The next day, Li Hanting went to the canteen for breakfast after morning training.
The two children were watching TV quietly in the living room.
Seeing him return, she cautiously ran over.
"Dad, Dad, you're back."
Li Hanting caught the child and looked around the living room. "Where's Mom?"
"Dad, keep your voice down." It seemed that her father's voice was too loud. The little girl frowned and said "Shh." "Mom is sleeping. Yuanyuan is being a good girl and listening to her brother. She didn't disturb her."
Mom must be too tired lately.
Li Hanting subconsciously looked at the door to the master bedroom. "Good girl, go have breakfast with your brother first, and Dad will go wake Mom up."
"good."
Upon receiving his father's instructions, Li Cheng'an went to the kitchen to get bowls and chopsticks.
Gently push open the door, and you'll see a small bulge on the bed that's hard to miss.
When I got to the bedside, I could still hear my wife's soft breathing.
I couldn't bear to wake her, but my wife still needed to take the child out.
"Wife, are you awake?"
He placed a kiss on his wife's forehead.
Su Jingjing slowly woke up and, through her hazy vision, saw A Ting sitting at the head of the bed.
"You're back?"
I sat up instinctively, and a wave of soreness washed over me.
What should have been a one-second matter was dragged out to a minute by her.
Li Hanting was at a loss. "What's wrong?"
Su Jingjing bit her lower lip and said coquettishly, "It's all your fault."
How is she supposed to take her child shopping now?
Li Hanting was speechless for a moment; he had indeed done something wrong.
"Then I'll rub it for you."
"No, no need."
Su Jingjing quickly stopped her, fearing that she wouldn't be able to leave the room.
Now, she's becoming increasingly unpresentable in front of the children.
If those women in the residential compound found out, who knows what they'd say about her.
Whose mom is this lazy?
Su Jingjing insisted on washing up and changing her clothes by herself, and A Ting seemed to feel guilty and followed behind her the whole time.
Stepping out of the room, the two children were already eating breakfast.
With crumbs of steamed bun still stuck to her round mouth, she said, "Mom, come and have breakfast."
"Okay, Mom's coming right now."
An'an quickly arranged a seat for her, placing her between him and Yuanyuan.
Li Hanting glanced at it silently; it seemed no seat had been reserved for him.
Fortunately, his daughter noticed him at that moment and said, "Dad, sit next to Yuanyuan."
She was sitting between her parents, and just thinking about it made her happy.
The little guy stared at him with bright, sparkling eyes, as if he hadn't quite figured out what was going on.
His little darling is the most considerate.
Li Hanting said ingratiatingly, "Wife, I specially asked the kitchen to make a bowl of steamed eggs."
"It's dripping with sesame oil, it smells wonderful."
Su Jingjing looked at the one-of-a-kind steamed egg and shook her head. "Give it to the two children."
Li Yuanyuan smiled and said, "Mom, you've worked hard. Here, have some."
An'an chimed in, "Mom, Dad specially made this to help you recover."
Three pairs of eyes were fixed on her, and Su Jingjing was caught in a dilemma, so she had no choice but to accept the bowl of steamed eggs.
"good."
I have to say, it feels so good to be pampered by my family.
After finishing breakfast, at exactly 7:30, Su Jingjing quickly tidied up and took her two children out.
Li Hanting meaningfully instructed the two children, "Be a good boy and listen to your mother."
His wife wasn't feeling well today, and he was worried that the two kids would make a fuss.
Yuanyuan: "Okay, Daddy."
Li Cheng'an nodded helplessly; he wasn't really a three-year-old child.
An hour later, they arrived in the city.
The two children were full of energy after getting off the bus, but she herself almost threw up.
The car ride was particularly bumpy today; it felt like I was on a roller coaster.
"Mom, are you still dizzy?"
Yuanyuan called out "Mommy" with a sob in her voice.
Su Jingjing calmed down and forced a smile, "Mom is fine, she's just a little carsick."
"Let's go, let's go to the bookstore first."
The little one felt relieved when he saw his mother smile.
Having visited the bookstore once before, they headed straight for the school supplies section this time, familiar with the place.
The little one asked cautiously, "Mommy, I also want to buy a box of colored pencils."
Su Jingjing smiled gently, "Take whatever you want."
Do you want to buy more books?
Yuanyuan nodded vigorously, "I want to."
An An remained silent, but the light in his eyes betrayed him.
"Let's go pick one out with your brother."
The children rarely have the opportunity to visit a bookstore, and Su Jingjing tries her best to fulfill any reasonable requests.
After making her selections, Su Jingjing went to pay the bill, which cost less than ten yuan.
As Su Jingjing passed by the Shuqi Newspaper Office, she stopped in her tracks.
With the children around, she was unsure whether she should go in.
Yuanyuan is a bit of a scatterbrain and doesn't understand anything, but An'an is not easily fooled.
Li Cheng'an glanced at the name on the plaque. "Mom, what's wrong?"
Su Jingjing met An'an's eyes and said, "Son, Mom has to go inside to take care of something. You and your sister sit quietly in the chairs for a bit."
He pointed to the benches in the newspaper office as he spoke.
Li Cheng'an hesitated for a moment, then said, "Okay."
As she entered the newspaper office, the young woman at the door greeted her, "Sister Jingjing, you've arrived."
I caught a glimpse of two adorable little kids on the ground; the girl was chubby and cute, while the boy was handsome but aloof.
She exclaimed in surprise, "Wow, what an adorable child!"
He then transformed into a pervert, unable to resist reaching out with his groping hands.
An An frowned and quickly avoided her hand, while her younger sister seemed confused.
He chuckled awkwardly and withdrew his hand. What a cold-hearted little boy!
She was actually terrified.
"Jingjing, is this your child?"
Touching a child's face in front of Sister Jingjing seems a bit inappropriate.
Su Jingjing was worried about who would watch her child. "Um, little sister, could you help me watch the child?"
The younger sister understood and readily agreed, "Of course."
Su Jingjing gave the children some instructions and then quickly went into the president's office.
After his mother went inside, Li Cheng'an's eyes flickered.
Why did Mom come here?
The younger sister tried to chat with Yuanyuan, and the little guy knew that this older sister was a good person, so he wasn't afraid of her.
A glint of shrewdness flashed in Li Cheng'an's eyes as he inquired about the newspaper from his younger sister.
Although my younger sister is almost twenty years old, her mental age is nowhere near that of An'an, and she didn't notice at all that An'an was trying to get information out of her.
Plus, An'an took the initiative to talk to her, and she was so excited that she never expected a child to be so cunning.
To avoid keeping the children waiting, Su Jingjing handed the manuscript to President Lin and left immediately.
"Jingjing, is it all done?"
"Okay, little sister, thank you for watching my child. I have something to do, so I'll head back now. Let's talk again next time."
The younger sister waved her hand, "The children are so adorable, I couldn't ask for more."
Goodbye, An'an and Yuanyuan.
Goodbye, sister.
