Chapter 20 of The Little Fairy Who Became a Boss

Chapter 20

Ji Rang wore a pair of black sweatpants today.

These trousers have no pockets.

The atmosphere was awkward for a moment. The boy who had been fierce just now suddenly felt a little helpless. He hesitated and said under Qi Ying's expectant gaze: "Can I give it to you tomorrow?"

She also noticed that he didn't bring any candy today, so she nodded obediently.

The bus stopped at the stop, and students rushed to get on. Qi Ying waved at him and got on the bus. Ji Rang couldn't stand the smell on the bus, so he covered his nose and took two steps back.

Seeing Qi Ying swiping the card, he stood on tiptoe to reach the handrail.

A second before the bus door closed, he stretched out his long legs and jumped on.

The already crowded carriage became even more crowded, as everyone stepped back, and the door suddenly became loose. Qi Ying was also squeezed to the middle by the crowd.

He frowned even more and was about to walk back, but the driver said, "Swipe the card."

Ji Rang paused, looked across the crowd at Qi Ying's face, and said with a half smile, "Who can help me swipe the card?"

The students in the bus looked at each other in bewilderment. The boss had spoken, and no one dared to ignore him. Several students in the front row silently held out their bus cards.

Ji Rang didn't answer, but just looked at Qi Ying.

She finally saw him through the gap. Her little face, which had been wrinkled due to the crowd, suddenly brightened up. She squeezed out of the crowd with difficulty, and ran to him staggeringly, holding the bus card.

Ding, student card.

The car turned a corner and tilted. She hurriedly reached for the handrail, but Ji Rang put his arms around her from behind and grabbed the handrail, almost holding her in his arms.

She swayed and bumped into his arm, finally steadying herself.

After thinking for a moment, she used his sleeve as a handrail and held on tightly with both hands.

Ji Rang's T-shirt was pulled askew by her.

He looked out the window and raised the corners of his mouth.

The students in the car who were watching this scene silently: "…………"

Aren't you here just to pick up girls? Why are you pretending to ask us for a bus pass?

Qi Ying had to take the bus for half an hour, and Ji Rang's face turned paler with each stop.

The guy who had never taken a bus before got carsick.

The students next to him didn't know the truth. They only saw that the big guy's face was getting uglier and uglier, and his brows were getting more and more furrowed. They thought he was dissatisfied with not having a seat, so they stood up with their schoolbags, stammering, "Ji... Ji classmate, give, give, give, give, I give you a seat..."

Ji Rang gritted his teeth, trying hard to suppress the sour feeling in his stomach, and pressed Qi Ying, who was staggering in his arms, down on the seat.

He felt like he was about to vomit.

I don’t want Qi Ying to see it.

As soon as the next stop came, I rushed out the front door.

Qi Ying didn't react, she groaned silently, and looked out of the car window with her little hands. Ji Rang stood below with his body tensed, waving at her expressionlessly.

Qi Ying also waved.

The bus slowly drove away. He didn't turn around until he was sure Qi Ying couldn't see him. He rushed to a nearby trash can and vomited while holding onto a tree trunk.

damn it.

Almost vomited bile.

Two girls passing by, wearing the red uniform of No. 4 Middle School, looked at him for a long time, whispering to each other. After he finished vomiting, one of the girls with delicate looks immediately stepped forward, handed him a tissue and a bottle of water, and asked softly, "Classmate, are you okay?"

Ji Rang leaned forward, his hair brushing his eyelids, and raised his hand to scrape the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand, "Get lost."

The girl was stunned, her face turned red with shame and anger, and she turned around and ran back to her companions.

Ji Rang stood up and walked towards the convenience store next to him with a blank expression. As he walked away, he could still hear the girl crying to her companions: "What kind of person is this! He is so vicious!"

Qi Ying did not leave the house during the weekend and reviewed all the new knowledge she had learned. Although she could not hear the teacher's lectures, her deskmate Yue Li, who was the study committee member sitting in the back row, was also diligent and hardworking. After each class, she would combine their notes to organize her own knowledge points and basically did not fall behind in the course.

Qi Ying was prepared for the exam, but Yu Zhuo didn't take it seriously. After finishing his weekend homework, he played as much as he wanted. Wu Yinghua started to scold him as soon as he saw him. Yu Zhuo was so annoyed that he hid in Qi Ying's room and played games on his sister's bed.

When I took the pillow to support my head, I saw a strawberry candy under the pillow.

He grabbed it, peeled it and ate it.

It was not until dinner time that Qi Ying, who had just finished reading a book, saw the pink candy wrapper in the trash can.

She quickly ran to the bed, picked up the pillow and took a look.

Empty.

I was almost crying with anger.

The next day, when Yu Zhuo tried to sneak into her room again, Qi Ying refused to open the door.

School started on Monday, and probably because the exams would begin after the morning self-study, the students were more listless than usual on Mondays. Qi Ying was so nervous that her palms were sweating. When she arrived in the classroom, she saw a candy on her desk.

The classmates around me looked normal.

He must have placed it on her seat before everyone arrived in the classroom.

The nervousness disappeared a lot because of the candy. Qi Ying carefully put the strawberry candy in her pencil case. As soon as the morning self-study was over, she went to her examination room with the pencil case.

The exam numbers of Haiyi were arranged according to grade scores. The later the exam room, the worse the score. Because Qi Ying was a transfer student, her score was not available before, so she was ranked last in the school.

The examination room was in the old teaching building at the northernmost end. Yue Li had accompanied her to see the examination room last Friday, so she found it easily. When she entered, there were only four or five people sitting in the examination room, some lying down and some lying on their backs, and no one was taking the exam properly.

Qi Ying's seat was in the last row, near the garbage dump.

She found a seat, sat down, put away her admission ticket and pencil case, and opened the Chinese textbook she had brought with her.

People came in one after another.

The students at the bottom of the grade were all gathered in this classroom, fighting, jumping and making noise, and they didn’t look like they were here to take the exam at all.

The boy who was across the aisle from Qi Ying lifted his AJ-clad feet and kicked her chair, then asked with a grin, "Hey, transfer student, stand your test paper upright so I can copy the multiple-choice questions."

Qi Ying's chair was kicked crooked by him, so she had to stand up and straighten it.

As soon as he sat down, the boy kicked him again, "Hey, stop ignoring me."

The girl in front of him couldn't stand it any longer: "That's a special student from Class 2, she can't hear you, why are you yelling at her!"

The boy suddenly realized: "Oh, that deaf-mute person." He took out a discarded draft paper from the desk and passed a note to Qi Ying: Classmate, can you lend me your test paper to copy later?

Qi Ying glanced at the note, pursed her lips, and shook her head seriously at him.

The boy laughed at her serious rejection and kicked her chair again: "You are so noble."

Qi Ying's chair was kicked crooked three times by him, and no matter how good-tempered she was, she couldn't stand it. But she couldn't speak and couldn't scold him, so she stood up angrily and kicked his chair.

The boy was not angry. He was amused by her action: "You kicked me?" He patted his thigh and said, "Come on, kick here."

Just as he finished speaking, a figure flashed across the aisle and kicked him in the thigh, knocking the boy over immediately.

Not only that, he stepped on his knee.

The boy screamed like a pig being slaughtered, looking at Ji Rang in horror as he stood in front of him with an expressionless face, still exerting force on his feet.

He felt like his knees were about to break, and begged for mercy again and again: "Brother Rang, I was wrong, Brother Rang, Brother Rang..."

The invigilator walked in and yelled, "What are you doing? Sit down! The exam is about to start!"

Qi Ying was also startled by Ji Rang's sudden appearance. She felt that his eyes were very fierce and timidly reached out to pull at the corner of his clothes.

Ji Rang glanced at her, then retracted his foot, walked over to help her put the chair in place, and then walked back to his seat. He was actually sitting in the position in front of her.

I just walked to the door lazily, saw her, and didn't dare to go in.

After she saw me fighting and smoking, she also knew that I was ranked last in the school.

Ji Rang stood at the door and thought, he might as well not take the exam. He couldn't let her see him in this crappy exam room.

Then she saw that man bullying her.

She looks so cute even when she is angry.

He was so stupid that he even kicked someone else's chair.

The exam bell rang and the pre-exam rules began to be broadcast over the radio. The invigilator opened the sealed test paper bags on the stage and handed out the test papers one by one, passing them to the back.

Ji Rang took the last two test papers passed to him and turned around to hand them to Qi Ying.

I saw a candy on her admission ticket.

It was the one he sneaked into Class 2 very early in the morning and placed on her desk.

Fool, why don't you eat?

Still worshipping him?

He felt like laughing.

Qi Ying took the paper, smiled sweetly at him, and then started to do the questions using a blue whale pen.

He turned around, took out the pink whale pen from his trouser pocket, unscrewed the cap, and for the first time carefully and correctly wrote his name on the test paper.

Class 9, Grade 2, Ji Rang.

After writing my class and name, there was no more space left.

Not a damn thing.

What comes after "Look at the mountains all red, the forests all dyed red"? He knows there is a piece called "Qinyuanchun·Snow", but why the hell is there another one called "Qinyuanchun·Changsha"? Are there also "Qinyuanchun·Shanghai" and "Qinyuanchun·Beijing"?

What is the meaning of "Fishermen's boats sing at dusk, echoing all over the shore of Pengli"? What is the pronunciation of the word behind it?

Forget it, let’s just look at the multiple-choice questions.

Read the following passage from the classical Chinese text and complete the options.

Ji Rang: ...

Forget it, just choose C.

The exams that he used to think were long and boring actually went by so quickly when he started to work on the questions seriously. Before he even started writing the essay, the invigilator announced: There are still 20 minutes left before the end of the exam.

It was the last examination room in the school. No matter how much you cheated, it would be just so-so. The invigilator had already started reading a newspaper on the stage.

Qu Dazhuang threw a small piece of paper to Liu Haiyang. Liu Haiyang thought it was the answer and opened it excitedly. On it was a frightened expression with the words: Did you see Brother Rang? He actually worked hard on the questions for two hours! Did he study behind our backs?

Liu Haiyang: Probably not. I guess he was writing a short essay to curse the teacher.

Twenty minutes later, the bell rang and the exam was over. Ji Rang looked at his composition that filled the entire grid and smiled with satisfaction.

Qu Dazhuang ran over and asked excitedly: "Brother Rang, what did you write in your composition?"

Ji Rang: “My dream.”

Luo Bing turned around blankly: "What is your dream? Isn't the theme of this composition the Chinese Dream or the Space Dream?"

Ji Rang: “???”
