Chapter 179 Should we make the matter a done deal?

The foot that was originally walking stopped again, causing Ayi, who was half a step behind him, to bump into his shoulder.

Shuoyu said sorry and continued walking.

Dashan was looking at his master from the other side and suddenly spoke,

"That sister looks nice."

Shuoyu looked at the winding alley ahead, trying to figure out how to get to Milong's house. Zenda's alleys were truly a maze. He wondered if he liked Xiaozui. He quickly shook his head; he had never thought of it that way before.

The wind with a hint of moisture blew on his face, and he thought, I hope that bastard Fanla won’t make Xiaozui cry for him again today, but he also thought, what does this have to do with him?

Shuo Yu couldn't figure out what he was thinking, so he had to change the subject.

"I noticed you've been talking a lot today, Ayi. Are you scared?"

"Ah, you mean that? The captain said it's confidential and shouldn't be told!"

Ayi looked around at the Zenda people passing by, covered his mouth, lowered his voice, and looked cautious like a thief.

Shuo Yu turned his head to look at him, thinking that you look even weirder like this, after all, they were wearing military uniforms, so the passers-by didn't dare to look at them.

Ayi probably felt that he was trying to cover up his mistake, so he puffed out his chest and pretended nothing had happened. He shook his flowing hair and looked righteous, as if he was an outstanding student representative about to give a speech.

"There's nothing to be afraid of! We're going to the battlefield! This is an honorable thing!"

"Okay, okay, I know you are honored now."

Shuo Yu smiled and didn't ask him why he stuttered. No one would not be afraid. He thought, life is beautiful and worth cherishing, but it is precisely because of this that people are more afraid of the disappearance of life.

Ayi seemed to feel that he was a little unstable again, and added, "It would be better not to add anything."

"It's not that glorious, actually."

In fact, Ayi was not in the first echelon of Shuoyu and his group. He was the second echelon who supported them and the commandos who were supposed to die. He was the commander of the second echelon (excluding the old, weak, sick and disabled cannon fodder group). After all, he was the deputy head and supervisor of their group.

This would be the first time he led his men to fight a war on his own. Shuo Yu glanced at Ayi who was feeling very uncomfortable beside him. He walked in the alleys of Zenda, uphill, downhill, turning, and making U-turns.

If we really follow the plan that Young Master Yu said, when they send the signal, it will only take four hours for us to launch the attack together. Perhaps we won't need Ayi's second echelon at all. Young Master Yu said four hours, it's dead, it took him one day to tell him, and it took us four days to tell him.

He thought of it twice as long: eight days.

He didn't know if their trip would be smooth sailing. He was just thinking about the question he had just asked. That question was probably just a rare joke that Ah Yi had said casually. It was like a ball of twine that couldn't be torn apart, and his shadow stretched out in front of him. Then he said in a voice that would be blown away by the wind as soon as he opened his mouth,

"Maybe."

"Ah? Shuoyu, what did you say?" Ayi looked at Shuoyu beside him and didn't quite understand what he meant. What did he mean by maybe?

"It's nothing. Let's go. We'll be there soon. I wonder if Milong and his wife have started yet. Maybe they haven't started yet." But Shuo Yu didn't want to explain his doubts. He just urged him to hurry up.

"Oh, okay, let's go."

Ayi began to walk hurriedly behind Shuoyu, probably remembering the painful nights dominated by the voice of Milong's duo opera, so he hurried to catch up with Shuoyu. Finally, when they arrived at Milong's house, they saw two guys, panting and sweating profusely, standing under the sign of Feng He Ri Li.

On the gray wall on one side, there was a painting of a large turtle, not sure if it was drawn by Lei Baoer or Milong, with unclear words written on it in white chalk.

Before entering, Shuo Yu saw Fanla standing on the corridor of Milong's house with his head turned away and looking back. He didn't know what he was looking at, with a look of sadness, reluctance, relaxation, and relief. He was still carrying the bag that Si La Si La had just given him not long ago.

Shuo Yu looked at Fan La, and when Fan La turned his head, he also looked at them, but his expression was not very natural. Maybe he didn't expect that they would bump into each other by such a coincidence. As usual, A Yi didn't notice anything (maybe he noticed it, but was just being polite), and he greeted Fan La and asked him where he was going?

Fanla didn't say anything, but just lowered his head as he passed by them.

Shuo Yu heard the old and helpless cry coming from the yard after Fanla had walked out. He heard a woman crying. He recognized that voice. He had sat under this door with that voice for a long time.

When they walked into the yard, Shuoyu looked at Fanla's father's face, which seemed to be unresponsive. He snorted when he saw him come in and left. Shuoyu looked at Fanla's mother, who was standing there crying and about to faint, and signaled Dashan to take out a Qi-boosting pill from his medicine bottle and give it to the mother.

He discovered that the reason his mother always fainted was because of insufficient energy and blood, and she rarely went out for exercise. The old wooden stick had to rot and stink by himself, and he had to bring others with him (his ancestors really didn't do much good deeds).

Milong in the yard smiled and waved to Ayi, asking him to come over and help. Lei Baoer was holding a small gourd with a peace knot in his hand and making faces at Shuoyu. He had not forgotten his big friend yet.
