His absent-minded appearance made Chen Shuyun increasingly confused. She scrutinized him with a pair of shrewd eyes.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to the compound!"
Wei Zhuolan quickly changed his clothes and walked towards the door, his voice sounding a little flustered because of his urgency.
"Don't go!"
Chen Shuyun shouted angrily.
Wei Zhuolan paused and looked at her. His expression was unrevealed, but his eyes were filled with anxiety.
"Mom, do you know how much trouble this will cause her? She's a lesbian and she's been expelled for bad behavior. How serious will the consequences be for her?"
Chen Shuyun looked at him for a moment and sneered. As she thought, she knew her child best.
She looked him in the eyes sharply, with obvious anger in her voice, and asked sternly:
"Why are you so nervous about her? What can you change by going now? I was the one who ordered her dismissal. Things have come to this point, and your going there won't help."
Wei Zhuolan was stunned. Yes, what could he do now?
Apologize to her, and then what?
And then what else?
He said he actually liked her...
May I?
She must be the target of public criticism now, and he can... and is willing to take responsibility!
When he had this thought, he seemed to be unable to suppress his excitement. This is also a way to remedy the situation... isn't it?
His mind was thinking rapidly, but his words seemed out of control. Now he had to see her. He looked at Chen Shuyun, earnestly and anxiously:
"At least...at least I can explain it clearly..."
Chen Shuyun's eyes remained cold, suppressing her anger:
"Explain clearly? Explain what? Explain whether I fired her because she seduced you, or... because you fell in love with her?"
Wei Zhuolan's body suddenly stopped and he looked at Chen Shuyun in shock. What was she talking about?
