Li Cheng'an smiled and said, "Grandma, I've long forgotten."
Chen Shufang was relieved. She only hoped that An'an could forget some of the unpleasant things from her childhood.
Huang Qiurong walked over carrying a basket. When she saw the woman next to An'an, she felt that she looked familiar, but she realized who she was a second ago.
It turned out to be Commander Li's mother. No wonder she didn't recognize her, since the woman rarely came to the family compound and seemed to not get along with Jingjing.
Li Cheng'an greeted her, which caught his grandmother's attention.
"Who are you…"
Seeing the other person's friendly expression, Chen Shufang also showed a friendly smile.
Huang Qiurong nodded. "Auntie, hello. My name is Huang Qiurong, and I live downstairs from Jingjing."
Looking at the vegetables in the other person's basket, he smiled and said, "Jingjing's vegetables grow exceptionally well. She takes good care of them; none of us can compare to her."
It's actually a way of saying nice things about Jingjing.
Chen Shufang smiled and said, "Yes, Jingjing has put in a lot of effort."
"But thanks to your care, this girl is still young. I hope you will talk to her more often in the family compound."
Chen Shufang was afraid that Jingjing's past actions had left a bad impression on everyone.
She used to be at odds with Jingjing, so she naturally didn't care about Jingjing's interpersonal relationships in the family compound. But now it's different; she genuinely treats this girl as family.

Chen Shufang smiled with satisfaction, "That's good." She tossed the basket in her hand, "An'an and I will go back first to make lunch."
"Okay."
Looking at the two figures, one big and one small, Huang Qiurong fell into deep thought. Judging from their tone, the relationship between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law seemed to be quite good.
Wealthy mothers-in-law all take their daughters-in-law's time and energy, not to mention they never cook for them themselves.
Jingjing's personality is indeed quite likable now, and I believe the Li family has noticed that as well.
After returning upstairs, Chen Shufang went into the kitchen to cook, refusing even when Jingjing offered to help.

The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law chatted while working, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant.

Li's mother came from a scholarly family, so she wouldn't be as unreasonable as a country mother-in-law.
As soon as training ended, Li Hanting rushed home to cook.
Liu Yang turned around and the regimental commander disappeared from sight.
"Hey, where's the commander?"
Yang Wei nudged Liu Yang with his shoulder, wiping his sweat as he said, "Look, he's long gone."
Liu Yang followed the line of sight and could only see the commander's figure gradually receding into the distance.

Su Jingjing was taken aback. What was A-Ting planning to do?
Chen Shufang raised an eyebrow at Jingjing, as if to say, "Go quickly."
This young couple is so lovey-dovey these days.
The iceberg in her family is finally starting to melt.
Su Jingjing took small, quick steps to the man. Even though she was slow, the living room was only a small space.
"Bang!"
She was stunned.
If Ah Ting closes the door, won't his mother-in-law misunderstand even more?
"Wife, did you miss me this morning?"
Li Hanting hugged his little wife tightly; her soft and delicate body made his heart flutter.
This morning, his wife's charming image kept appearing in his mind, making it impossible for him to do anything.
"Ah Ting, put me down."
Su Jingjing crossed her legs around the man's waist; this intimate gesture made her feel very insecure.
"Honey, you still haven't told me you miss me."
Ah Ting whispered in her ear, and she immediately thought of a certain cute action.
The man's breath sprayed on her neck, disorienting her.
Su Jingjing avoided the topic, shrinking her neck slightly. "A-Ting, let's go out quickly, Mom is still outside."
Her mother-in-law's teasing look had made her extremely embarrassed.
"Honey, I thought about you all morning. As soon as training ended, I rushed back."
