Chapter 2 of The Fairy Who Became a Boss

Chapter 2

The students in Class 2 of Grade 2 learned during the summer vacation that a special student would be transferred to their class at the beginning of the new semester.

The head teacher Liu Qinghua did not specify Qi Ying's situation, but told the students in the class group that the new student's father was a police officer who sacrificed his life for the people, and was glorious and great. The new student was the daughter of a martyr and the descendant of a hero, and everyone must help and love each other.

The biggest worry for this group of adolescent boys and girls in their daily lives is nothing more than their grades and exams, plus the worry of secret crushes. They have never seen the adjective "martyr and hero" before. After being shocked, they all flooded the screen with messages promising that they would take good care of their new classmates!

The campus is full of vigor and vitality at the beginning of the semester.

Although Qi Ying had been preparing herself mentally for a long time, she was still somewhat uncomfortable when she saw so many people around her.

She had been displaced since she was born, and wherever she went, there was devastation and suffering everywhere. Later, she lived in the general's mansion, with only two or three maids serving her. Most of her memories were lifeless and lonely.

The only lively moment she could remember was the Lantern Festival that year. The general happened to be back in Beijing. He changed into casual clothes and took her to the street. He held her hand among the crowds and bought her a string of candied haws.

The candy was sweet and sticky, and it stuck to her teeth. The general asked her, "Is it delicious?"

She couldn't open her mouth, secretly ashamed, so she could only nod, and then hesitantly extended the candied haws in her hand to him. But the general just smiled and shook his head, "I bought it for you."

Someone hit Qi Ying's shoulder hard, causing her to stumble and her memories were interrupted.

A group of boys ran past in the corridor like a gust of wind, swearing and chasing each other. Yu Zhuo held Qi Ying and cursed at the boy who had already run away without even saying sorry: "Don't you have eyes?"

Unexpectedly, the boy who was running at the end heard it, and he turned around suddenly, apparently wanting to come over and talk to Yu Zhuo. Just after he took two steps back, he heard his brother shouting, "Qu Dazhuang, what are you dawdling about? Your brother is still waiting for us!"

The boy named Qu Dazhuang gave Yu Zhuo the middle finger, then turned and ran away.

Not wanting to be outdone, Yu Zhuo gave him a middle finger in return.

The man with glasses who was leaning against the balcony said kindly, "Classmate, I advise you not to mess with those people."

Yu Zhuo was a troublemaker in junior high school. He was not afraid of causing trouble. When he heard the warning, he just sneered: "Why can't I cause trouble?"

The man with glasses covered one corner of his mouth and said, "That's all because of following Ji Rang."

Yu·A newborn calf is not afraid of a tiger·Zhuo: "Ji Rang? Which bastard? I've never heard of him."

The noisy surroundings suddenly became quiet for two seconds.

The man with glasses seemed not to have expected him to say such outrageous words. He was stunned for a moment, gave him a look that said "May the best of luck" and ran away quickly.

Yu Zhuo didn't know what trouble he had caused. He patted Qi Ying's clothes, who was standing there stiffly, and took her wrist and took her to the head teacher's office.

Liu Qinghua was sorting the roster and happened to turn to the page of Qi Ying. The girl in the photo had a ponytail, revealing a smooth and full forehead, and a slight curve at the corner of her mouth. She looked well-behaved and quiet.

When I heard the report, I looked up and saw a little girl who was even prettier than in the photo standing timidly at the door.

Yu Zhuo handed Qi Ying to Liu Qinghua and returned to his classroom.

Liu Qinghua tried to communicate with Qi Ying in the office, both talking and gesturing. Qi Ying's hands behind her back were shaking slightly as she tried hard to understand what the stranger across from her wanted to convey.

The teacher from the next class said, "Lao Liu, is this the special student in your class? She can't hear or speak, and she won't understand even if you gesture."

Finally, Liu Qinghua gave up and wrote to her in a notebook: "My last name is Liu, and I'm your homeroom teacher. I'll take you to the classroom now. The new classmates are all very friendly, so don't worry."

Qi Ying finally breathed a sigh of relief and nodded obediently.

Class 2, Grade 2, was at the end of the corridor. The first bell for the new semester had already rung. Liu Qinghua pushed the door open and the noisy class instantly quieted down. Dozens of pairs of eyes looked at the thin figure next to her.

Qi Ying subconsciously hid behind Liu Qinghua.

Liu Qinghua noticed her fear, held her hand and patted it gently, then brought her to the podium, "This is the classmate Qi Ying I mentioned to you. From now on, she will be a member of our Class 2. Qi Ying's situation is special, everyone should help her more and make friends with her. Come on, applaud and welcome her."

There was a burst of applause in the class.

Qi Ying looked at the uniform applause. Although she couldn't hear it, she knew it was a gesture of welcome to her, and a smile appeared on her face, which was pale due to nervousness.

The students in Class 2 clapped even more vigorously.

Qi Ying's new deskmate was a girl with baby fat and dimples named Yue Li. She stared at Qi Ying with round eyes, and as soon as Qi Ying sat down, she immediately extended her hand to show her friendliness.

Qi Ying shook hands with her. While Liu Qinghua was talking about the start of school, Yue Li took out the personal introduction she had written long ago and handed it to Qi Ying with excitement.

If this introduction were more neat and included work experience, it could be used as a resume.

Qi Yinglian knew how many people were in Yue Li's family, how many dogs they had, and whether they liked sweet or salty rice dumplings.

Her classmates followed suit, and Qi Ying basically spent the rest of the class meeting looking at resumes.

After class, the girls in the class asked Qi Ying to go to the toilet together.

When we were students, going to the bathroom together was a sign of the beginning of friendship.

Although Qi Ying did not need to relieve her bladder, her classmates were smiling and friendly, so she would not refuse their kindness and had to follow them.

The girls in Class 2 surrounded her as if she were a fragile object.

I go there and come back in a hurry, and in between I will chat with classmates from the next class.

"Is this the special student in your class?"

"Are you going to replace the most beautiful girl in your class?"

"She really can't hear anything?"

Within the morning, the news spread throughout the second grade of high school that a very beautiful deaf-mute girl had transferred to Class 2, and her father was a policeman who sacrificed his life for the people.

Even though the boys in Class 9, who were at the bottom of the class, had just had a fight with some troublesome students from other schools, and two of them had injuries on their faces, this did not stop them from participating in gossip.

Students went to Class 2 to check in one after another. After a while, Qu Dazhuang came back cursing, "Fuck, I didn't see anything. Those nerds in Class 2 blocked the windows with books. Is it that serious?"

Qu Dazhuang's original name was Qu Peng. He got the name because he was a sports student with a strong physique.

"Why not?" Liu Haiyang kicked him. "They are the children of martyrs! How can you just look at them casually?"

Qu Dazhuang said angrily: "It won't hurt to look at it."

There was a noisy voice outside the corridor, "I have photos of special classmates here! Who wants to see them?"

The classroom was filled with people saying, "I want to see it! Let me see it!"

In the corner by the window in the last row, a boy leaning over his desk seemed to be disturbed. Without even raising his head, he kicked forward suddenly, and the stools in the front row fell to the ground with two clangs. The classroom suddenly became quiet.

Qu Dazhuang made a gesture to Liu Haiyang to keep quiet.

Even the group of teenagers who followed him were silent, not to mention the other students, who kept their mouths shut without daring to make a sound.

After a while, a cold voice sounded in the air: "Is it glorious?"

Qu Dazhuang looked confused: "What? What do you want me to say?"

The boy who was lying on the desk finally raised his head. His black eyes were like knives under his messy hair. When he looked at people, it was like a knife passing through. However, he raised a scoundrel smile at the corner of his lips, "I say, is it glorious to sacrifice for the people?"

I've been with Ji Rang for so long, and if I don't notice that he's in a bad mood now, it would be all in vain.

No one dared to answer.

Ji Rang smiled silently and lay back on the desk.

Until school was over, the back row of the classroom, which was usually noisy, became as quiet as a chicken. Even the teacher was wondering why these bad students were so obedient today.

As soon as the school bell rang, Luo Bing from Class 8 rushed in and said, "Brother Rang! That kid named Li just reported to me that a freshman in Grade 10 called you a bastard!"

Ji Rang was still lying there with no reaction, but several people around him could no longer sit still.

"Fuck? Which idiot is so crazy?"

"Fuck him!"

"If they don't fight for a day, they will tear down the roof. This class of freshmen is really crazy."

Ji Rang stood up lazily, picked up his school uniform and put it on his shoulders, "Take the person to Xita Lane."

Luo Bing received the order and turned around and ran away.

On the first day of school, there were actually not many classes. I was basically collecting homework, distributing new books, and adjusting seats. I only had one Chinese class and one math class in the afternoon.

Qi Ying was illiterate before, and after entering the general's mansion, she only learned to write her own name. Now with the memories of this body, she suddenly became a well-educated person, and was flattered.

The original owner had good grades and was ranked in the top ten in the grade. Qi Ying looked at the formulas and graphs in the math textbook and miraculously understood their meaning.

Although I couldn't hear the teacher's lecture, I still carefully copied the notes on the blackboard.

She knew that people of all ages liked educated people, and now that she finally had the opportunity to go to school and enjoy the same equality and freedom as boys, she must cherish it.

Yue Li, who had filled the entire note with dense writing, felt as if she had been killed instantly when she saw Qi Ying's notebook.

Feeling ashamed of herself, she passed a note to Qi Ying: Yingying, your notes are so organized, can I borrow them to copy?

Qi Ying felt that she had probably inherited this body's talent for learning as well, so she generously lent her the notebook.

Yu Zhuo came to pick her up after school.

Qi Ying waved and greeted the classmates around her one by one before finally stepping out of the classroom with her schoolbag on her back.

As soon as they reached the school gate, Yu Zhuo's buddy Yang Xinyuan ran up to them, panting and saying, "I just heard that Ji Rang brought people to block you, you better leave now!"

Yu Zhuo: "Which Ji Rang?"

Yang Xinyuan: "You called him a bastard! The school bully of Haicheng No. 1 Middle School!"

Yu Zhuo's face changed. It wasn't because he was afraid of this legendary school bully, but Qi Ying was following him now. If Qi Ying lost a hair, he would be skinned alive by his father.

Not far away, Luo Bing and his men were walking towards them aggressively.

Yu Zhuo pushed Qi Ying to Yang Xinyuan's side and said, "Take my sister to the Qilixiang milk tea shop first. I'll come find you later."

The owner of the Qilixiang milk tea shop is a fan of Jay Chou. No matter when you go to the store, you can hear Jay Chou's songs.

Yang Xinyuan bought a cup of milk tea for Qi Ying and waited anxiously.

Yu Zhuo still hadn't come back until Qi Ying finished the cup of milk tea, not even a single pearl was left.

He remembered that Ji Rang had beaten a senior student into the hospital last semester, and he could no longer sit still. He typed a message to Qi Ying asking her to stay here and not walk around, and then ran out to find Yu Zhuo.

Although Qi Ying didn't know what had happened, she knew from his words and expressions that the situation was not good. Thinking of Yu Zhuo's reaction just now, she thought that he must have encountered some trouble and couldn't help but worry.

After thinking about it, I got up and went to find him.

Xita Lane is just behind the school.

Yu Zhuo faced a group of people on the opposite side alone, and he was not at all inferior. He was a bully in junior high school, and he practiced Taekwondo since he was a child. He had fought at least 80 fights, if not a hundred. He really didn't take this school bully from Haiyi seriously.

He walked towards the station nonchalantly and asked in a very annoying way: "Are we going together or one by one?"

Public outrage!

Qu Dazhuang rolled up his sleeves and yelled, "Stop being crazy, you won't even have time to cry for your parents!"

A group of people were about to rush over to beat him up, and a cold voice came into the air: "Get out of the way."

Yu Zhuo looked at the boy, who was a head taller than him, lazily walking forward from the crowd. He half-raised his eyelids, not sure whether to smile or not, and asked him, "Yu Zhuo, right?"

Yu Zhuo sneered: "It's me, your grandfather."

Ji Rang hooked his finger at him: "Come."

Yu Zhuo raised his fist and rushed forward.

He has never suffered a loss in a one-on-one fight.

As a result, his punch missed, and almost instantly, he felt a pain in his lower abdomen and was almost knocked over by Ji Rang's knee.

Yu Zhuo thought to himself, damn it, I underestimated my enemy and met a master.

The two were about to fight again when suddenly a commotion broke out in the quiet alley, followed by a dozen people running out from the corner, some holding sticks and some holding bricks.

Qu Dazhuang cursed: "Fuck, you even set up an ambush!"

Yu Zhuo shouted: "He's not mine!"

Qu Dazhuang looked carefully and found that they were the troublemakers from the third middle school next door who had been dealt with by them this morning.

While they are fighting, we take advantage of the situation to launch a sneak attack.

The duel turned into a group fight, and Yu Zhuo looked so innocent standing in the middle.

It's wrong to hit anyone.

Just start watching the game.

Ji Rang's attack was really ruthless, and it was obvious that he had practiced martial arts, and his punches were sharp and swift, and blood could be drawn. But Ji Rang came to stop him this time, and he didn't bring many people with him, nor did he bring any tools. The other party relied on their numbers and weapons to be very arrogant.

Yu Zhuo thought, after all, they were from the same school, should he lend a hand?

Just as he was thinking about it, a short man holding a steel rod suddenly rushed over while Ji Rang was facing the other two with his back turned, and swung the steel rod down to smash him. Yu Zhuo shouted, "Be careful!"

Just as he finished speaking, a figure flashed by the corner of his eye. Before he could react, the person rushed behind Ji Rang and took the blow for him.

When he saw who the person was, Yu Zhuo broke out in a cold sweat.

"Sister!" He rushed forward with a rage, and kicked the little girl who attacked him away, "Fuck you!"

Ji Rang turned around suddenly and hugged the limp body behind him.

A light sweet scent can be smelled at the tip of the nose.

I lowered my head and met a pair of tearful eyes, which seemed to be filled with moonlight and starlight.

She called him silently: "General."
