Shi Xi was left alone in the kitchen, still struggling with what to do. She ate some mango mille-feuille to calm her agitated state. Soon, she finished a box of mango mille-feuille, but Shi Xi still hadn't decided what to make.
She wasn't much of a cook, but she could definitely eat. She'd just have another box of mango mille-feuille, and then worry about the rest later. And so, Shi Xi ate box after box of mango mille-feuille, along with many other desserts, in the kitchen.
I'm so full, I don't want to cook anymore. After eating, everything looks unpleasant to Shi Xi.
I've got it! As long as Xiao Xiao is full, that should count as her treating him to a meal! She'll make her specialty, hehe—
Di Chenxiao was worried about Shi Xi being alone in the kitchen, so he waited outside. But after waiting for a long time, there was no movement from the kitchen, not even the sound of water being turned on to wash vegetables.
When Indra entered, he saw his master standing unceremoniously at the kitchen door, eavesdropping.
"Master, is Miss Shi cooking? Does she know how to cook?"
Di Chenxiao pretended nothing had happened and continued eavesdropping. He heard the sound of washing vegetables, and soon, a series of crackling sounds came from the kitchen.
Shi Xi was chopping vegetables when the oil in the pan was already hot enough to cook them. She put the chopped vegetables into the pan, and with a sizzle, the vegetables caught fire because of the excess water and the hot oil.
"Ah—Xiaoxiao, Xiaoxiao, it's on fire!" Shi Xi shouted.
The kitchen alarm also went off. Di'er and Di Jiu, who were in their own rooms, Di Wen, who was checking the protective measures outside, and Di Xing, who was in the torture chamber, all heard the alarm going off in the main house and rushed to the main house.
Di Chenxiao was also frightened by Shi Xi. He kicked the door open, grabbed Shi Xi, and ran outside.

Di'er asked, "What happened?"

Di Xing adjusted his glasses, chuckled, and said, "Miss Shi, I have other matters to attend to, so I'll be leaving now." After saying that, he walked away to continue interrogating the criminals.
Seeing the girl's ears turn red with embarrassment, Di Chenxiao said coldly, "Are you all very free?"
Emperor Wen: "Leave immediately, leave immediately."
Diwen, Di'er, and Dishi also left the living room. Dishi paused at the door, glanced back at the girl who was covering her face, and then left.
Dier rubbed his temples. "Every time I see Shi Xi, she makes people both laugh and cry."
Indra lowered his head and remained silent before going to train in the back mountains.
Diwen asked with a worried expression, "Di'er, does Di Shi like Miss Shi?"
"It's obvious."
"He and Miss Shi are destined to be apart! What a wonderful boy, how could he—fall in love with someone he shouldn't have?"
Di'er pursed his lips and remained silent.
Inside the living room, Shi Xi still covered her face with her hands, too ashamed to face Xiao Xiao. She had nearly burned down his kitchen while cooking a meal, triggering the alarm and attracting a lot of attention. The people of Xiyuan must have already spread her shameful story far and wide.
Di Chenxiao sat down next to Shi Xi, patted the girl's head, and slowly said, "Xi Xi, no one dares to spread this. No outsiders will know about this."
Shi Xi still ignored everyone.
