Ever since McLuhan and Collins turned their car around and returned to their temporary base at the foot of the Jiqipo Mountain, a mixed Chinese and Western jingle began to ring out from them.
Every day, Shuoyu's favorite thing to do is to sit in front of his house, watching Collins lead the cannon fodders to run in formation and shout their jingles, and then start some modern military training, as well as the "National Primary and Secondary School Students' Broadcasting Gymnastics" that Shuoyu taught them.
Carrying guns, marching left and right, from the main end to the far end, and then walking back, happy songs rang out in Shuoyu and his group's temporary base. This was a breeze from America, making every cannon fodder who followed the training feel happy.
"My parents gave me a gun, and it hasn't seen the light of day since I got it. I got a gun and I lick it clean every day! Wan! Wan! Wan——!"
Shuoyu sat on a tree nearby and watched, shouting and yelling along with them, his legs dangling in the air. He watched Si La Si La coming out of a house not far away, carrying large and small bags in his hands, and Fan La who looked very reluctant behind him, smiling and waving at them from the tree.
Dog Meat barked along with them under the tree, carefree and without having to think about anything. Since that day, Shuo Yu really didn't think about anything. Things would always proceed according to his natural development, and all he had to do was make a decision at the right time without much hesitation.
Sometimes life seems like a multiple-choice question, but in fact it is a fill-in-the-blank question. Only you know what to fill in.
Shuoyu jumped down from the tree, also carrying a bag on his back. He turned his head to see Collins and the cannon fodder still singing. Many days had passed since McLuhan and Collins decided to stay, and it should have been several months. The increasingly pressing situation in Zenda City had become the place Shuoyu was most reluctant to go. The same was true for the West Coast. But today was the fifth time.
"If you want a clean beard, you need a clean barrel! If you want a clean head, you need a clean bullet! Let's go! Mangy dog!"
Fanla was standing next to Shuoyu. He was also watching the American scum and the Chinese scum singing this nonsense song together. He really didn't want to go, so he dragged his legs and hesitated. Shuoyu turned his back to look at Collins and the others, and shouted "scabby dog" along with them.
But soon, Si La Si La who had already boarded the bus started shouting his two ancestors through the loud speaker.
"Get in the car. What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for dinner—?"
Kang Ya was still the one driving. Shuo Yu promised him two cans of food each time so that he would keep his mouth shut to everyone.
Shuo Yu sighed, reached out and picked up the not-so-heavy bag on Fanla's back, and put it on his shoulders. He smiled, with a helpless look on his face.
"Let's go, the leader is urging us."
"Let him die, okay?"
Fanla was still complaining, but he followed. Shuoyu jumped into the car and reached out to pull Fanla behind him. Just as they were about to leave, a guy with a serious expression came over and blocked Kangya's steering wheel with his hands. His American helmet made it difficult to see his eyes.
"Where are you going?"
Si La Si La, a smooth-talking and liar, said that he and his group were going to the division headquarters, but McLuhan did not believe him.
"Division headquarters?"
Fanla, who had just gotten on the bus, was fiddling with a helmet to put on his head, and also stuffed a helmet on the top of Banxian'er's head, asking him to put it on.
"Let's go into the city, happy, happy! Let's go happy."
Si La Si La pointed at Fan La and nodded, indicating that what he said was right. Shuo Yu didn't want to lie, lying was meaningless, but he couldn't say what they were going to do, so he could only lower his head and fiddle with his helmet.
"Happy? But the things you brought are enough for you to live in the wild for three or four days, including weapons. This is the fifth time you have disappeared like this."
McLuhan's face was filled with scrutiny and disapproval. No matter what the three people in front of him were about to do, he bit every word he said.
"Mr. Captain, I have never agreed with anything you do, including the happy thing you're going to do this time?"
With a smile on his face, Shuoyu was a little overwhelmed. He turned his back to McLuhan and faced Meng Fanle, checking the things they were going to take with them in the car to see if there was anything missing. The days were passing faster and faster, and they didn't wait for a moment.
"Master McLuhan, you are a good man, right?" Silasila twisted her body and smiled at McLuhan.
"Yeah, good guy!"
"We all say you're a good person. You help us and don't force us to be like him. How wonderful, isn't it?"
"That's right! Or else we say we like you!"
"Really, Mai, Good! Good!"
Talk when you are dead, talk when you are annoyed, and shut up when you are half-immortal.
McLuhan looked at the different appearances of the three guys, his tone still cold.
"Don't be so slick. Your food doesn't contain that much oil or meat."
"If possible, I would like them to have a bite of meat every day, but now it's hard for them to even eat enough." Shuoyu said in a low voice, moved closer to Fanla, turned around, and looked at McLuhan like Fanla and Si La.
The next second, McLuhan got into their car with a gun in his hand, holding their leader's shoulder. He looked like a prophet. If they were playing "Werewolf",
