Seeing that she didn't say anything, Fu Hanzhou held her chin with his tiger's mouth, still unwilling to give in:
"You always say that if you're not here, then I can't do without you. Now that you're here, then where else are you going?"
Qin Ying's breathing stagnated, she pried his hands apart, and smiled with forced composure:
"Where can I go? It's just a casual remark."
Fu Hanzhou refused to let go of her subtle expressions. He held her neck with his other hand and forced her to look at him.
"Look into my eyes and say that again."
His thumb brushed across the corners of her red eyes, and his voice was low and hoarse:
"I finally caught you, how dare you..."
Qin Ying opened her arms and hugged him, her voice softly coming:
"knew!"
She clenched her fingers behind his back, trying to ease her current sadness.
Listening to Fu Hanzhou's steady heartbeat, the sadness in her heart gradually subsided. She raised her head in his arms, her eyes shining:
"When you're discharged from the hospital, let's go to the movies!"
Fu Hanzhou looked down at the person in his arms, raised his eyebrows, and scratched her chin with his fingers, as if teasing a cat:
"Are you thinking about the last time we watched a movie in the compound? Are you still holding a grudge?"
There was cunning in his eyes, and an inexplicable joy in his eyes, and he chuckled:
"To make up for last time's mistake, you can watch it whenever you want, and no one will disturb us!"
Qin Ying sat up from his arms and pouted unhappily:
"Don't mention the last time to me. You were so happy last time, hugging each other, and I, the wife, was left out in the corner. I'm not that easy to talk to!"
