Li Hanting didn't get back until dinner time, looking travel-worn with dark circles under his eyes.
Su Jingjing felt heartbroken. Her husband was busy with chores in the countryside, and as soon as he returned to the army, he went out to deal with things without even having time to drink a sip of hot water.
I wonder if I'm done with my work yet?
"Honey, don't worry, it's just a small matter, it's all taken care of."

"The children are here."

Seeing Ah Ting get angry at his son, Su Jingjing couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Alright, let's eat first."
"An'an, take your little sister to wash her hands."
After the children went into the bathroom, Su Jingjing took the man's arm and gently coaxed him, "You're really angry with your son."
She tiptoed and kissed the man on the corner of his mouth. "Are you still angry?"
Li Hanting was taken aback. "The child is my own, I'm not angry."
He reached out and put his arm around her waist. "Wife, that's not enough. One kiss, and tonight I want..."
Su Jingjing placed her index finger on his lips. "I know, just don't say it out loud." It's kind of embarrassing.
After dinner, the two children clung to Su Jingjing, wanting to watch TV or have stories told.
Li Hanting sat to the side, staring intently, his aura growing increasingly chilling.
"Mom, I want to eat canned pineapple."
The little gluttonous cat, Yuanyuan, is eyeing the snacks in the cupboard again.
Su Jingjing thought for a moment and then made some for the children to try, so that the brother and sister wouldn't keep thinking about it.
Yuanyuan has trouble sleeping because she has things on her mind.
After the children have had their fill of chewing, they are sent to brush their teeth and go to bed.
"Wife, finally some peace and quiet."
Su Jingjing covered her mouth and laughed, "You're complaining about your own precious daughter and son?"
"As long as I don't take over your life, anything is negotiable."
"Come here, wife."
Just when Li Hanting thought the two siblings would go back to the second bedroom to sleep, the two of them actually stood at the door with pillows in their hands.
"Dad, you're pressing down on Mom."
Yuanyuan glared angrily, startling the two of them so much that they quickly separated.
"Why are you all here instead of going to sleep?"
Li Hanting was furious that his good time had been interrupted.
Yuanyuan put the pillow on the bed, took off her shoes, and climbed up in a flash, even sneakily pushing her father aside.
"Dad, my brother and I are coming to sleep with Mom."
Hugging Su Jingjing's neck and acting coquettishly, she said, "Mommy, can my brother and I come and sleep with you?"
Li Hanting's face turned pale and then red, his last hope resting on his wife.
Su Jingjing took a deep breath. With her husband on one side and her child on the other, she could only silently apologize to the man.
"Of course, the four of us can sleep together."
She secretly rejoiced that she hadn't had time to take off her clothes yet.
"Dad, try to move over a little."
"..." Li Hanting was pushed aside by his precious daughter, and his eyes twitched violently twice.
The brother and sister clung to Jingjing, but he couldn't even touch the hem of his wife's clothes.

Su Jingjing also felt sorry for the man.

"She's such a good daughter."

"Honey, don't go to sleep yet."
His lust hadn't subsided; his body was burning hot, and he couldn't sleep at all.
Su Jingjing blushed and agreed.
Slowly, her eyelids began to droop, and without saying a word to the man, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Li Hanting watched as his wife closed her eyes, clearly exhausted.
He sighed, got up, and went to the window to get some fresh air and calm down.
To keep the person in bed from getting cold, he closed the window after a short while.
I slipped on my shoes and went to the bathroom to take a cold shower.
The burning desire within him gradually subsided under the biting cold.
Wearing only a pair of shorts, he returned to the master bedroom, where the scent of his wife filled the air, and his mind began to wander again.
If this continues, he won't get any sleep at all.
Alone, she hugged her pillow and went back to the second bedroom. In the moonlight streaming through the window, she looked somewhat forlorn.
The next morning, Su Jingjing slowly opened her eyes.
The touch beside her made her look down and see Yuanyuan sleeping soundly with her arm around her, while An'an was sleeping very peacefully.
The man was nowhere to be seen near the bed, but the blankets covering the mother and her two children were tightly sealed, and Su Jingjing knew that it was A Ting who had covered them.
