“I came here today to look for my son.
The rest has nothing to do with our Qu family."
Seeing that he refused to budge, Li Yuanliang was about to explode again and raise his fist to hit him.
Qu Jianghe's men had been on guard against him attacking again, and when they saw him about to throw another punch, they immediately rushed forward.
The subordinates following Li Yuanliang were not easy to deal with either. Seeing Qu's men coming over, they quickly ran over and surrounded Li Yuanliang.

Li Yuanliang waved his hand and led his men into the forest to continue searching for people.
Qu Jianghe and his men were left standing there, their eyes turning green with anger.
Gu Chijin ran out of the forest holding Shi Qi in his arms. There was already a car waiting outside.
After carefully carrying Shi Qi into the back seat, Gu Chijin just stood up and was about to leave the back seat when Shi Qi grabbed his arm.
"Don't leave."
Her voice was almost pleading, and her eyes, which used to be moist and clear, were now filled with anxiety.
Gu Chijin felt a pang of pain in his heart. He closed the door and got into the car. He held her in his arms and patted her gently, softening his voice for fear of scaring her:
"I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving. I just want to go drive."
Shi Qi tightly grasped Gu Chijin's clothes around his waist, looking vulnerable:
"Don't leave, let them go."
Shi Qi just saw that the Li family members were following them, and he didn't want to leave Gu Chijin for a moment.
Only when she stayed close to Gu Chijin did she feel safe.
"Deputy Battalion Commander Gu, you take care of the young lady. We'll drive."
When the people who came out with Gu Chijin and Shi Qi saw this, they drove to the front.
Someone was driving, and Gu Chijin held Shi Qi in his arms and comforted him without any worries.
The car was leaving in the opposite direction of the forest. Halfway through the journey, Gu Chijin's face darkened.
"This isn't the way back to the military dependents' compound. Where are you taking me?"
On the winding mountain road, the black car carrying Gu Chijin and Shi Qi moved forward along the winding mountain road.
The Li family's subordinate who was driving the car glanced back through the rearview mirror, saw the gloomy face of Gu Chijin, and immediately explained:
"It was Young Master Li's order. He said that it's not appropriate for the young lady and Deputy Battalion Commander Gu to appear in public right now, so he asked me to take you somewhere else to stay temporarily."
Gu Chijin frowned and instantly understood Li Shaoyu's plan.
Looking down at the anxious Shi Qi, Gu Chijin shut up and let the Li family's men drive.
The car drove on the mountain road for half an hour, circled half of the mountain, and went down the back mountain in the other direction.
After going down the mountain, the car drove towards the city.
After about forty minutes, the car stopped in front of a small villa.
"Miss, the young master has instructed that you and Deputy Battalion Commander Gu stay here for the next two days. He will come to pick you up when the time is right."
After getting out of the car and opening the door, the Li family's men explained to Shi Qi very politely.
Shi Qi didn't want to listen to others talking, and hugged Gu Chijin tightly without letting go for a moment.
“Okay, I understand.
Go back and tell Li Shaoyu that I will take good care of Shi Qi and let him focus on dealing with the Qu family."
The Li family's men glanced at Shi Qi, and seeing that she didn't say anything, they nodded solemnly to Gu Chijin.
"Okay, Deputy Commander Gu.
Please take the lady in first, I will send the car over later."
Holding Shi Qi out of the car, Gu Chijin walked straight into the villa.
The door was open and the key to the villa was placed at the entrance.
As Gu Chijin entered the villa with the person in his arms, he heard the sound of a car driving away behind him.
"Gu Chijin, I'm in pain. I want to sleep."
Staying by Gu Chijin's side, Shi Qi relaxed completely. Fatigue and the pain from her wounds surged up at once, making her lie listlessly in Gu Chijin's arms like a frost-bitten autumn flower.
Turning on the lights in the house, Gu Chijin looked around and carried Shi Qi to the master bedroom on the second floor of the villa.
After kicking the door open, Gu Chijin took a casual look and realized that no one had lived here for a long time.
But they must have hired someone to clean the house regularly, as the beds, quilts and cabinets in the house are all as clean as new.
After putting Shi Qi on the bed, Gu Chijin finally saw the wound on her neck with the help of the light.
With trembling hands, he lifted her collar. Dried blood solidified on the collar and stained her skin. As he lifted her collar, Shi Qi frowned and groaned in pain.
Gu Chijin's hands froze. He took off Shi Qi's shoes, covered him with the quilt, and squatted down, saying softly:
"You go get some sleep first. I'll go get some hot water and scrub you down."
Shi Qi pursed his lips, pinched the quilt, tears in his eyes:
"Hurry up. I don't want to sleep alone."
Whenever she closed her eyes, she would think of that dark and sealed cave. She had been tied up and tortured by Qu Feng for the past few days, and she had become completely abnormal.
Now, she just wanted to get close to Gu Chijin, hold him tightly, and smell the cold soapy scent on his body. Only then did Shi Qi feel that she was alive.
"Okay, I'll do it as soon as possible."
Leaning over and touching the corner of Shi Qi's lips, Gu Chijin turned around and strode downstairs.
Gu Chijin boiled the water as quickly as possible, adjusted the temperature, put it in a basin and returned to the room.
