Chapter 259 Menstrual Period

That morning, Su Jingjing got her period.

She endured the pain and got up to put on a sanitary pad, but when she couldn't bear it any longer, she went back to bed.

The original owner of this body suffered from menstrual cramps just like her, making it difficult for her to even get out of bed.

When she first got her period, she couldn't stand the wood ash at all, so from then on she went to the hospital early every month to buy sanitary napkins.

Although it wasn't as refreshing as the sanitary napkins of later generations, it was still usable.

I don't know if it's because of the weather, but this time it hurts especially badly.

Her hands kept kneading her abdomen, trying to relieve even a little bit of the pain, but her hands were always cold and she couldn't feel any warmth at all.

These were his jobs when Ah Ting was at home.

She was busy at the military base today and didn't want Ah Ting to worry, so she kept her period a secret.

However, she was more worried about what the children would eat for breakfast.

Yuanyuan, who was in the next bedroom, rubbed her eyes and woke up her brother.

"What's wrong with my sister?"

An'an is very vigilant; he will get up immediately if his sister makes any noise.

"Brother, I need to pee."

Upon hearing that her younger sister needed to use the restroom, An'an quickly got out of bed and took her to the bathroom.

His younger sister went into the bathroom, while he stared thoughtfully at his mother's bedroom door.

Yuanyuan came out of the bathroom and saw her brother staring blankly.

She shook his arm. "What are you looking at, brother?"

"Yuanyuan, don't you find it strange?"

Yuanyuan didn't understand what her brother meant. "What's strange?"

"Mom seems to still be sleeping."

Why was he so certain? Because his mother usually closed the door after getting up, instead of locking it.

"Let's go take a look."

An'an took her sister's hand and slowly opened the door to the master bedroom.

Su Jingjing couldn't sleep at all. Noticing the noise at the door, she slowly turned her head.

Dragging her weak body, she tried to sit up. "Are you awake, babies?"

An'an realized something was wrong and quickly went over to get Su Jingjing a pillow and a backrest.

She asked with concern, "Mom, are you feeling unwell?"

His mother's face was so pale, and she spoke weakly, which made him worry.

Yuanyuan hugged her mother tightly, pouting and crying, "Waaah... Mom, please don't get hurt."

Su Jingjing didn't have time to answer her son's question; she had to comfort her daughter first.

She forced a smile and said, "Yuanyuan, don't cry, Mommy's okay."

Then she looked at An'an and said, "Mom's just has a little tummy ache. I'll be fine after a nap. It's just that Mom can't make you a nice breakfast."

Yuanyuan touched Su Jingjing's chest; this was how her mother helped her when she was sick.

"Mom, you're okay. My brother and I can eat at the cafeteria."

An'an knew things weren't that simple, so she suppressed her doubts.

"I'll go get you a glass of hot water."

As she spoke, she turned and went to the living room to pour water, but in her mind she was thinking that she must go find her father later.

After drinking the hot water, Su Jingjing felt a little better in her stomach.

"Mom, you lie down and rest. My sister and I will wait for Dad to come home."

Yuanyuan echoed her brother's words, "My brother and I will be good."

With such sensible children, even with a stomachache, Su Jingjing felt incredibly happy.

After closing the door, An An's expression immediately changed.

With a serious expression, he said to Yuanyuan, "You stay home and watch over Mom. Your brother is going to find Dad now."

Although she didn't understand why her brother had called their father back, Yuanyuan was always obedient.

"Brother, Yuanyuan will take good care of Mom."

An'an helped her younger sister put on her coat, then grabbed her own coat and ran outside.

He ran into the fat guy downstairs, but he didn't have time to pay him any attention.

Liang Dapang exhaled a breath, "Why is An'an running around so early in the morning?"

Just as I was about to follow, I suddenly heard my mother's loud voice.

"You brat, don't you feel cold? Hurry up and get on."

Startled, he turned and ran upstairs.

Even though she was wearing a thick cotton-padded coat, An'an still shivered from the cold wind.

He sniffed and kept running.

Dad is usually at the training ground in the morning; he knows that spot.

At this moment, Li Hanting was undergoing grueling training, with everyone wearing only short sleeves while carrying weights for ten kilometers.

Suddenly, Liu Yang noticed a small figure not far away that looked a lot like An An.

No, it's An'an.

"Commander, An'an is running this way."

Li Hanting subconsciously turned his head to look behind him.

An'an ran breathlessly to her father's side, "Daddy..."

Are you cold?

Li Hanting gestured for Liu Yang to bring him his coat.

"Tell me slowly, has something happened at home?"

An'an felt much warmer after putting on her father's coat.

"Yes, Mommy has a stomachache and has been lying in bed. Daddy, please go back and check on her."

He understood his son's meaning almost immediately.

My wife is on her period.

He's been incredibly busy lately, and these past two days have been a quiet period of rest for him.

"Xiao Liu, we're dismissed in half an hour."

"Oh right, go to the cafeteria and get two breakfasts later."

After giving Liu Yang his instructions, she picked up her son and left.

An'an was stunned for a moment; his father hadn't hugged him in a long time.

Yuanyuan paced back and forth in the living room, not daring to go in and disturb her mother.

As soon as she saw her father come home, she rushed to him.

"Waaah... Daddy, Mommy isn't feeling well."

Li Hanting patted his daughter's head and, seeing that her clothes were disheveled, knew she hadn't washed up yet.

"Dad knows. Go wash up with your brother first."

Li Hanting gently opened the door. Jingjing, who was lying on the bed, seemed to be asleep, listlessly curled up in the quilt.
