Chapter 46 of The Little Fairy Who Became a Boss

Chapter 46

The class bell rang.

Qi Ying took advantage of the situation and tried to run, but Ji Rang put out his hand to block her. She crashed into his strong arms. Ji Rang held her back and pressed her against the wall.

He supported himself against the wall with one hand and pinched her soft face with the other: "Still want to run?"

There were still students rushing up the stairs to the classroom, and they were shocked by the scene. Qi Ying also heard someone shouting in the corridor: "Come and see, there is someone doing a wall-bang here!"

She was so embarrassed that she couldn't push Ji Rang anymore and her face turned red.

Ji Rang yelled at her: "Tell me! How are you going to compensate me?"

The second time the bell rang, it was like a death warrant.

Qi Ying was so anxious that she stood on tiptoe and gave him a quick suck on his left cheek without thinking.

Then the boss was stunned, and Qi Ying took the opportunity to push his hand away and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

After a long while, he seemed to come back to his senses and raised his hand to touch his face. The place where she sucked was still slightly wet. His heart was beating so fast that it seemed to jump out of his throat in the quiet corridor.

He cursed under his breath: "Fuck."

After cursing, he didn't even notice that the corners of his lips curled up.

When I returned to the classroom, the Chinese teacher was handing out test papers. There was a lot of noise. Qu Dazhuang compared his paper with his and shouted, "How did Rangge write 800 words? Does he have a hidden chatterbox attribute?"

I looked up and saw Ji Rang walking in with a mysterious smile on his face. I asked curiously, "Brother Rang, what are you so happy about?"

Ji Rang reached out and took his paper and sat down: "Nothing."

Qu Dazhuang: "Nothing, why are you laughing so happily?"

Ji Rang: "Did I laugh?"

Qu Dazhuang: “???”

The examination papers for each subject were handed out one after another. Ji Rang lost points on the more complicated and difficult questions, but he had no problem with the general basic questions.

Even Qu Dazhuang's group's scores improved to some extent, and the average score of Class 9 was finally no longer the last in the grade.

This made Liu Yao very happy. He even called Ji Rang to his office and praised him. Finally, he asked him with a gratified look on his face, "Are you interested in being a study committee member to supervise your classmates' studies?"

Ji Rang: “Not interested.”

Liu Yao: "What about the squad leader?"

Ji Rang: “???”

Seeing that he was rejecting her, Liu Yao did not force her. He took out his information and pointed to the column for the parent's phone number and asked, "Did you fill in this number randomly? I have never been able to call you since the first year of high school. Your grades have improved so much now. I want to talk to your parents. Cooperation between the school and your parents will be more conducive to your studies."

Ji Rang's nonchalant expression darkened, and he said calmly, "No need."

Liu Yao frowned and looked at him, as if he had guessed something. He sighed and said, "How much hatred can a child have against his parents? They all hope for the best for you. Communicate with them more. No matter how big the conflict is..."

Ji Rang interrupted him impatiently: "If there's nothing else, I'll leave."

After saying this, he turned around and left the office without waiting for Liu Yao to react.

Liu Yao looked at the boy's cold back and sighed helplessly. Then he thought of something and took out his cell phone to make a call: "Hello, Principal Zhou, this is Liu Yao. Yes, I just want to ask you, do you know the parents of Ji Rang in our class? I want to contact his parents to talk about his grades, but I can't get in touch with them."

Liu Yao looked a little surprised when he heard what was said on the other end: "Is that so?" He paused and said, "Okay, then please send me his father's phone number and I'll contact him."

Soon Liu Yao received a phone number from the principal and dialed it.

Since it was a private number, the person in question answered the call directly and asked in a deep voice, "Hello?"

Liu Yao said, "Excuse me, are you Mr. Ji? I am your son Ji Rang's class teacher. My last name is Liu."

He paused, even his breathing became heavy: "I am, did something happen to Ji Rang?"

Liu Yao quickly said, "No, no, he's fine. I contacted you just to talk to you about the child's academic performance. Although most of the learning tasks are supervised by the school and teachers, the parents' part also has a very important influence on the student's growth. Ji Rang is in a very stable state now and is making rapid progress. I hope that you parents can cooperate with us and jointly supervise his progress."

No one spoke on the phone for a long time.

Liu Yao called out to him twice in a strange tone. The man on the other end seemed to have just come to his senses, and his deep voice trembled slightly: "I'm sorry, Mr. Liu, do you mean that Ji Rang has made great progress?"

Liu Yao said happily, "Yes, he ranked among the top 300 in the final exam this semester. At the beginning of this semester, he was the last in the school. Even our teachers found this improvement incredible. But this child is smart and is willing to work hard. There is still a year and a half left. If he can keep up the pace, I believe he can achieve excellent results in the college entrance examination."

The person on the other end of the line breathed heavily for a long time, then said in a deep voice, "I understand. Thank you, Teacher Liu. If you need any cooperation from me, please feel free to contact me. This is my private number."

Liu Yao felt that Ji Rang's father was easy to communicate with, and wondered why the child didn't even want to mention it. After chatting for more than ten minutes, when it was almost over, Liu Yao took out the information and said, "By the way, Mr. Ji, I want to ask, which parent owns the number 180xxxx? This is the parent contact number Ji Rang left when he enrolled, and no one answered every time I called."

The other end paused and whispered, "That's his mother's number."

"Then why is no one answering?"

"His mother died many years ago."

Liu Yao was silent for a moment: "Sorry, Mr. Ji."

He smiled and said, "It's okay. It's hard for Teacher Liu to take care of this child."

“It should be.”

The rest of the tutoring time was basically spent on reviewing the test papers.

Even the piles of homework couldn't stop the students from being excited about the winter break. When the bell rang for the last class, many classes shouted excitedly, "It's vacation time!"

Students carrying backpacks rushed out of the school like wild horses and started their vacation.

Because of the heavy school bags and heavy homework, many parents drove to pick up their children. Yu Cheng had already told Yu Zhuo and Qi Ying not to take the bus and wait for him to pick them up.

The school gate was jammed with cars and people everywhere, and there were traffic police directing traffic. Yu Zhuozheng looked around, but he couldn't find his father's car, but he unexpectedly found Ji Qian.

After all, she was driving a red Ferrari, which made her stand out among a crowd of ordinary cars.

Yu Zhuo saw her first and hesitated whether to go over and say hello. But Ji Qian was used to maintaining a cool image in the outside environment. She wore a high-end suit and sunglasses, and looked a little cold and indifferent.

If she ignores me, it would be very hurtful to my self-esteem.

So he pretended not to see her and walked forward with his schoolbag. Ji Qian happened to turn his head and was stunned for a moment. He took off his sunglasses and called him with a smile: "Hey, kid, what a coincidence."

Yu Zhuo then stopped, a little tense unconsciously: "Are you here to pick up Ji Rang?"

Ji Qian smiled and nodded: "Yes." She glanced at his bulging schoolbag and asked him: "Is the schoolbag heavy? Why don't you get in the car first, wait for Ji Rang to come out, and I'll drive you back."

Yu Zhuo shook his head: "No need, my dad is here to pick me up."

Ji Qian understood. When she smiled, she no longer looked cold. The Ji family had good genes. One Ji and one Ji Qian were both scourges to the country and the people.

Yu Zhuo was a little afraid to look at her face, and stammered, "Then...then I'll leave."

Ji Qian nodded, and then thought of something and asked him, "Kid, has Ji Rang been doing well in school recently?"

Yu Zhuo thought about it for a moment and nodded, as he had indeed rarely seen him fighting.

Ji Qian's eyes were full of smiles, and she couldn't help but speak with pride: "I heard from his class teacher that his grades have improved a lot this semester, and he even ranked 280th in the grade in the final exam."

Yu Zhuo didn't know where the desire to compare came from: "I ranked 190th."

Ji Qian was stunned, then burst out laughing: "Yeah, you are also amazing." She smiled meaningfully, "You two encourage each other and make progress together, which is great."

Yu Zhuo: “…”

Why does something seem wrong?

The traffic policeman came over with a traffic stick and said, "Come on, drive a little over this way."

Ji Qian waved at Yu Zhuo and said, "Little boy, if you have time during the winter vacation, you can come to our house with Ji Rang to play. My grandpa and uncle will definitely like you very much."

Ji Qian drove away, leaving Yu Zhuo alone and disheveled in the wind.

Who the hell wants Ji Rang’s grandpa and dad to like him?

Miss, did you misunderstand something?

Students came out one after another. Ji Qian parked the car and called Ji Rang. After two rings, someone knocked on the car window. Ji Rang was standing outside with his phone in his hand, looking at her indifferently.

Ji Qian rolled down the window and said, "Come on up, we're not allowed to park here for long."

Ji Rang was impatient: "Why are you here again?"

Ji Qian glared at him: "What do you mean by 'again'? I've only been here twice this semester." She glanced at the heavy schoolbag in his hand and pretended to be surprised: "What's so heavy in your bag? Are you using bricks from a fight?"

Ji Rang didn't bother to pay attention to her: "If you have something to say, just say it."

Ji Qian smiled and said, "I heard that you did well in the exams this semester?"

Ji Rang's face darkened: "Who told you that?"

Ji Qian curled her lips and said, "I have 8,000 employees under me. How can I not find out about this little thing? You're so good, kid. I thought you were going to hang around until you graduate from high school."

Ji Rang rolled his eyes at her.

Ji Qian leaned against the car window and asked, "Why are you working so hard all of a sudden? Is it because of someone?"

Ji Rang was stunned for a moment, a hint of unnaturalness flashed across his face, and he said fiercely: "It has nothing to do with you!"

Ji Qian had been in the business world for so many years, and she was very good at reading people's expressions. She immediately noticed his strangeness. She understood, was a little touched and a little relieved, but didn't show it on her face. She casually asked him, "Are you going home for the New Year this year?"

Ji Rang's eyes turned cold, and he drooped his eyes with a hint of sarcasm: "Why should I go to someone else's house to celebrate the New Year?"

"What do you mean someone else's house?!" Ji Qian was immediately irritated: "That's your house!"

Ji Rang turned and left.

Ji Qian was so angry at him: "How can you turn against me so easily! Your grades have improved, can't your personality improve a little too?!"

Ji Rang didn't even turn his head, he strode away and soon disappeared in the crowd.

She was so angry that she took a long time to calm down, then took out her cell phone and called Ji Weiyan: "Hey, Second Uncle, I saw Arang."

"Well, did he agree?"

"No, he left as soon as I mentioned going home."

The other end sighed: "Forget it, take your time."

Ji Qian couldn't help but comfort him: "Second Uncle, don't be sad. Arang has begun to change now. He will grow up slowly and understand what you did back then..."

Ji Weiyan laughed: "Qianqian, I'm going to a meeting."

Ji Qian looked at the darkened screen of his mobile phone and sighed.

Winter vacation has begun.

Yu Zhuo was the type who would start catching up on homework when school was about to start. He would go out and have fun every day. Wu Yinghua was so angry that she scolded him at home every day, "Can you learn from your sister? Your sister ranked ninth in the grade and still goes to the library to study every day. When will you be half as sensible as your sister?!"

Yu Zhuo rolled his eyes and wished he could sell out his sister.

Is she studying in the library?

She is on a date!!!

Ji Rang waits for her in the library every day!

Under the pretext of studying, he was dating! He even used his pocket money to keep him quiet! If playing games in the Internet cafe wasn't too expensive, he wouldn't be bribed so easily!

The day before New Year's Eve, Ji Rang, who had never done winter vacation homework, had already finished all his homework.

Qi Ying finished writing a few days earlier than him. While he was doing the test papers, she was preparing for the content of the second semester of her senior year.

Very smart.

He is so proud.

When I came out of the library, it was snowing again.

"New Year's Day is coming soon. Don't come to the library tomorrow. Just spend the New Year with them at home." He lowered his head to tie the scarf for her, wrapping it around her in circles until it even covered her chin. The half of her face that was exposed looked cute and pretty.

She nodded.

Ji Rang smiled and patted her head: "Let's go home."

The two walked to the side of the street and were about to cross the road when a black Lincoln stopped nearby.

Ji Rang's face darkened, and the car window slowly rolled down. Ji Weiyan was sitting in the car, and he greeted him with a gentle smile: "A Rang." He then looked at Qi Ying beside him, "Is this your classmate?"

Ji Rang's tenderness towards Qi Ying just now disappeared, leaving only cold indifference: "What are you doing here?"

Ji Weiyan didn't mind his indifference at all: "I just finished a meeting and passed by here. When I saw you just now, I thought I was seeing things." He looked at Qi Ying: "It's snowing heavily, uncle, can I take you home?"

Ji Rang said coldly: "No need."

Qi Ying looked at the man in the car curiously.

Ji Rang pulled her wrist and turned to leave almost roughly.

Ji Weiyan whispered, "Arrang, tomorrow is New Year's Eve, go home and celebrate the New Year."

Ji Rang turned around abruptly, his eyes filled with a murderous anger that was colder than ice and snow: "Go home? Where do I have a home? Didn't you destroy my home with your own hands?!"

It was as if he had thorns all over his body, hurting everyone who got close to him.

Qi Ying's wrist was pinched so hard by him that it hurt.

But she did not struggle, she just tiptoed and gently touched the boy's head.

Ji Rang was stunned for a moment and woke up from his irritable mood.

He looked down at the little girl beside him. She smiled at him with her lips pursed, and gently patted his snow-covered hair.

As if to say: Don't be angry.

The hostility in the boy's eyes just faded away.

He put the hat on her, took her hand again, and whispered, "Don't be angry anymore, let's go."

He didn't look at Ji Weiyan again.

Qi Ying was led by him and walked a few steps. She looked back at the sad-looking man in the car and waved her hand obediently.

Ji Weiyan was stunned.

He smiled and waved to the little girl.
