Li Cheng'an let his sister play for a while before taking the clothes from her, saying, "I'll do it."
He easily wrung out the clothes, and unsurprisingly, his silly little sister praised him, "Wow, brother is so amazing!"
In the little guy's mind, his dad is the most powerful, and his older brother is the second most powerful.
Su Jingjing interrupted the two children's conversation at the right moment, "Have you two little darlings washed your clothes?"
Hearing her mother call her "baby," Li Yuanyuan beamed and hugged her mother's leg tightly. "Mom, Yuanyuan and brother washed so clean!"
At this moment, the little guy looked exactly like a lamb waiting to be praised.
Su Jingjing smiled slightly, finding the two children adorable no matter how she looked at them.
It's wonderful that they are her precious children now. Although she doesn't know how long she can spend with them, she hopes to spend the limited time she has with them during their happy childhood.
"Great!"
Su Jingjing praised without reservation, "Take it to Mom to dry, and she can wear it to school the day after tomorrow."
Li Cheng'an's face flushed slightly. Was she calling him "baby"?
While Su Jingjing was hanging up the laundry, Yuanyuan followed her around excitedly, while An'an had disappeared somewhere.
She glanced around furtively, but didn't see An'an, and asked in confusion, "Yuanyuan, where's your brother?"
Li Yuanyuan, confused, pointed behind her without turning her head and asked, "Isn't my brother behind me?"
But then she turned her head and exclaimed, "Hey, where's my brother?"
The next second, she pouted, "Brother is mean, he won't take Yuanyuan out to play."
Su Jingjing didn't think too much about it. An'an must have gone downstairs to play. In any case, there was no need to worry about her getting lost.
This kid is elusive, much like Li Hanting's style of doing things.
"Brother must have gone out on something. Why don't you read a storybook while you wait for him, Yuanyuan?"
The little one responded with a crisp "Okay," showing his love for storybooks.
Then, with a thud, she brought out all the books she had bought that day. Even though she couldn't understand the words, she could understand the pictures, and she read them with great interest by herself.
Seeing that the little guy was engrossed in his work, Su Jingjing felt relieved and went into the kitchen to get busy.
Li Cheng'an took advantage of his sister's inattention and ran downstairs, otherwise she would definitely have followed him. There were some things he didn't want his sister to know clearly.
Sure enough, Liang Dapang was playing marbles with his friends in the corner.
"Big Fatty, come here for a second?"
For some reason, Liang Dapang was having particularly bad luck today, and his tone was slightly harsh as he asked, "Who's calling me?"
He had already lost several marbles in a row. If he kept losing, he would run out of marbles to play with and would have to secretly ask his mother for money to buy more. But given his mother's stingy nature, she would never waste money on marbles.
Seeing An'an, who was about the same height as him, standing not far away, Liang Dapang immediately fell silent. "An'an, what brings you here?"
"You've come at the right time. Hurry up and help me win a couple of rounds, and I'll give you a candy later."
After hesitating for a long time, Liang Dapang finally said the last sentence: He still couldn't bear to eat this candy. This morning when they were shopping, he had begged his mother for a long time before she agreed to buy him the candy.
Li Cheng'an ignored his anxiety and said, "Big Fatty, come here for a second."
Liang Dapang then realized the seriousness of the problem and hurriedly chased away his friends.
After everything quieted down, he walked to An'an's side and asked cautiously, "An'an, what do you want to tell me?"
Li Cheng'an stared into Liang Dapang's eyes and said, word by word, "You can't call me 'Mom' anymore."
What?
An'an actually called the old witch "Mom"?
Is it possessed by some kind of demon?
"An'an, do you know what you're saying?"
Liang Dapang was incredulous; An'an used to hate the old hag the most.
"Didn't you call her an old hag? I was just repeating what you said."
Li Cheng'an was speechless. "Anyway, she's my mother now. If you keep calling her an old hag, I won't teach you how to play marbles anymore."
The fat guy was a bit slow-witted and didn't think too much about it. He was just worried that An'an wouldn't teach him how to play marbles, so he immediately nodded in agreement.
"I will never call her that again. I will call her Aunt Jingjing."
Li Cheng'an got a satisfactory answer and turned to leave, but was stopped by Da Pang. "An'an, didn't you say you'd teach me how to play marbles?"
"Let's do it another day, I have something to do at home."
After saying that, he left without looking back.
Leaving Liang Dapang standing there bewildered in the wind, what could he possibly do at home?
Does An'an have to do housework when she gets home? That's terrible!
When Li Cheng'an returned home, he smelled a familiar aroma; it seemed he had eaten it before.
A thought suddenly occurred to him: this smelled like the stench emanating from the thing he had rejected earlier that day.
The little foodie was so tempted by the aroma that she couldn't concentrate on her storybook at all; her feet had already unconsciously led her to the kitchen. "Mommy, it smells so good!"
It smells delicious.
Su Jingjing picked up a small piece, blew on it to cool it down, and brought it close to Yuanyuan's mouth. "Here, have a bite."
The next second, the little guy looked up in surprise, "It's so delicious! I wish my brother was home too."
They're definitely siblings; they always think of each other when they're eating.
Speak of Cao Cao, and Cao Cao appears.
"Isn't my brother back now?"
Li Cheng'an walked into the kitchen with a relaxed expression and asked casually, "What's making you eat so deliciously?"
"Brother, it's meat, it's so delicious."
The silly little guy doesn't realize that this isn't an ordinary succulent.
After saying that, he looked up at his mother and said in a muffled voice, "Mom, can my brother have a bite?" He was afraid that his mother would disagree.
"sure."
