Chapter 26 of The Little Fairy Who Became a Boss

Chapter 26

History is much friendlier than mathematics and physics. At least he can understand every word and know what they mean when they are put together.

There were two history classes in the afternoon. As soon as the get out of class was over, Qi Ying ran to his seat and Ji Rang quickly closed his only class notebook.

Your disorganized class notes must not be seen by the history class representative!

She held a homework book in her hand and wrote on the blank space at the back: Will you take history class with me from now on?

Ji Rang thought to himself, it's not just history class, I also have to take geography and chemistry classes.

He tightened his lips, looked nonchalant, and nodded.

Qi Ying was so happy that the light in her eyes was brighter than the stars in the summer night. She took the pink whale pen he had placed beside her, bent down and wrote: Do you want to do homework together after school?

She was wearing a summer school uniform, a T-shirt with a small V-neck. There were two buttons on the collar, but the upper button was undone. Her neck was white and slender, and when she leaned over, a slight inch of her collarbone was exposed.

Ji Rang's previous pretended casualness broke down and he nodded almost in panic.

Qi Ying smiled sweetly at him and turned to go back to her seat, but Ji Rang grabbed her wrist. He frowned, looking fierce, and dragged her to the corner of the corridor where no one was.

Qi Ying blinked in confusion.

Ji Rang glared at her: "You're a girl, and you don't even wear your clothes properly!"

He roared fiercely, but his actions were gentle. He put his hands on her collar and buttoned the top button for her without looking away.

It's over, he raised his eyebrows in satisfaction.

Qi Ying was strangled to the point of being unable to breathe.

She was a transfer student and when she got her school uniform, there were no sizes available, only small and large sizes. Luckily, she was thin, so she could wear the small size, but the neckline was a bit tight, so she had to unbutton a button.

Ji Rang was still happy with his lips raised: "Okay, let's go back to class."

The aggrieved Qi Ying had to pull the collar with her hands to prevent her neck from being squeezed so tightly. Halfway through the class, she couldn't stand it anymore and secretly looked back at Ji Rang.

He was concentrating on taking notes.

He quickly unbuttoned his clothes and let out a long breath.

After class, the history teacher assigned them homework and asked them to do the review paper of today's unit.

Ji Rang: Unit rolling review paper? What the hell is that?

Now the homework assigned by the teacher is either a test paper made by himself or after-class tutoring materials. Student Ji has not attended class for 800 years, and there is no after-class tutoring material.

Qi Ying is still waiting for him to do homework together!

Ji Rang quickly sent a message to Wu Rui: Where can I buy the unit review roll? Is there anything else?

It’s a pity that the top student in the grade basically turned off his cell phone except during lunch time and when he went home from school, so he didn’t receive any help from him at all.

Ji Rang could only watch Qi Ying running towards him happily, waiting for him with an expectant look on her face.

Boss Ji waited for a long time and finally accepted his fate. He used his mobile phone to type to lie to Qi Ying: The review paper has been lost.

She didn't doubt it and replied to him: I'll accompany you to buy a new one.

So the two of them set out to the bookstore.

There are several large bookstores near the school, and there are also small bookstores selling tutoring materials at the entrance. Qi Ying had been there with Yue Li before and was very familiar with this area, so she took Ji Rang to her favorite store.

This store not only sells books, but also a variety of study tools, including beautiful notebooks, cute writing pens, pencil case ornaments, stickers, and so on.

Most of the people shopping in this store are girls. As soon as Ji Rang came in, he immediately attracted the attention of everyone in the store.

Qi Ying was still happily helping him find tutoring books, and Ji Rang followed her with a cold look on his face, scaring away those stares.

The commonly used tutoring materials were placed in a prominent position, making them easy to find. Ji Rang scanned the books and found that there were also books for other subjects, and he was considering whether to choose a few.

Qi Ying saw what he meant, and didn't know whether he really believed that he had lost his tutoring book, or knew the truth that he had never studied it, so she helped him pick out the necessary tutoring materials for other subjects.

Ji Rang went to pay, carrying a pile of test papers that smelled heavily of paper and ink.

After paying, he put the books one by one into his schoolbag. With so many books, the schoolbag was a little small, so he thought about buying a bigger one when he had time.

Outside, Qu Dazhuang and his group passed by.

Luo Bing saw him with sharp eyes, and her eyes almost popped out: "Isn't that Brother Rang? What is he doing there?!"

Ji Rang was still packing books.

The group looked at him as if they had seen a ghost.

Qu Dazhuang screamed: "Fuck, I'm really going to start studying?"

Ji Rang filled a bag with books and lifted it up to feel the weight.

Liu Haiyang looked at him solemnly and said, "What do you know? This must be a new type of fighting tool. Let me ask you, if that schoolbag is thrown at you, can you withstand it? And if the teacher or the police come over, they are holding knives, guns, sticks and clubs, while I am holding a tutorial book, who is right?"

The group immediately stood in awe.

The boss is worthy of being the boss!

Ji Rang didn't notice the circle of admiring eyes on the roadside outside the store. He pretended to be well and turned around to look for Qi Ying. He saw her standing in the area with study tools, choosing pens and notebooks.

He only has one notebook, which was given to him as a gift when he bought a car magazine last year. He has been using it as a class notebook these days and has written everything on it.

He thought he had hidden it well and Qi Ying hadn't seen the contents, but Qi Ying saw him with the same notebook several times and figured out what was going on after a little thought.

Ji Rang walked over carrying his schoolbag.

Qi Ying had already selected a box of black 0.5 pen refills and two pink pen cases for him. Perhaps because she had misunderstood the pink whale pen during class, she picked and chose and finally handed him a notebook with a pink cover and floating balloons.

The big eyes blinked, as if saying: This looks good.

Ji Rang answered it silently.

She picked out a cover with a pink bear and a white bear sitting side by side and handed it over.

Ji Rang answered again.

The two attempts made Qi Ying more confident in his aesthetic taste.

So the boss got a dozen pink-covered notebooks.

I did my homework in the same dessert shop as last time.

Qi Ying knew that this store was doing good business, so she went straight to the counter after entering. She first pointed at the strawberry pudding, then at the chocolate Black Forest, which she had never eaten before, and looked at the clerk and asked: Do you have any more of this?

The clerk glanced at Ji Rang who was standing next to him.

Ji Rang pretended not to know the clerk was looking at him, and said with his head down, "Sell them all to her."

The clerk finally breathed a sigh of relief and nodded to Qi Ying with a smile.

The two of them were doing their homework while eating dessert.

Ji Rang opened the brand new tutorial test paper, took a look at it, glanced at it, and began to feel a headache.

I thought I only needed to remember the contents of the book, why do I need to analyze it in conjunction with historical events? Aren’t we learning about the Industrial Revolution and capitalism today? Why does the question ask what major events China was experiencing during the same period?

How would he know where to go?

Very irritable.

He looked up at Qi Ying.

She was poking the blueberries on the Black Forest with a fork.

The blueberries were smooth and hard, and they embedded into the soft cream on the surface of the cake with just a little force. I poked them for a long time, but not only did they not come out, they were all sunk into the cake.

Qi Ying frowned.

Ji Rang couldn't help it, he supported his eyebrows with his fingers, tilted his head, and laughed while covering his face.

Damn, why is he so well behaved?

Fortunately, Qi Ying couldn't hear it. She held her laughter together, reached across the table, took the fork from her hand, pointed it at the cake from the bottom, and somehow she forked the blueberries so easily.

He handed over the fork with blueberries on it.

Qi Ying looked at him happily, lowered her head, opened her mouth and ate.

Ji Rang's hand froze in mid-air, his pupils slightly dilated.

He just wanted to hand her the fork.

I didn't mean to feed you!

What’s wrong with this little girl? She flirts without giving any response?

The girl who had flirted with him without realizing it had already returned to her homework. Unlike him, after reading the question once, he tilted his head and pondered for a few seconds before choosing the correct answer.

Ji Rang withdrew his hand angrily.

I am still too thin-skinned!
