Bai Jian's face paled. "That's not what I meant. No matter what happens to you, Master, I will protect you. I have absolutely no disrespect in my heart."
"A scar cannot conceal the master's charm. In my heart, the master remains a refined and elegant man of extraordinary character and appearance."
Bai Yanlang knew, of course, that Bai Jian wouldn't care about his appearance. He had intended to tease her, but seeing her like this, he couldn't bring himself to do it.

After saying that, he went downstairs to eat.

Bai Yanlang sighed softly, "We still have to take it slowly."
After dinner, Bai Yanlang went to Chiyan to handle some matters. Di Chenxiao no longer clashed with him, and with one less opponent, he was quite bored. However, there was no shortage of people causing trouble.
Bai Yanlang paused, turned his head slightly, and glanced at Bai Jian out of the corner of his eye, "Come to my side."
Bai Jian was slightly surprised, but still obeyed the order and walked to Bai Yanlang's right.
Before she could ask, Bai Yanlang said, "From now on, stay by my side and don't walk behind me."
Bai Jian: "This is against the rules."
"You don't have to follow the rules." Before, Bai Jian could only watch his back, but not anymore.
Bai Jian had no idea how the day had passed. She felt like her soul had left her body. She could see her master's face out of the corner of her eye, something she never dared to dream of.
She used to be afraid that she would leave her master, but even after the white bee and white eagle returned to her master's side, she was still left by her master's side.
Later, fearing that she would annoy her master if she talked too much, she stopped talking and just stood silently behind her master.
Later, she felt sorry for her master's unrequited love for Shi Xi. She thought that as long as she could stand behind her master, she would be content.
Unexpectedly, she received a hug this morning and could keep looking at her master's profile. She felt so happy.
At night, after Bai Jian left Bai Yanlang's room, he sat at the door, waiting for dawn.
Bai Yanlang seemed to sense that Bai Jian hadn't left, so he opened the door and, sure enough, saw Bai Jian sitting on the ground with her knees drawn up to her chest.
I felt sorry for this girl who was willing to give without asking for anything in return.
"Go back to your room and sleep, don't catch a cold."

Bai Yanlang: "If you don't want to go back to your room, you can come in."
