Li Yuehuan's eyes lit up when she saw the beautiful dress.
Su Jingjing greeted the customers and then walked over to Huanhuan. "Huanhuan, do you have a dress you like? Your second sister-in-law will give it to you."
Just as Li Yuehuan was about to happily agree, her mother glanced at her.
"Jingjing, don't pay attention to this girl, go and do your work."
Su Jingjing understood her mother-in-law's meaning and had no choice but to give up.
She turned her head to look at Huanhuan and said, "You take a look first. If you see a dress you like, tell your second sister-in-law later."
Li Yuehuan wasn't an immature child; the business of the shop was the priority.
"Okay, sister-in-law, you go ahead and get busy."
Watching Su Jingjing move with ease through the crowd, Chen Shufang and Yan Ling were filled with pride.
To avoid the two children being bumped into, Li Hanting suggested taking them out for a walk, and Li Yuehuan happily followed along.
Throughout the journey, Yuanyuan and Huanhuan's little mouths never stopped; they were either eating or talking.
An'an frowned and asked, seemingly casually, "Auntie, little sister, are you thirsty?"
The two moved their lips and said in unison, "We're thirsty."
Li Yuehuan's eyes suddenly lit up, and she tugged at Li Hanting's sleeve, "Brother, there's orange soda over there, let's go buy some."
Yuan Yuan, ever the helpful one, said, "Daddy, I'm thirsty."
I just ate some candied hawthorn, and my mouth is still sweet.
Li Hanting's deep eyes narrowed, and he spread his hands, "Dad has no money."
ah?
The two men's faces immediately fell.
Li Yuehuan pouted, "Brother, your status in the family is too low."
Li Hanting explained, "Your sister-in-law manages the money at home."
"If we're really thirsty, we'll have to go home."
Li Yuehuan puffed out her cheeks, "Going home is so boring."
An'an took out ten yuan from her pocket. "Auntie, I have money."
Li Yuehuan was stunned for a moment, then quickly picked up An'an and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
"Auntie loves you to death."
An An silently wiped the drool off her face.
"You little brat, you're complaining about your auntie?"
Li Yuehuan scolded playfully, pulling one of them with each hand as they walked towards the stall.
"Let's go buy some soda."
The stall owner kept enthusiastically hawking his wares, "Selling orange soda! It's sweet and delicious!"
"Boss, give us three bottles."
Li Yuehuan knew that her older brother didn't like to drink, so she didn't buy him a share.
Lu Shen stopped a short distance away and quietly looked at the girl in his heart.
She was always so carefree, like a little sun.
How could he bear to drag her into darkness? Lu Shen thought to himself with a self-deprecating smile.
"Brother Shen, what are you looking at?"
Qin Sheng followed his gaze, his eyes flickering.
"Hey, isn't that Li Yuehuan?"
"Brother Shen, do you want to go and say hello?"
He can't figure out what Shen Ge is thinking anymore. He clearly likes her, but he's being stubborn.
Is liking someone really that contradictory?
Lu Shen withdrew his gaze and after a long while spoke, "No need, I'm not familiar with her."
After saying that, he turned and walked towards the black market.
What, you're not familiar with me?
How did we end up being unfamiliar with each other again?
Seeing that the person had walked away, Qin Sheng quickly chased after them, "Brother Shen, I can tell that you like her, and she likes you too."
Tsk, still unmoved.
It seems he'll have to unleash his ultimate move.
"I made some inquiries, and it seems a lot of men at school like her, she..."
Lu Shen's eyes revealed an undisguised bloodlust that sent chills down one's spine. "Who dares to like her?"
It's been a long time since I've seen Brother Shen get angry; he's still as scary as ever.

The mere thought of Huanhuan nestled in someone else's arms made Lu Shen want to kill someone.
Li Yuehuan paused in her soda-drinking, staring at the corner not far away, lost in thought for a long time. She had just seen someone who looked like Lu Shen.
The thought of him suddenly made her unhappy.
The man had been avoiding her, and she hadn't spoken to him in a long time.
Li Yuehuan, wake up! She doesn't even want you.
Yuanyuan let out a burp, and seeing that her aunt still had half a bottle of soda left, she shook her arm and said, "Auntie, I've finished it all."
Li Hanting also noticed that something was wrong with his sister and asked softly, "What's wrong?"
She seems unhappy.
Li Yuehuan snapped out of her daze, not daring to meet her brother's deep, unfathomable eyes, and softly replied, "It's nothing."
She then downed half a bottle of soda in one gulp, trying to mask her unease.
Li Hanting knew she had something on her mind, but Huanhuan was grown up and had the right to speak or not.
After they had eaten and drunk their fill, they headed back. There weren't as many people in the shop anymore, and Su Jingjing and the others were no longer in a flustered state.
Seeing that everyone's faces were tired but beaming with smiles, Li Hanting thought that business was not bad.
He picked up his watch and said, "Honey, it's almost noon. Let's find a restaurant to have lunch."
"Alright."
Su Jingjing accepted the man's suggestion and even invited Sister Xia and the others to go together.
Xia Jie and the others tactfully declined, saying, "Jingjing, no need. My home is nearby, I'll just eat at home."
Sister Hui: "Yes, it's fine for your whole family to go, we'll eat at home."
Seeing that they had made up their minds, Su Jingjing did not insist any further.
