Fu Hanzhou was stunned and a little bit unbelievable!
But seeing Qin Ying's little expression, she could see the cute and innocent look that she rarely showed in front of others.
"What's going on?"
Fu Hanzhou naturally took her hand and led her to the car without rushing to get in.
Qin Ying's body stiffened unconsciously when he suddenly grabbed her hand. She subconsciously looked at his profile, but saw that he had a serious expression and didn't care at all about what they were doing.
His palm was dry and warm, wrapping her hand tightly. The touch from his hand seemed to be able to pass from his palm to her heart without any hindrance. It was a feeling of security.
Standing beside the car, Qin Ying withdrew her hand without leaving a trace, and clasped her hands together awkwardly. She stroked the hand that he had just held. The warm touch on her skin made her feel strange in her heart.
After a pause, she quickly and in detail recounted how a boy bumped into her before she entered the examination room, how she found the small note, and how she carefully threw it away. Finally, she added:
"I remember the boy who bumped into me. I still remember what he looked like."
Fu Hanzhou's face darkened, and he rubbed his hands involuntarily at his sides.
His eyes were a little sharp:
"It seems like someone is deliberately targeting you and wants you to fail the exam. We need to find this boy and find out what his real purpose is."
After Fu Hanzhou finished speaking, he looked around and said in a low and serious voice:
"He just didn't succeed. If he dared to do it once, he'll dare to do it a second time. Watch and see if you can find him."
Qin Ying felt that what he said made sense, and she carefully watched the candidates entering and leaving the school gate.
Suddenly, her eyes fixed on a boy not far away.
The boy looked young. He looked around with a nervous expression, then walked quickly in one direction after leaving the school gate.
Qin Ying pointed at him and said to Fu Hanzhou in a low voice:
"That's him. That's the boy who bumped into me."
Fu Hanzhou looked in the direction she pointed, and his eyes instantly became cold and sharp.
"Come with me."
He calmly pulled Qin Ying's wrist and followed him from a distance, pretending nothing had happened.
Soon, the man ran into a remote alley, looked around, as if waiting for someone.
Fu Hanzhou and Qin Ying hid in the corner, staring at him closely.
After a while, a man wearing a men's sun hat and mask, and wrapped tightly in a work suit, hurried over.
If you don't look closely, it seems difficult to tell whether they are men or women just by looking at their clothes.
When the boy saw the person coming, he immediately went up to him and said anxiously:
"You're finally here! That woman threw the note away, so the job didn't get done. Even though we didn't catch her cheating, you still have to give me the money!"
The visitor didn't even raise his head, his tone was cold and his voice was very low:
"Why should I give you money if you didn't get the job done? It's because you're incompetent!"
The boy was a little excited and jumped up and down anxiously:
"But I did what you asked. She was just too alert! You can't go back on your word!"
Fu Hanzhou and Qin Ying looked at each other, and felt that the time was almost right, so they walked out quickly from the corner and shouted loudly:
"Stop! Don't even think about running away!"
When the man heard the sound, he looked up suddenly and saw Fu Hanzhou and Qin Ying. A trace of panic flashed in his eyes. He pushed the boy in front of Fu Hanzhou and turned around and ran away.
Fu Hanzhou was fine, but was suddenly bumped by the boy, which delayed his chance to catch up.
When I caught up, I found a fork in the road and there was no one on any of the roads.
Fu Hanzhou felt a little annoyed: he was running quite fast, and the man seemed to be very familiar with the roads here. In just a short while, he disappeared.
The person being chased walked to a deserted place, took off all her clothes, revealing the fashionable dress underneath, took off her hat and mask, and instantly her long wavy hair fell over her shoulders. She put on sunglasses and swaggered onto the main road.
She walked to the main road and looked behind her. Seeing that no one was chasing her and no one was paying attention to her, a contemptuous and complacent smile appeared on her proud face.
He walked towards a car parked on the side of the road, opened the door and got in.
She took off her sunglasses, shook her hair, and said to the driver in a charming and enchanting manner:
"Cultural Revolution, let's go!"
The driver, wearing a trendy floral shirt and sporting a head of shabby, Hong Kong-style curls, glanced in the rearview mirror at the face that haunted him and asked earnestly, "What's up?"
"Ping An, didn't you go looking for someone? Why are you back so soon?"
The man looked her up and down again as he spoke:
"Didn't you say you were afraid of the sun? You were wrapped up so tightly just now, why did you change clothes just now?"
A hint of hostility flashed in Gu Ping'an's eyes, and a seductive smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. He said tenderly to the man in the rearview mirror:
"I'm just afraid of getting tanned. I have a formal performance in the next two days, and the person I was looking for didn't show up, so I had to come back. The outfit I just wore was too eye-catching, so I took it off. I'll get tanned if I want, it's more comfortable this way!"
"Why do you act one way when you go out to meet someone, like you're a secret agent?"
The man found her outfit much more pleasing to the eye than the one she had just worn, and said with a frivolous smile:
"Who is so important that he came yesterday and today, and even dared to stand you up? But why did you throw away all your clothes?"
Now she was wearing a skirt and came back empty-handed. The clothes she had just put on were gone and she didn't bring them back.
