Since Xinyi had come all this way, Su Jingjing was determined to have her stay for a meal. However, there wasn't much good food at home to offer, so she suggested that they go grocery shopping together.
"Mom, I want to go too."
Yuanyuan pouted, her eyes shining.
Su Jingjing handed the decision over to An'an, "Then why don't you ask your brother if he's going?"
"Brother, let's go together."
She immediately grabbed her brother's hand and shook it, pleading in a childish voice.
“Okay.” An An suppressed a smile and nodded slowly.
"Mom, my brother has agreed, let's go quickly."
Before Su Jingjing could speak, she went into the kitchen and picked up a basket.
"Okay, coming right away."
Su Jingjing and Zhong Xinyi exchanged a smile.
An hour later, the four returned laden with their purchases, while two children licked their popsicles and bounced around in front of them.
Su Jingjing and Zhong Xinyi walked behind and chatted.
Yuanyuan saw someone selling popsicles and her mouth watered again. Seeing that it was a bit hot, she bought one for each of them.
Wow, where did you buy your popsicles?
Liang Dapang's eyes lit up, and he immediately put down his marbles and ran over, looking on with envy.
Not wanting to let a single drop of juice fall, Yuanyuan quickly made a "slurp" sound and mumbled, "Big Fatty, I bought it at the convenience store, it's so delicious!"
The children present were all swallowing hard; they wanted to eat popsicles too, but their families couldn't afford it.
Seeing that they were having a good time, Su Jingjing told them to play downstairs and come back for dinner later.
An'an and Yuanyuan readily agreed.
Just as Li Hanting finished his work, Gu Shaokai appeared at the office door.
"What brings you here today?"
"Brother Ting, I've come over to freeload a meal."
Gu Shaokai made himself some tea without any hesitation.
Li Hanting's eyes darkened, and his voice became husky.
Let's go.
Gu Shaokai quickly took a sip of tea and followed behind him, "Brother Ting, aren't you curious why I came here to freeload a meal?"

Li Hanting glanced at him sideways. Besides Zhong Xinyi, who else could attract his attention?
Gu Shaokai: "..."
As soon as he entered the residential compound, he spotted An'an and Yuanyuan in the crowd and called them over.
The two ran over hand in hand, Yuanyuan panting, "Daddy, Uncle Shaokai, what do you need me and my brother for?"
"Yuanyuan, I'm asking you, has Sister Xinyi been here before?"
Gu Shaokai pointed upstairs and asked in a low voice.
"Yes, I'm cooking upstairs with Mom."
"It's almost lunchtime, let's go home and eat with Dad."
Li Hanting led one of them upstairs, one in each hand.
"Mom, Uncle Shaokai is here."
As soon as Yuanyuan entered the house, she started shouting like a little megaphone.
Su Jingjing glanced at Zhong Xinyi and teased, "He's come looking for someone."
Zhong Xinyi paused in washing the vegetables. Didn't Gu Shaokai say they were going to talk business today?
"sister in law."
Gu Shaokai sincerely greeted him.
Su Jingjing smiled and replied, "Hey, Shaokai, you're in for a treat today. I just went grocery shopping with Xinyi, so make sure you eat a lot later."
She turned around and took the groceries from Xinyi's hands. "Xinyi, go and talk to Shaokai. Your brother-in-law and I can handle things here."
As soon as he finished speaking, Li Hanting followed his wife into the kitchen.
Taking advantage of An An and Yuan Yuan's attention being on the TV, Gu Shaokai reached out and pulled her into his arms.
"Hey, what are you doing? Someone will see you."
Zhong Xinyi never expected that a man would dare to touch her inappropriately at Jingjing's house.
"Don't be afraid, no one will be looking this way."
Gu Shaokai comforted her, then pinched her nose, "You heartless little thing, you didn't even know to come find me."
Zhong Xinyi nestled quietly in his arms, tilting her head back. "Weren't you busy?"
"Your affairs come first; nothing is more important than you."
"Okay, I'll come visit you whenever I have time."
"Uncle Shaokai, Sister Xinyi, blushing."
Yuan Yuan was standing behind them making funny faces at some point.
Zhong Xinyi quickly pushed him away, lowered her head awkwardly, and pretended to be tidying her clothes.
"You little rascal, Uncle Shaokai and your sister Xinyi are getting married soon, of course they can hug each other, and they can even..."
"Hiss." Suddenly, a pair of icy hands pinched the soft flesh of his waist, and a strong threat flashed in the little woman's eyes.
"Uncle Shaokai, what's wrong?"
Yuanyuan lay on the sofa, staring at him intently.
"It's nothing, a stray cat almost bit me just now."
The little guy got excited, "Where did this stray cat come from? Where is it? I want to play with it."
"Um... I just ran out." He continued to lie without changing his expression.
"What a pity!"
Zhong Xinyi was speechless.
After finishing their meal, Zhong Xinyi and her companion lingered for a while before driving back home.
Time flies, and today is the wedding day of Gu Shaokai and his wife.
In a luxurious bedroom, the bride sits in front of her dressing table.
"Jingjing, I'm so nervous."
A blush spread across Zhong Xinyi's face, making her beautiful and charming even without blush.
During this month, the aunt took care of everything, so she didn't have to worry about anything, but she still felt very nervous.
"Don't be nervous, we're here for you."
Su Jingjing straightened her dress and said, "You look the most beautiful today. Don't worry about what others think."
An'an and Yuanyuan had also changed their clothes. "Mommy, do I look pretty?"
The little one was wearing a pink tutu and a princess crown on her head, her pretty little face beaming with smiles.
