"Shut up!"
Xu Qingqing yelled at the man with a grim expression, threatening to cripple him if he dared to utter another word or try to stop her.
The man was frightened by Xu Qingqing's fierce gaze and immediately shut up.
Xu Qingqing squatted down and searched carefully, leaving no place unchecked, looking everywhere that could be used to stuff explosives.
When the flight attendant arrived, she saw Xu Qingqing's actions and immediately understood everything. Her heart tightened, and she also began searching.
The others, puzzled as to what they were looking for, watched as if it were a spectacle.
After a careful search, Xu Qingqing found the explosives under the seat and hid them discreetly in her clothes to avoid being seen by others.
He gave the flight attendant a wink, and then the two of them walked forward, leaving the rest of the group completely bewildered.
Those who already knew about it gradually calmed down after being reassured by the flight attendants. They realized the seriousness of the matter and nodded one by one, promising not to tell anyone and cause panic.
Carefully wrap the explosives and wait quietly for the train to arrive at the next station.
Police received the information and were already waiting at the bus stop. As soon as the train stopped, they rushed onto it.
A police officer carefully took the package from Xu Qingqing's hand, and after confirming that it contained real explosives, nodded to the captain.
"Captain, this contains real explosives!"
The captain looked grim and asked Xu Qingqing, "Comrade, we need to know the specifics. Please explain what happened, how you discovered the Japanese soldiers, and what about the explosives?"
Xu Qingqing felt a little embarrassed. She couldn't very well say that she had waited too long and, being petty, had decided to teach the other party a lesson, which led to the other party exposing her identity as a Japanese soldier.
Forcing a smile, Xu Qingqing said, "I accidentally bumped into him after I finished using the restroom, and then he fell down and said 'Baka!' That's when I realized he was a Japanese devil."
What kind of people are those Japanese devils? They're beasts!
I knew something was wrong when he ran away, and that's when I discovered the explosives in the bag.
The captain looked at Xu Qingqing suspiciously. She had clearly hesitated just now, and there must be something else going on.
"Comrade, please maintain your composure and do not conceal anything."
Xu Qingqing had no choice but to explain the reason, and everyone looked at her strangely.
What kind of person could be so petty?
Xu Qingqing gave a dry laugh and lowered her head, pretending not to see.
The captain knew Xu Qingqing needed to be educated for her behavior, but considering that she had inadvertently saved so many people, he only gave her a verbal reprimand and then left with his men.
Xu Qingqing smiled and saw them off. There was one more thing she didn't say: she meant what she said about wanting the Japanese to be childless and extinct.
She has an infertility elixir left by her ancestors in her space. She doesn't know why her ancestors did so much, but that doesn't stop it from being useful to her.
As a result, the country of Sakura was unable to produce offspring and eventually watched helplessly as its nation marched toward extinction.
*
The train has arrived at the station.
Xu Qingqing got out of the car with Bo Jingran and walked towards home.
Bo Jingran was extremely nervous on the way. His palms were sweating even in the cold weather. He was worried about meeting his father-in-law and what he would think of him for having taken his daughter away.
"Honey, what do you think of Dad's temper?"
Xu Qingqing thought for a moment and replied, "I would say I have a good temper, but it depends on who I'm talking to."
Bo Jingran chuckled dryly: "It depends on the person."
Xu Qingqing nodded: "Of course, would you give someone a nice face if you dislike them?"
Bo Jingran shook his head: "How could that be!"
Xu Qingqing shrugged and glanced at him sideways: "Isn't that it?"
Bo Jingran smiled bitterly, and could only face his father-in-law's difficulties with equanimity. After all, he had already married his wife, and his father-in-law was not going to beat him to death.
I knocked on the door, and heard footsteps coming from inside.
When Xu's father opened the door and saw Xu Qingqing, he immediately smiled. However, when he saw a man standing behind his daughter, his smile froze on his face.
A bad feeling welled up from the bottom of my heart.
Xu Qingqing introduced her boyfriend to her father with a smile: "Dad, let me formally introduce you. This is my boyfriend, Bo Jingran."
Bo Jingran quickly called out "Dad" to Xu's father.
The word "Dad" caught Xu's father off guard, leaving him frozen in place.
A bolt of lightning seemed to appear in the cloudless sky, striking Xu's father and leaving him charred and shiny.
After realizing what was happening, Xu's father gritted his teeth and said, "Bo Jingran, is it? Good! Very good!"
Bo Jingran smiled, taking it as a compliment from Xu's father.
Xu's father entered the house with a dark face, called Bo Jingran to the study, and Xu Qingqing gave Bo Jingran a "good luck" look before returning to her own room.
Bo Jingran was on the verge of tears, took a deep breath, and followed Xu's father upstairs.
After an unknown amount of time, Bo Jingran, his face bruised and swollen, limped out of the study.
Xu's father snorted behind him and slammed the door shut.
Bo Jingran relaxed. Just as he had guessed, Xu's father had only given him a lecture and wouldn't do anything to him.
Xu Qingqing felt her room door being opened, revealing a horribly disfigured face. Upon seeing her, the face lit up.
"daughter in law!"
Xu Qingqing fell silent. She didn't want to admit that Bo Jingran's personality was simply not worthy of his face.
Bo Jingran asked in confusion, "Wife? What are you thinking about?"
Xu Qingqing looked at Bo Jingran's face and couldn't bear to look at him: "I just lament that God gave someone a flawless face, but forgot to give him the personality to match it."
Bo Jingran: "..."
He suspected that the person his wife was referring to was himself, but he had no proof.
Stop dwelling on it and look around the bedroom. The furnishings are simple: a bed, a cabinet, and a desk.
That doesn't seem like a typical daughter-in-law's personality.
Looking at the time, Bo Jingran realized that lunchtime was approaching. He went to the kitchen and was surprised to see Xu's father cooking.
Mr. Xu glanced at him: "What? You're surprised I can cook?"
Bo Jingran immediately shook his head. He was indeed a little surprised that Xu's father could cook. After all, there was a lot of male chauvinism in this era, and people would talk if they found out.
Xu's father could tell what he was thinking just by looking at him, and snorted coldly: "Alright, I know what you're thinking. You think it's shameful for a grown man to cook? You look down on him?"
Bo Jingran felt a tightness in his chest at Xu's father's words, as if a storm was brewing for him if he was not satisfied with what Xu's father said next.
Bo Jingran's expression remained unchanged as he said seriously, "Dad, I don't think there's anything shameful about a man cooking for his family. On the contrary, I really enjoy cooking for my wife. Seeing her enjoy the food I make gives me a great sense of accomplishment."
Xu's father snorted, seemingly satisfied, and muttered, "You're a smart kid."
He then ignored Bo Jingran and focused on cooking for his daughter.
Bo Jingran breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "Dad, let me lend you a hand."
"Who's your father? I haven't acknowledged you as my father," Xu's father retorted angrily.
Bo Jingran smiled even more brightly, repeatedly calling out "Dad".
"Dad, are you going to make shredded potatoes?"
"Dad, what should we do about this?"
"Dad, do you think I cut it correctly?"
"dad……"
"Shut up!!!"
