At the dinner table, Yu Shiya eagerly served food to her son.
"Come on, eat more."
Gu Qingyun's expression changed drastically, his already dark complexion turned even darker, and he put down his chopsticks, staring intently at the actions of the mother and son beside him.
Gu Shaokai looked at the mountain of vegetables and suddenly realized, "Mom, there's too much. Give some to Dad too."
His father's deep gaze remained fixed on him, and he felt as if he were being stared into a hole.
Yu Shiya then noticed her husband's dark and deep eyes.
She picked up a piece of pork rib and put it in his bowl, saying, "You've worked hard too, have some pork rib to nourish yourself."
Gu Qingyun's cold face finally regained its composure, and he turned around and put a piece on his wife's plate as well.
"Don't just focus on Akai, you haven't even eaten a few bites yourself." His eyes were full of tenderness.
Turning to look at her son, she wore a completely different expression, her eyes unfathomable. "I heard you went to settle accounts with someone at noon?"
Yu Shiya looked at her husband with puzzled eyes, "What accounts?"
Are the father and son hiding something from her?
Gu Qingyun threw the question to his son, "You're asking this brat; he's getting more and more capable."
"Son, what's going on? Mom is completely confused."
Even though his father knew the cause of the incident, Gu Shaokai remained calm and composed. After swallowing the last bite of his rice, he comforted his mother, "Mom, it's just that someone bullied Xinyi. I'm going to find someone to settle the score and get revenge for her."

He quickly put down his chopsticks, exclaiming, "How dare someone bully my daughter-in-law!"
Then she gave her son a thumbs-up and praised him, saying, "Good job, son."
Although she hasn't met Xinyi in person yet, she already treats Xinyi as her own daughter-in-law.
Their daughter-in-law, who values her family, would never tolerate being bullied.
"Honey, watch your temper, don't get agitated."
Gu Qingyun was afraid that Ya Ya would get too excited and trigger her old ailment.
"I'm fine." You Shiya slapped away her husband's outstretched hand. "Xinyi's matter is important."
Gu Qingyun's eyes darkened. "Wife, the two children are still far from being born. No one can predict what will happen in the future."
"What do you mean? Does this mean you don't trust your son?" You Shiya suddenly raised her voice as if she had been provoked. "No matter what, Xinyi is in your military region, so you should take good care of her."

With great willpower, Zhong Xinyi regained consciousness.
Feeling annoyed, she wondered why she was being so infatuated.
