Chapter 260 The Care of the Father and His Two Sons

As soon as he closed the door, the two children came running like cannonballs.

Yuanyuan hugged his leg, tilted her head up, and asked, "Daddy, is Mommy feeling better?"

An'an's eyes were also filled with worry.

"Mom is fine, you guys go have breakfast first."

Liu Yang then brought in the breakfast.

After arranging breakfast for the children, Li Hanting went into the kitchen to prepare brown sugar ginger tea.

The first few times I drank it, it was effective.

He is becoming more and more skilled at making brown sugar ginger tea.

A few minutes later, he brought brown sugar ginger tea to the bedside and gently woke the person up.

"Wife, get up and drink some brown sugar ginger tea to warm yourself up."

Su Jingjing slowly opened her eyes; her complexion had become a little rosier.

Perhaps because the man was home, she felt her stomach pain had lessened.

Li Hanting helped her sit up against the headboard and gave her a soft pillow to cushion her weight.

Su Jingjing raised her hand to take the bowl, "I can do it myself."

Li Hanting sat by the bed and patiently fed her bite by bite.

"It's a little hot, drink it slowly."

Su Jingjing actually couldn't quite accept the taste of brown sugar ginger tea, but given her condition, she had no choice but to drink it.

After drinking it, my lower abdomen felt warm, and my hands and feet didn't feel so cold anymore.

She reached out and held the bowl, "Ah Ting, I don't want to drink anymore."

Seeing that only crumbs remained at the bottom of the bowl, Li Hanting gave in to her wishes.

Just then, An'an knocked on the door from the outside. He said in a deep voice, "Come in..."

An'an poked her head out and said, "Dad, Uncle Liu brought over a thermal box."

Li Hanting frowned slightly and said gently to Jingjing, "I'll go over there for a bit."

Su Jingjing watched him leave, then noticed the two children peeking in, so she quickly called them back in.

An'an asked with concern, "Mom, are you feeling better?"

Yuanyuan took off her shoes, climbed onto the bed, kissed her mother's forehead, and even pretended to feel her mother's warmth.

Her mother did the same thing when she was sick.

With her delicate eyebrows furrowed, she said, "Mom, it's cold."

Su Jingjing smiled and said, "Mom is fine, don't worry, babies."

Li Hanting walked in carrying a bowl containing millet porridge.

He saw the children surrounding his wife.

Not wanting to blame his daughter, he took it out on his son.

"An'an, go out and watch TV with your sister."

Yuanyuan hugged Su Jingjing tightly, pouting, "Daddy, I don't want to watch TV, I want to be with Mommy."

When An'an saw her father frowning, she immediately brought her younger sister down.

"Daddy will take good care of Mommy. Let's not cause trouble here and go out to play with our brother."

Yuanyuan was reluctantly pulled out by her brother.

Li Hanting sat down on the edge of the bed again, took a spoon, scooped some porridge from the bowl, blew on it to cool it down, and brought it to her lips.

"Wife, drink some millet porridge to warm your stomach."

Su Jingjing opened her small mouth and drank the porridge the man handed her.

Chew it slowly, and it tastes pretty good.

"Ah Ting, where did this porridge come from?"

"I asked the cafeteria staff to cook it."

Ten minutes later, Su Jingjing drank a bowl of porridge.

Li Hanting placed his hand on her lower abdomen, "Wife, does your stomach still hurt?"

Su Jingjing gently shook her head, "It doesn't hurt much anymore."

"I want to get down and walk around."

She had been lying there for several hours.

"Okay, get dressed first."

Li Hanting found her a thick cotton-padded coat and dressed her properly.

Su Jingjing looked at herself, wrapped up like a dumpling, and thought, "Isn't this a bit too much?"

"Not much, but you can't catch a cold right now."

"Don't cook lunch, I'll get takeout from the cafeteria."

"Okay." Su Jingjing urged the man to go to work.

Over the next two days, Su Jingjing once again experienced the treatment of an empress.

There are two children and one adult in the family who are always watching her.

She was only a little uncomfortable on the first day, and the following days were the same as usual.

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, it's my father-in-law's 70th birthday.

Su Jingjing went out and bought a gift a couple of days ago; she also bought a necklace for her mother-in-law.

She was rummaging through drawers and cabinets at that moment.

"Mom, what are you looking for?"

Yuanyuan came in and asked her mother to dry her hair.

It's cold now, and Su Jingjing couldn't let her daughter catch a cold, so she had to stop what she was doing and dry her daughter's hair.

"Tomorrow is Grandpa's birthday. How are you and your brother going to make him happy?"

Yuanyuan tilted her head, her eyes rolling around.

"Then I'll tell Grandpa a story."

After drying her hair, Yuanyuan asked softly, "Mommy, can I watch TV for a little while?"

Seeing that it was still early, Su Jingjing agreed.

"Okay, you can only watch for half an hour."

"Yay..." Yuan Yuan skipped and hopped out.

Li Hanting walked in and saw the wardrobe open and a pile of clothes on the bed, which made him curious.

"Wife, what's going on?"

Su Jingjing turned her head and looked at him, her tone slightly cheerful, "You've come at the right time, help me see which clothes look good on me."

After losing weight, she bought clothes a few times.

I only wear it when I go out.

Li Hanting walked over and pulled her into his arms. "My wife is naturally beautiful. She looks good in anything."

Su Jingjing scolded playfully, "Be serious."

"Tomorrow is Dad's birthday, and I want to pick out a decent outfit to wear."

Li Hanting then began to carefully select, "This long-sleeved dress, paired with a wool coat."

Surprisingly, he has a good sense of style; this outfit looks particularly sophisticated and elegant.

After resolving the clothing issue, she then wanted to pack her things for tomorrow morning.

Li Hanting quickly picked him up and gently placed him on the bed.

"Ah Ting, I still have things to finish."

"I'll help you pack tomorrow morning. Right now, the most important thing is to get some sleep."

Su Jingjing: "But it's still early..."

"It's getting late. By the time we finish exercising, it will be very late."

The next second, her lips were sealed, and Su Jingjing struggled slightly.

"Children..."

"An'an will turn off the TV in half an hour."

After Li Hanting finished speaking, he leaned down, raised his hand to hook her chin, and gently kissed her lips. His hot palm slowly moved down her soft waist.

Su Jingjing knew she couldn't escape, so she could only reach out and cling to his shoulder.

Only the sound of panting remained in the room.

Considering he had to get up early tomorrow, he only did it once tonight.

Su Jingjing had long since fallen into a deep sleep from exhaustion.

Li Hanting got up to fetch hot water to wash them both. He tucked the blanket in and tiptoed out the door.

Upon entering the second bedroom, only a warm yellow light remained by the bedside.

The two little ones on the bed were sleeping soundly, even snoring softly.

Yuan Yuan frowned, her little mouth still murmuring, "Brother, don't take Yuan Yuan's apple."

Li Hanting smiled; his daughter was quite the little foodie after all.

She leaned down slightly and whispered, "Don't worry, no one will steal your apple."

The little one then calmed down and fell into a deep sleep.
