Chapter 28 We Meet

"I'd better give you a ride. The things you carry are really heavy. I didn't expect you to be so strong."

Ying Han smiled awkwardly. She didn't have that much strength. She had originally planned to wait until night to put it into the space and take it out when she got there. Fortunately, she met Zhao Bing.

Zhao Bing braved the heavy snow and sent her to the vicinity of the farm. He pointed to a dilapidated gate and said, "That's it. I won't send you off. I'll come back after the New Year."

"Thank you, Comrade Zhao, I'm very grateful." Ying Han bowed sincerely to Zhao Bing. It was all thanks to him that he was able to find his parents in this life so quickly.

Zhao Bing was so frightened that he quickly moved away. "No, no, it's just a small favor. I'm leaving now. Remember to be careful here. It's best not to go out. If someone sees you, it will be bad..."

Ying Han nodded quickly in response.

Zhao Bing left. Ying Han looked at his back as he walked away in the snow and let out a sigh.

Turning around and looking at the farm, I saw a uniform low fence with open space covered with snow.

Some vegetables must have been planted here, and they have been harvested by the time winter comes.

There is a thatched house with several rooms next to the farm. That should be where Zhao Bing’s parents live.

This is the first time I have met my parents in the book since I traveled through time.

At this moment, the longing and pain left by the original owner gradually surged into my heart.

"Alas, I didn't have a good family in my previous life, but this time God gave me a pair of good parents. I must cherish them very much. To the 'Ying Han' in heaven, or to the 'Ying Han' who traveled through time like her, don't worry. I will never let anything happen to my parents."

Ying Han took two deep breaths and walked into the thatched hut with his things in his hand.

"Is anyone there?" The gate of this thatched house was made of broken wood, reaching Ying Han's shoulders. Standing at the door, he could see the whole scene in the yard at a glance.

Although this place is shabby, there are no herds of cattle and sheep like they have over there.

"Who is it?"

A familiar voice made Ying Han a little excited. This voice was too familiar in his memory. It should be his mother.

In a dozen seconds, a man in his forties, with haggard eyes and eyebrows, came out of a room. He was wearing a bloated, loose grey suit.

Ying Han was delighted and quickly said, "Mom, it's me, Hanhan."

The woman was stunned and quickly opened the door. The excitement on her face had concealed the haggard look on her face.

However, when he saw a man wearing bulky clothes, a dog-skin hat, a scarf, and a faint redness on his face, he was obviously stunned and a moment of disappointment flashed across his face.

Ying Han didn't explain, he quickly carried the bamboo basket and bag in and closed the door.

Yun Yulan stared at this person in a daze, feeling a little confused.

After standing still, Ying Han untied the ears of his hat, revealing his little face.

"Mom, it's me, Hanhan."

Yun Yulan never dreamed that she would see her daughter at this moment.

He held her little face in his hands excitedly, tears already flashing in his eyes.

"Hanhan, why...why are you here?"

"Mom, I missed you guys, so I came here secretly."

Yun Yulan hugged Ying Han, tears finally streaming down her face. "My Hanhan, I miss you so much."

"Mom, I miss you too. How are you and Dad?"

When the father was mentioned, Yun Yulan hugged Ying Han for a moment, and anxiously pulled her and said, "Hanhan, go see your father quickly. He is sick. If he knows you are here, he will definitely get better."

Ying Han followed Yun Yulan into a room where there was a bed and a kang table.

Father Ying, who was lying in bed, had already heard the noise outside. His eyes were red at this moment. At that moment, the grown man couldn't hold back and shed precious tears. "Hanhan."

"Dad, I'm here to see you and mom. What's wrong with you?"

"It's okay, just a cold."

Yun Yulan felt sorry for her husband, but she could do nothing about the world. "It's not a cold. I was just being taught a lesson by the villagers a few days ago. But some drunken teenagers didn't know what was going on and started a fight with us. Your father was hurt the most in order to protect me and Mr. Pei Laotian next to him."

Ying Hanguang looked at the wound on his father's face, still furious. "Those people are too much. Is there no one to do anything?"

"Don't be angry, Dad is fine. He will be fine in a few days. They are just being bossy here. If I were in the army, I could take down several of them by myself."

Yun Yulan wiped her tears and blamed her husband, "Even in this situation, you are still talking nonsense."

"Mom, have you gone to see Dad? Is there anything wrong?"

"The village doctor examined him and prescribed some medicine, but it didn't work. Your father said it had lost its effect over time. I'm thinking of talking to the village chief tomorrow and taking your father to the city for treatment."

"Dad, where do you feel uncomfortable now?" Ying Han was sure that the village chief would not agree to his mother's request, otherwise his father would not have survived this winter.

"It's uncomfortable. I can't use any strength in my body. My joints are very stiff. My head feels dizzy and heavy, and my eyes are sore and tired." Ying's father said, pointing to his lumbar spine. "I think they hit my waist. I didn't pay much attention to it at the time. I came back and slept for a night, but I feel uncomfortable now."

Ying Han didn't understand pathology, but he was sure that his father must have been injured somewhere important.

"Mom, I brought some medicine. I'll go get it." Ying Han said, ran out, and carried his bamboo basket on his back.

Yun Yulan only now noticed that her daughter had brought so many things.

I quickly helped her carry it in.

Yun Yulan touched Ying's face distressedly and asked, "Hanhan, how can you carry so many things by yourself? Also, why is your face red?"
