After observing for a moment, Qin Gong'an took out the iron shovel he had prepared the day before and began digging at the protruding area. The others followed him.
Xu Qingqing, with her hands empty, simply squatted to the side, propping her chin up with her hand and watching them.
Because of the heavy rain that had fallen overnight, the land was well-hydrated, making it easy for Qin Gong's team to dig. They dug a one-meter-wide pit in no time.

Police Chief Qin told Xiao Liu to go up and walk with Xu Qingqing, and then report back to his superiors. Xiao Liu nodded, climbed up, and called out to Xu Qingqing.
"Comrade Xu, please don't throw it in there! It really hurts if it hits you!"
Xu Qingqing paused, but didn't turn around. She simply pointed ahead with the branch and said, "I hope you suffer. Do you see the pack of wolves ahead? I'll distract them. You quickly pull the others up and find a strong tree to climb."
Xiao Liu was instantly terrified and dared not move. When he looked in the direction Xu Qingqing was pointing, he immediately lost his composure, his eyes filled with fear, and he cried out, "My legs are weak!"
Xu Qingqing rolled her eyes and retorted without any politeness: "Then you can just wait to be torn to pieces by wolves. I'll definitely come back to your house for a feast then."
Xiao Liu was on the verge of tears. He didn't want to experience the feeling of being torn apart at all, so he gritted his teeth and overcame his fear.
The others in the pit noticed that something was wrong up above, and that Xu Qingqing had mentioned wolves, so they took out the iron shovels they had prepared for self-defense.
Xu Qingqing picked up a thick branch from the ground, broke off a knot, held it in her hand, stretched her body, took a deep breath, and shouted at the alpha wolf:
