Chapter 9 Pan Ling's face was disfigured

Bo Jingran frowned: "Jiang Wei, this is Pan Ling's fault. She stole Qingqing's things and didn't report her to the police for theft. Why should Qingqing compensate her?"

Where does this logic come from? Victims should compensate perpetrators?

Jiang Wei's face was grim and displeased: "Bo Jingran, do you know what impact reporting this to the police will have on us educated youth?! What's wrong with everyone taking a step back?"

"So you can order me around like that? Who gave you that right? What if I call the police? What can you do about it?"

Xu Qingqing was disgusted by Jiang Wei to the core. He wanted her to pay Pan Ling compensation? Dream on!

Jiang Wei was furious. Xu Qingqing's unyielding attitude had completely enraged him. He said with a gloomy face, "Xu Qingqing, do you think that if this gets out, it won't affect you?"

“Yes, Jiang Wei is right, we can’t report this to the police.”

“That’s right, Xu Qingqing, you can’t be so selfish.”

The group surrounded Xu Qingqing, trying to pressure her.

Bo Jingran used his frail body to shield Xu Qingqing behind him, watching them warily to prevent them from harming her.

Xu Qingqing rarely thought highly of Bo Jingran, but she was surprised to find that he was actually quite a nice person, and her opinion of him changed slightly.

He grabbed Bo Jingran and looked at the others with a chilling gaze: "You all better think this through. This is Pan Ling's fault, her personal responsibility. What reason do you have to pin it on all of us? You should know that although my fist is small, it is stronger than all of you combined."

The others exchanged glances, unsure of what to do.

Pan Ling then stepped forward, knelt in front of Xu Qingqing, and cried, "Xu Qingqing, I was wrong. I deserve it. I don't want your compensation. Please don't report this to the police. If this gets out of hand, it won't be good for anyone."

Pan Ling's words were ambiguous; she didn't admit to stealing anything, shifting the blame to Xu Qingqing, while crying so hard she almost fainted.

Xu Qingqing couldn't take it anymore; these guys were all idiots.

"Looks like I've been too good-natured, which has emboldened you," Xu Qingqing said, kicking Pan Ling away and looking at the others with a cool expression.

Everyone felt a chill run down their spines under Xu Qingqing's cold gaze, and for a moment no one dared to speak.

Xu Qingqing pulled her gaze back and led Bo Jingran outside.

Bo Jingran felt a sweet warmth in his heart. He secretly squeezed Xu Qingqing's soft little hand a couple of times. He liked it so much that he squeezed it a few more times.

Xu Qingqing: "..."
