After the false alarm, the two returned to the steel mill.
After sitting down, Xu Qingqing had nothing to do, so she slumped onto the table out of boredom and simply closed her eyes and fell asleep.
I woke up and shook my numb arms, which were still tingling from lack of blood flow. I hadn't slept very well. I glanced at my watch and realized I'd only been asleep for a short while.
After surveying her surroundings, Xu Qingqing stroked her chin, secretly calculating the distance and space to see if she could fit a recliner. After a rough estimate, she determined that there was just enough room to add another recliner.
That way, if she gets tired of sitting, she can lie down on the recliner and sleep, which is perfect.
"Sister Xu, what are you doing?" Yu Limei ran over and asked curiously.
Hearing the sound, Xu Qingqing looked at her. Looking at her cute face, her hands itched to rub it again. No sooner said than done.
So she stepped forward and roughly squeezed her little face. Yu Limei looked puzzled. Why did Sister Xu always touch her face like her mother? In her eyes, weren't we all the same?
She tried to rub her sister's face, but it was hard to rub because it had the same face shape as her father. The family members rubbed each of her sisters' faces one by one, but they still couldn't figure it out.
Xu Qingqing massaged it for a while, thoroughly enjoying herself. The feel was absolutely fantastic; her skin was smooth and tender, with the smoothness of tofu and the softness of a steamed bun. No, she wanted to massage it a few more times.
She then withdrew her hand with satisfaction and replied, "I plan to make a recliner and place it here, so that if I get tired, I can lie down and fall asleep without worrying about my hands or feet going numb or me sleeping uncomfortable."
Yulia's eyes lit up, and she shook Xu Qingqing's arm, pleading with her, "Sister Xu, can you order one for me too? I really want to lie down and sleep."
Xu Qingqing, worn down by her nagging, finally agreed. After all, it would only take her a little more time, and with her help, it wouldn't be a problem at all.
Yuli Mei was as happy as a child, jumping and skipping back to her post.
Xu Qingqing shook her head, and in a daze, she saw again how her dog friend used to fawn over her, just like Yu Limei now. Once she was happy, she couldn't help but get excited and jump around.
Thinking about it, I really do miss her. I wonder if she's doing well, if she's changed her infatuated nature, and how her other friends are doing now.
"Forget it," Xu Qingqing's eyes darkened, and she stopped thinking about them. She sighed and, taking advantage of the early hour, scribbled on the blueprints to see if she could design a folding recliner that would save space and be easy to place.
Before she knew it, she was revising and rewriting until noon. Yu Limei came over and patted the table. Xu Qingqing looked up in confusion and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Sister Xu, it's time to eat. If we don't leave now, the good food will be gone," Yu Limei reminded her.
Xu Qingqing was even more confused. The cafeteria was just a large pot of food, why would it be divided into first-come, first-served? Wouldn't it be the same whether you were early or late?
Yu Limei slapped her forehead. She had forgotten that when Sister Xu went to the capital, she didn't know that Chef Fan would make a special dish every noon. The portions were small and the spots were limited, so everyone had to rush to the cafeteria to get there.
Whoever arrives first is the lucky one.
After listening to this explanation, Xu Qingqing jumped up from her chair, threw her pen on the table, and said urgently, "Then what are we waiting for? Let's hurry up!"
Without waiting for Yuri's reply, she sprinted forward at top speed.
Food—Here I come!
