How could Gu Chijin sleep with her by his side?
After closing the ward door, Gu Chijin asked Shi Qi to sit beside the bed and talked about the future.
Shi Qi became interested, thinking that they would be able to return to the military family compound soon, and happily told him what plans they would make after returning.
In order to keep the clothing store in the city open, she had to make a living with her own hands without relying on the Li family.
Gu Chijin was injured and didn't need to take any missions during this period.
They can spend more time together and get to know each other better.

"Qu Feng is not dead. He has been captured by my people."
A trace of shock flashed across Gu Chijin's face. He straightened up and his tone turned cold.
"How is that possible? I shot him through the heart right there."
Li Shaoyu shook his head:
"The doctor is still examining him, and I don't know the cause yet.
If my guess is correct, his body structure should be different from that of ordinary people."
Li Shaoyu stared at Gu Chijin:
“We won’t let him go anytime soon, you’re safe for now.
But we can't keep him locked up forever. If he returns to the Qu family, you'll be in danger."
Li Shaoyu's words have two meanings.
One level is to tell Gu Chijin that they will not kill Qu Feng.
The second level is to warn Gu Chijin to be prepared, because Qu Feng almost died in his hands this time, and he will definitely take revenge in the future.
If his sister is implicated because of Gu Chijin, Li Shaoyu will definitely find a way to separate them.

Li Shaoyu didn't want to admit that for a moment just now, he really wanted to do this.
If he hadn't considered that his sister would be angry, he would have had plenty of ways to force the two to separate.
Gu Chijin's expression turned pale and he leaned back on the bed.
"What are your conditions?"
The bodyguard's voice calling Miss came from outside the door, and Li Shaoyu said:
