"It's okay, I'll take you out to eat."
Gu Shaokai is happy to wait for anyone who comes, no matter how late.
"You go first, I'll follow behind."
Zhong Xinyi doesn't want others to gossip about her.
The two of them walked towards the car, one after the other.
Zhong Xinyi couldn't name the car in front of her.
Gu Shaokai gentlemanly opened the passenger door. "Please."
Zhong Xinyi bent down and sat inside, unsure of where to put her feet, as she had never ridden in a car before.
Gu Shaokai gently closed the car door, walked around to the other side, and sat in the driver's seat.
The man sat next to her, and a sense of oppression washed over her.
Suddenly, a strong scent of male hormones wafted over, and Zhong Xinyi subconsciously raised her startled eyes.
"What...what do you want?"
Thinking the man was about to take advantage of her, she instinctively covered her chest with both hands.
Gu Shaokai glanced at the little woman; she seemed quite security-conscious.
"Let me fasten your seatbelt."
"Oh." Zhong Xinyi gave an awkward laugh. Had she embarrassed herself?
The man didn't let her feel awkward the next second. After starting the car, he asked, "What do you want to eat?"
"Anything is fine, I'm not picky about food."
She doesn't really have any particular favorite foods; she's content as long as she's fed and clothed.
"Is it okay if I eat steak?"
Gu Shaokai had his own agenda; the restaurant's atmosphere was more suitable for couples.

She had never eaten it before and didn't know what it tasted like.
But I just said "anything is fine," so wouldn't it be a bit too dramatic to disagree now?
"Okay." No one knew how flustered she was inside.
