Chapter 1 Extra: The Annual Qixi Festival (Escape Chapter)
At this time, Xin Que and his companions had just escaped from the city without any major incident and were still on the run.
"..."
The light rain drizzled down on the corpse lying in the pool of blood.
The scent of rain, mixed with the earthy smell, quickly filled the air.
Xin Que put away her gun and slowly walked out of the rain toward her SUV parked by the roadside.
Luo Huayi got back into the car around the same time as her.
Luo Hua casually turned on the air conditioner and the passenger-side dome light. He noticed that Xin Que's face and clothes were splattered with a lot of blood. Although it had smudged a bit due to the rain, the traces were still clearly visible.
Luo Huayi stared at her profile, lost in thought.
The woman's behavior when committing murder is almost the complete opposite of her usual nonchalant act.
Perhaps because she had just eliminated a group of pursuing assassins, Xin Que was still in a highly tense state.
Her sharply defined profile, stained with blood, coupled with her furrowed brows and sharp gaze fixed on the windshield, made her appear exceptionally powerful.
Xin Que took the wet wipe from Luo Huayi's hand, cleaned up the bloodstains, and, making sure that returning to the city would not arouse suspicion, was about to shift gears and start the car.
Luo Huayi raised his hand and pressed down on the back of her hand that was resting on the gear lever.
“The clothes smell too strongly of blood,” he said, turning off the passenger-side dome light with his other hand, plunging the car back into darkness. His voice softened as he said, “Change your clothes, then we’ll go back.”
"..."
The SUV eventually stopped on a deserted road some distance from the city.
Luo Huayi wrapped his arms around the woman's slender waist and knelt between her legs.
Xin Que looked down at the top of his fluffy, soft hair.
The woman's hair, hanging down, covered most of her face, and the darkness made it impossible to discern her emotions.
"No injuries... You're adapting well to your new body?"
After a moment, Xin Que touched his hair, gesturing for him to lift his face.
Luo Huayi reluctantly raised her head.
"Hmm..." His eyes were half-closed, and a hint of rising desire could be seen in his expression. "It's alright."
Xin Que's fingers traced down his cheek, finally stopping at the man's luscious lips. She gently caressed them with her fingertips, then slid her thumb along the corner of his slightly parted lips.
"The android's body... um... is not much different from that of the real person surnamed Huo from before."
Because of the obstruction of her fingers, Luo Huayi's speech was unclear, but it did not affect the two's normal communication.
"Hmm." Xin Que seemed to be asking casually, without really caring whether he was adapting to his new body.
Luo Huayi's brows slowly furrowed.
When Xin Que felt the smooth, warm touch of her tongue enveloping her fingertips, she immediately removed her hand.
"...What's wrong?" Luo Huayi looked up at her, her every move revealing a seductive invitation for her to continue. "You don't like me like this?"
“This is not the time to fool around,” Xin Que patted his shoulder, “Get up.”
Luo Huayi gripped the belt of her overalls, which had sagged onto the chair beside her, his breath growing increasingly intimate and hot. "It's rare that it's just the two of us... there's nothing wrong with indulging just this once..."
Seeing a hint of displeasure in the woman's eyes as she looked down at him, he lifted her t-shirt again, and his hot, wet kisses traveled down her abs.
The man gently bit the edge of the elastic band with his teeth. "You don't have to touch me... anyway, it's easy to control the android's body reactions... um..."
The man's words, muffled by the tender, passionate kiss, were indistinct: "I want... to serve you."
