“Drive faster!”
Wei Zhuolan grabbed the handle on the roof, looked at Fu Hanzhou's tense profile, and suddenly growled, his voice trembling with suppression.
Fu Hanzhou slammed on the accelerator, and the old engine roared under the strain. The car was filled with a suffocating smell of leather and sweat.
When the car stopped in front of the Fu family's yard, he could hear his own violent heartbeat, and the autumn wind mixed with the fresh smell of earth blew in his face.
