Before dawn, Li Hanting drove to the rented apartment.
The courtyard was quiet, so as not to disturb his family's rest, he rolled over and jumped in.
He didn't know which room his wife was in, so he didn't dare to make any further moves and sat upright in the chair, waiting for dawn.
Yan Ling was used to waking up early. She had just stretched when Han Ting's tall figure walked towards her.
She asked excitedly, "Han Ting, when did you arrive?"
When facing his mother-in-law, Li Hanting's expression was no longer so tense.
"Mom, I'm off today, so I drove over by myself. Which room is Jingjing in?"
"She's in the room on the right, hurry up."

I slept soundly until dawn without having a single dream.
Li Hanting took off his shoes and lay down beside her, gently pulling her into his arms. Only after smelling the fragrance emanating from her body did his heart gradually calm down.
He saw the dark circles under his wife's eyes and felt sorry for her again.
"I'm not by your side, you must be busy until very late again."
He caught a glimpse of her rosy lips and couldn't resist kissing them, but only briefly, without disturbing her sleep.
After stealing a kiss, he slowly closed his eyes.
She fell into a deep sleep in no time.
In the next room, An'an and Yuanyuan automatically opened their eyes at the appointed time. Seeing that their grandmother was not by their side, they did not cry or make a fuss. They quietly put on their clothes and shoes and went out the door.

Yan Ling was worried that it wasn't safe for her son-in-law's car to be parked outside, so she went out to check on it for a while.

"An'an, go wash up with your sister first."
An'an took her younger sister's hand and led her into the bathroom.
After washing up, the two children cried out for their mother.

Yuanyuan pouted and asked, "Grandma, why can't I look for Mommy?"
She hadn't seen her mother all night and missed her terribly.
An'an was also curious about her grandmother's reaction.
Yan Ling smiled mysteriously, "Your father just came over and is in your mother's room. Let's not disturb them."
"Wow, Dad's here."
Yuanyuan smiled with delight. She hadn't seen her father for several days and seemed to miss him too.
She covered her little mouth, her big, bright eyes darting around, saying, "Then Yuanyuan will play outside obediently and won't bother Mom and Dad."
Seeing that the two children were entertaining themselves, Yan Ling felt relieved and went into the kitchen to make breakfast.
Su Dashan and his wife also got up at this time.
Seeing the two siblings playing with a jigsaw puzzle, Dong Qin went over and asked, "An'an and Yuanyuan, is Mommy still not up?"
Jingjing has been so busy these past few days that they usually don't have the heart to bother her in the mornings.

Yan Ling turned her head and raised an eyebrow. "Awake?"
"You had qingtuan and noodles this morning. Did the kids not bother you last night?"
Dong Qin washed her hands and then joined in making qingtuan (a type of glutinous rice dumpling).
"No, Guodong slept very soundly last night."
"I just heard from An'an and Yuanyuan that your brother-in-law is here?"
Yan Ling said with a smile, "Yes, Han Ting said he's off today, but I don't believe him."
“Jingjing said that her son-in-law doesn’t get more than ten days of vacation a year. How could he possibly have a day off so conveniently? He probably misses his daughter.”
Dong Qin: "My little sister is happy."
"Yes, it can be said that the hard times have finally come to an end."
Yan Ling sighed.
The girl had suffered a lot of grievances in the Li family before, but now heaven is being kind to her.
In the room
Su Jingjing touched a hot chest with both hands. The feel was wonderful. She slowly opened her eyes, and a man's chiseled face appeared in front of her. For a moment, she couldn't tell if it was reality or a dream.
Looking around at the furnishings, it was clearly her room.
She wasn't dreaming!

She leaned forward, staring intently at him, unable to hide the smile on her lips.

Li Hanting wrapped his arm around her waist and flipped her over, pinning her beneath him.
"I was really asleep, but I woke up the moment you did."
Su Jingjing wrinkled her nose. How could she have forgotten a man's wariness?

Li Hanting looked at her with doting eyes, "I came in before dawn."

Su Jingjing cupped his face and scolded him playfully, "You're still lecturing me? It's dangerous for you to drive here in the middle of the night. You can't do that again."
"I'm not going to run away."
