"Sister, there seems to be some movement outside the wall." A faint sound of footsteps suddenly reached his ears, and Da Bao immediately became alert.
Chen Qingqing gestured for him to be quiet and handed him a crossbow. "Don't hurt anyone. Just give a warning if necessary."
"I understand." The two of them hid inside the house and looked out into the courtyard...
Just then, Liang Fugui and Erdanzi arrived outside the courtyard wall of Chen's Sugar Shop...
"Hurry up and finish this quickly," Liang Fugui whispered to him.
Erdanzi nervously swallowed hard. "Brother Fugui, I'm scared. Shall we go back?"
"Hurry up, or I'll kill you if you dare say another word!"
"Okay, I'm going in then."
Having no other option, Erdanzi had to use his hands to reach the top of the wall and his feet to push himself up as he struggled to climb.
He exerted tremendous effort and finally managed to get onto the top of the wall, but he dared not move rashly, craning his neck to look around...

Erdanzi was so frightened that he lost his mind. He let go of the wall and fell down, landing on his bottom and wincing in pain.

"You've already gone up there, so why are you coming down again?"
Erdanzi quickly shook his head and waved his hands, signaling him to keep his voice down, "Don't make a sound, someone's watching us!"
"Who's watching us in the middle of the night?"
