Chapter 80 Writing a Letter

Bullets pierced through the rain and hit the tire with a bang. The center of gravity of the car driven by Gu Chijin shifted, and it fell off the cliff after being hit by another military vehicle.

Shi Qi was terrified and staggered forward, shouting for help at the top of her lungs, but no one in the world paid any attention to her.

Tears rolled down his cheeks as Shi Qi lay in the dirty muddy water at the edge of the cliff, unable to reach forward.

But they could only watch Gu Chijin's military vehicle quickly disintegrate and decay in the collision with the mountain.

With a loud bang, the front of the car crashed straight into the bottom of the cliff.

The flames shot up into the sky, reflected in Toki's shrunken pupils, sending a shock through her soul.

call.

In the darkness, Shi Qi sat up, sweating profusely, hugging the quilt and gasping for breath.

Turning around, he found himself sleeping in the room, not in any rainstorm. Shi Qi let out a long breath.

The dream just now was too real, so real that she thought something really happened to Gu Chijin.

He shook his head vigorously, trying to suppress the palpitations. Shi Qi couldn't sleep anymore, so he got up and turned on the light.

When the lights came on, Shiqi subconsciously closed his eyes.

Thinking of the scene in her dream just now, she didn't dare to be careless. She found a piece of white paper and started writing the letter.

He wrote down the dream he had just had in detail, and wrote his own name at the end.

Thinking that there was an envelope in Gu Chijin's room, she turned on the light and went to the cabinet in his room to get it.

Only after putting the letter into the envelope did Shi Qi finally feel at ease.

After putting the letter on the table, Shi Qi saw that it was already three o'clock in the morning and had to go back to bed to continue sleeping.

After tossing and turning for half the night, Shi Qi fell asleep quickly this time when he went to bed.

It was just dawn when Shi Qi opened his eyes hazily, looked at the time, got up, got dressed and washed up.

He went out with the letter and waited for more than ten minutes on the road that Jiang Chen had to take to get to the army. Then he saw Jiang Chen and Ji Zhang walking towards him from the other end.

Seeing Shi Qi standing outside so early, Jiang Chen was surprised:

"Tokisu, what are you doing here so early?"

With Gu Chijin away, Jiang Chen became more concerned about taking care of his wife.

Seeing her, I couldn't help but ask a few more questions.

Shi Qi walked up, called out "Brother Jiang", "Brother Ji", and took the letter out of the bag.

"Brother Jiang, I have something I'd like to trouble you with. I wonder if it's convenient for you to come here."

Jiang Chen was even more puzzled:

"What's up?"

Shiqi handed him the letter:

"I have something very important to tell Gu Chijin, but he's on a mission and I can't contact him.

Could you please help me think of a way to have this letter delivered to him?"

Jiang Chen took the letter and squeezed it, only to find that it contained only a thin piece of paper.

“Is it important?

But I may not be able to contact him.”

Gu Chijin went out on a mission. For his safety, his whereabouts were kept secret in the army. Even Jiang Chen didn't know where he was.

"Can you think of a solution?"

Shi Qi stared at Jiang Chen with an anxious look on his face.

Last night’s dream was too real. Shi Qi didn’t want to gamble anymore and now he was eager to know the news about Gu Chijin.

"It doesn't matter if the letter really can't be delivered. I just want to know if he's safe now."

After hearing this, Jiang Chen finally understood.

It turned out that Shi Qi was worried about Gu Chijin's safety.

Thinking that his brother's efforts were not in vain, Jiang Chen was happy for Gu Chijin:

"Don't worry, I'll go and ask about the situation when I get to the army.

If I really can't get any information, I'll give the letter to my leader and ask him to find a way to get it to Brother Gu."

Shi Qi had no choice but to nod in agreement.

When he arrived at the store, Shi Qi hung up the sample clothes, ate two buns casually, and then began to draw the design.

At around 8:30, Jiang Ling came in from outside, and Shi Qi remembered that he had forgotten her today.

It’s all because of yesterday’s dream. If it weren’t for that dream, she wouldn’t be so uneasy until now.

Forget that Jiang Ling came to work today.

"Sister-in-law, I'm sorry, I had something very important to do this morning, so I didn't wait for you at home."

He stood up and asked Jiang Ling if she had eaten breakfast, and Shi Qi explained to her what happened in the morning.

After hearing her words, Jiang Ling felt relieved:

"It's okay, it's okay. I went to your house this morning to call you, and when I saw no one was there, I knew something must have happened to you."

In fact, Jiang Ling went to Gu's house to call Shi Qi this morning, but no one answered after calling for a long time. She thought Shi Qi was dissatisfied with her for not going yesterday.

Jiang Ling came here with a nervous mood, and when she saw Shi Qi treating her as usual, she felt relieved.

Shi Qi had a design draft to work on. It was Jiang Ling's first day and she didn't have time to teach her. Thinking about the clothes she had purchased a few days ago with broken threads, Shi Qi took it out for her to practice.

At the beginning, Jiang Ling was afraid of damaging the clothes, so her movements were a little clumsy. But after half a day, the lines she made were very neat and beautiful.

When Shi Qi saw this, he praised her for her talent.

The first day was spent by both of them being busy.

The next day, Shi Qi took out some of the fabrics he had used before, took out a design draft and gave it to Jiang Ling, asking her to make clothes according to the design.

Shi Qi watched Jiang Ling drawing the whole time. Whenever he saw her make a mistake, he would point it out and even teach her how to do it himself.

Jiang Ling studied hard and mastered the skills very quickly. After a few tries, she was able to do it quite well in just one or two days.

On the agreed day, Shi Qi asked Jiang Ling to watch over the store while he went to Xia Wei's villa with three design drawings.

Xia Wei and her sisters had been waiting at home for a long time. When they saw Shi Qi coming, they asked their nanny, Mrs. Zheng, to pour tea for Shi Qi.

This time, the three of them were obviously more enthusiastic than last time.

When Shi Qi sat down, they all looked at the bag in her hand expectantly.

Shi Qi smiled, took out the design draft and handed it to Xia Wei:
