Chapter 4: Meeting a Good Person

He had been observing this young educated youth Ying Han for a long time. She only had a little food ration every day and hadn't seen meat for half a year. It would be easy for him to deceive her.

Just when Zhu Liang was feeling proud, Ying Han said mercilessly, "I'm sorry, I don't like you. Get out of the way quickly, or I'll call for help."

When Zhu Liang heard the rejection, his face immediately darkened. "Little girl, don't refuse a toast and then drink a forfeit. I'm giving you face and trying to coax you. Don't be ungrateful."

Ying Han felt a chill and ran back quickly, not even caring about the sheep behind him. He shouted as he ran, "Who wants your things? I'm going back."

Zhu Liang carefully put on the lipstick in the back, snorted lightly, and said slowly, "Hey, why are you running? I'm telling you this, my lipstick is very expensive." After that, he caught up with Ying Han in three or two steps, stretched out his arms, and blocked her.

Ying Han was shocked and could not move forward, so he could only look back. He looked left and right and quickly ran into a hidden jungle.

While running, he picked up a hard object and threw it at Zhu Liang.

"Ah, you little girl, I didn't do anything to you, but you started it first. Fine, wait and see how I deal with you."

Ying Han didn't bother to look back, she just ran and hid herself as soon as she was out of his sight.

Ying Han prayed that he could escape this disaster. No matter how much he cried out, no one would answer him. If he was really caught by Zhu Liang, he would be finished.

But Ying Han underestimated Zhu Liang's speed. Even though he was hit by her just now, he still had so much momentum.

In less than two minutes, seeing that they were about to catch up, Ying Han used up his last bit of strength and ran to a hidden path.

As soon as she saw a cave and wanted to hide in it, Zhu Liang grabbed her legs from behind, and a trace of fear instantly spread throughout her body.

Ying Han didn't care about anything else and just grabbed the iron rod in his hand and stabbed it into Zhu Liang's hand.

My hands were shaking, and I didn't stab the needle accurately, so I stabbed the ground instead.

"Hehe, with such little strength you have, you still dare to stab me? I'll kill you in a while." Zhu Liang said as he pulled Ying Han's leg and stood up.

"Zhu Liang, if you dare to touch me today, I will drag you to my death." Ying Han said, kicking his feet a few times to try to shake him off.

After running a few steps forward, he was unfortunately tripped by something.

Something stabbed her face all the way to behind her ear, and Ying Han screamed in pain.

Zhu Liang came forward and pressed Ying Han down. "Run! With your short legs, you can't outrun me even if you try your best," he said with an evil grin.

"You...don't come over here, or I'll tell the village chief." Zhu Liang stepped forward and tried to pull Ying Han's clothes. Ying Han's face turned pale, and her heart was dead. She resented why God treated her like this. She was unhappy in her previous life, and now she had to suffer everything the original owner had done as soon as she came here.

Just when Ying Han closed his eyes in despair, a cold voice suddenly came from not far away.

"Let her go."

A magnetic male voice startled them both.

Zhu Liang looked up and saw a man covered in blood pointing a gun at him not far away.

Frightened, he quickly let go of Ying Han, raised his hands, and said cautiously, "Comrade, let's talk it over. Put down your gun first."

Ying Han also stood up at this time, stumbled and ran behind the injured man, and said, "Comrade, please save me. He is a scoundrel in the village and has bullied many girls."

"No, that's not true. I have decent thoughts and work hard. I just made a mistake today. Big brother, can you put down your gun first?"

Zhu Liang looked at the man covered in blood and breathing weakly. His eyes rolled and he slowly moved forward, trying to snatch the gun from his hand.

But he underestimated Deng Chen's vigilance. Before he got close, Deng Chen shot Zhu Liang without hesitation, and he fell to the ground instantly.

It happened so fast that Ying Han had no idea what was happening.

Seeing Zhu Liang staring with eyes wide open and twitching on the ground, Ying Han was so frightened that he was stunned and couldn't recover for a long time.

"Don't be afraid, he won't die." The next second, the man lowered his arms and leaned weakly against the mountain behind him, as if the action just now had exhausted all his strength.

Ying Han found a stick uncertainly and walked carefully to a place not far from Zhu Liang, then poked him with the stick.

I only saw Zhu Liang groan twice and heard two very small cries for help.

Ying Han finally breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the ground. After she recovered, she looked seriously at the person who saved her and quickly stepped forward to say

"Comrade, do you... do you need my help with anything?" Ying Han realized that this man urgently needed to treat his wounds. His legs, abdomen and left arm were all seriously injured.

The man shook his head weakly and said, "It's useless. I'm too badly injured." It was obvious that he didn't have much hope for himself.

Ying Han looked around and said, "Wait a minute, I'll get you some medicine to stop the bleeding."

Ying Han had never studied medicine, but during that year he had seen the village barefoot doctor go up the mountain to collect herbs, and every time he would run into Ying Han grazing sheep at the foot of the mountain.

Occasionally, he would talk about pharmacology with Yinghan, and Yinghan learned about several herbs.

There isn't much else on the mountain here, just a lot of herbs.

Within a few minutes, I found two hemostatic pills and one anti-inflammatory pill.

No matter whether it is enough or not, let’s help deal with the one that is bleeding the most first.

"Comrade, let me help you stop the bleeding in your abdomen first. This herb can stop bleeding." Time was urgent, Ying Han didn't care about anything else. He chewed the herb in his mouth and applied it to the wound. Ying Han looked like a knife wound.

This is the border, and there are often riots. This man is wearing combat uniform, so he must be a soldier on a mission.

After the wound was covered with the dressing, it became difficult to bandage it. Ying Han searched for a long time but couldn't find a suitable one.

She looked down at her clothes and found that Zhu Liang had just torn off a few buttons. Now it was almost the same as not wearing anything. Ying Han didn't care about that. Saving people was the most important thing. Besides, the other person had just saved her life.

"you..."

Deng Chen was surprised to see Ying Han using his own clothes to bandage himself.

"Comrade, we need to stop the bleeding here. We have to bandage it tightly. It's okay. I still have clothes on underneath."

Ying Han smiled and pointed at her two-ribbed vest. Luckily, she was wearing a large one today. She was afraid of running into Zhu Liang, so she wore an extra layer underneath.

Deng Chen looked at the little girl with two pigtails and two small canine teeth showing when she smiled, which was very pretty.

Ying Yinghan had a better impression of him. "Thank you."

"It's my duty. Thanks to you comrade just now." Ying Han smiled at Deng Chen and continued to help him check his legs and arms.

There was a knife wound on his leg and a gunshot wound, which must have been a bullet. Ying Han couldn't handle it, so he could only bandage it briefly.

The wrist was in serious condition, bloody and mangled, and she didn't dare to move.
