Yang Wei's divorce was the talk of the town in the family compound for several days. After all, divorce was a rare thing in the 1980s.
Yang Wei walked back after finishing his morning training. Since his divorce, he had become much more depressed.
To say he loved Ge Hong deeply wouldn't be an exaggeration; it's just that he was constantly being cuckolded, something no one could accept.
A group of women downstairs were staring at him. He awkwardly greeted them, "Ladies, you're all chatting."
Wu Xiuying and the others nodded. "Yes, we have nothing to do but chat under the big tree."

Zhou Qian continued nagging, "Ge Hong leaving you is definitely her loss. Do you want me to introduce you to a girl who's a hundred times better than Ge Hong?"
"A household can't function without a woman. Marrying her means she can not only take care of the children, but also have a hot meal ready when you come home from get off work."
Everyone gasped. Wasn't this just rubbing salt into Yang Wei's wounds?
Yang Wei's lips twitched; he had long anticipated that his sisters-in-law would tease him.
"Sister-in-law, I don't want to think about this right now. I just want to raise Lulu."
He now has a daughter by his side, so what girl would be willing to marry him?
Yang Hongguang's face immediately darkened. "Zhou Qian, what nonsense are you spouting?"
That woman has no sense of propriety.
"I……"
Zhou Qian met Yang Hongguang's fierce gaze and shrank back.
Oh no, how did her husband, Lao Yang, hear that?
Yang Hongguang waved his hand, "Yang Wei, don't listen to your sister-in-law's nonsense, go upstairs and check on the child."
Yang Wei gave Yang Hongguang a grateful smile, then turned and went upstairs.
“The kids are about to get out of school, why are you still chatting here? Come upstairs with me.”
Yang Hongguang glared at Zhou Qian, put his hands behind his back, and strode forward.
Zhou Qian realized it was getting late after Yang Hongguang yelled at her, so she quickly said goodbye and followed closely behind Yang Hongguang.

Li Hanting lit mosquito coils in both bedrooms.

"Mom will apply some cooling balm to you."
While wiping, she asked, "Does this feel any better?"
"Mom, it's cold."
Yuanyuan found it strange and her eyes widened instantly. She then reached out to touch it.
Su Jingjing quickly stopped her, "Baby, don't touch it with your hands. It will hurt if you accidentally touch it in your eyes."
She had a similar experience once, her eyes stinging and burning from the spiciness.
An'an stood motionless in front of Li Hanting, obediently letting him apply the cooling balm. Her father's movements were so rough; her mother was much gentler.
Li Hanting thought for a moment, "Honey, there are still two days until the weekend. I'll call my parents later and ask them to bring a mosquito net and a fan over tomorrow. We seem to have some extras at home."
Su Jingjing paused in wiping her hands, her brow furrowing slightly. "Won't this be too much trouble for Mom and Dad?"
"No, my parents called today and said they miss the two kids."
Yuanyuan tilted her head back, blinked her big eyes, and asked in a childish voice, "Mommy, will Grandpa and Grandma come over tomorrow?"
His tender little face was beaming with joy.
Su Jingjing smiled faintly and asked softly, looking down, "Yes, are you happy?"
The light shone on her, outlining her slender figure, giving her a calm and serene air.
An An smiled slightly, clearly pleased with the arrival of the two elders.
"Happy~"
Yuanyuan clapped her hands happily, "Grandpa and Grandma must have brought delicious food again!"
Su Jingjing exchanged a glance with the man. Her daughter was such a little foodie!
The next day, Chen Shufang got up early and busied herself, muttering to herself the whole time.
When Li Yuan returned from his workout, he saw boxes scattered all over the floor and wiped his sweat with a towel.
"Are you taking all of these with you?"
Without looking up, Chen Shufang replied, "Let me check again to see if anything is missing."
Li Yuan reminded her, "The most important things are the mosquito net and the fan, so that the child can get a good night's sleep."
Chen Shufang instructed the driver to load the car gently, "I know that. I brought two fans with me; they're just sitting idle at home anyway."
He smiled as he spoke, seemingly quite satisfied with his arrangements.
After finishing breakfast, the two took a car to the family compound.
I arrived at the residential compound at a little past ten o'clock, and as soon as I got out of the car, I saw a group of women chatting under a big tree across the street.
