The next morning, Li Hanting opened his eyes to find Jingjing sleeping soundly on his chest.
He couldn't resist kissing her on the head, then gently moved her body to a straight position, got up, put on his clothes, and went to pack his things.
Su Jingjing turned over, touched the empty space beside her, and slowly opened her eyes, only then noticing that it was already dawn.
In her haste, she accidentally touched a certain part of her body, causing her to wince in pain.
After pausing for a moment, he got up, put on his clothes, opened the door, and went out.
The man had already packed his things.
"Why didn't you wake me up when you woke up?" Su Jingjing was slightly embarrassed; she had confidently promised to get up early yesterday.
Li Hanting pulled her into his arms, resting his chin on the top of her head. "Wife, I want you to sleep a little longer."
Su Jingjing tiptoed and gently kissed the man's chin. "Thank you for your hard work. Go wake the children up. I'm going to change my clothes."
The couple divided the work among themselves.
Yuanyuan was lifted out of her warm bed by her father, leaned on his shoulder, yawned, and indicated that she still wanted to sleep.
"Sweetie, we're going to celebrate Grandpa's birthday later."
"Dad, I'm sleepy."
The little guy squinted his eyes.
Seeing that his father couldn't handle it, An'an had to come up with his own solution.
"Little sister, if you don't get up and wash up soon, I'll leave you to sleep alone at home."
"Hmph... I don't want to, brother is bad."
After saying that, she struggled to get down from her father's arms and ran to the bathroom to wash up.
She was afraid that her brother would leave her at home.
After changing her clothes, Su Jingjing even put on some light makeup.
After admiring himself in the mirror for a while, he smiled contentedly.
As soon as Li Hanting entered, he saw Jingjing's bright smile.
He leaned against the doorway, his eyes blazing with fury, staring intently at the impeccably dressed girl.
What to do? He didn't really want his wife to go out.
He gently embraced her from behind, resting his head against her earlobe and wrapping his arms around her.
Su Jingjing was caught off guard and fell into a warm embrace, almost crying out in surprise, when she heard a man's deep voice in her ear.
"Don't be afraid, it's me."
"Honey, you look so beautiful today."
The man's heavy breathing brushed against her ear, and the tingling sensation made Su Jingjing's face immediately flush.
"Ah Ting, we still need to go celebrate Dad's 70th birthday."
As children, they cannot be late.
No rush.
Li Hanting grabbed her shoulder and turned her head to look at her, his eyes burning with intense passion.
The two were very close, and Su Jingjing saw her own blushing cheeks through the man's pupils.
A surge of emotions welled up in Li Hanting's eyes. He pressed one hand against the back of her head and kissed her fiercely, yet his biting motions unconsciously softened, revealing a tenderness as if she were a precious treasure.
Su Jingjing's heart pounded like a deer's, and her beautiful, clear eyes glistened with tears.
The two kissed passionately, unable to tell who took the initiative in the end.
When Yuanyuan pushed the door open and came in, Su Jingjing's eyes widened, and she hurriedly pushed away the man's hold.
Yuanyuan felt the atmosphere was strange.
"Mom and Dad, what are you doing?"
After her father turned his head, she exclaimed in surprise, "Oh, Dad, your lips are bleeding?"
Su Jingjing's head immediately started buzzing; the man had eaten all of her lipstick.
Li Hanting wiped his mouth without making a sound, and was about to speak when he quietly pinched the flesh on his waist, as if warning him not to say anything out of line.
"This is lipstick."
What is lipstick?
The little guy has started asking a million questions again.
After straightening her collar, Su Jingjing quickly tried to distract her daughter.
"Honey, is there something you need?"
Yuanyuan suddenly realized what was happening and happily hugged Su Jingjing's leg. "Mommy, what clothes should my brother and I wear today?"
"Mom will take you to choose."
Both children look cute and playful no matter what they wear, so it's easy to choose clothes for them.
After the family finished getting ready, Su Jingjing led one child in each hand downstairs, while Li Hanting followed behind carrying large and small bags.
Liu Yang drove his car to the family building early in the morning.
Li Hanting put the things in the trunk, carried the two children into the car one by one, and then helped Jingjing sit in the passenger seat.
The family happily got into the car and headed to the old house.
Yuanyuan leaned against the window and looked at the scenery outside for a while before turning around and sitting obediently.
The two children were clearly excited about going to the old house.
An hour later, the car slowly drove into the Li family's old house.
Li Yuehuan was the only one in the courtyard, idly drinking tea.
"Huanhuan, why aren't you going inside?"
After exchanging greetings, Su Jingjing asked, puzzled.
Li Yuehuan was playing with her niece when she heard her second sister-in-law's words. She pouted and said, "Most of what's inside is flattery. I couldn't stand it, so I ran away."
My father originally just wanted to invite some old comrades-in-arms to our house for a get-together, but someone leaked the news, and everyone came to our door with gifts.
If she can still run away like that, her mother and the others will be in big trouble.
"No matter what, they are guests, and we should be polite."
Li Hanting patted his sister's head. "Let's go in with your second brother."
With her second brother around, she wasn't afraid.
Before even going inside, I could hear lively conversation and laughter coming from within.
Li Yuehuan ran to her father's side, took his arm, and whispered in his ear, "Dad, my second brother and the others are here."
That sound was not quiet at all.
