Chapter 425 A Kiss Mark on the Neck

The next day, Su Jingjing was exhausted and sleepy, but she still managed to get out of bed with all her might.

The living room was quiet; the children must have finished breakfast and gone to school.

Suddenly I feel like she's such a lazy mother.

I ate a quick breakfast and rushed off to school.

Ye Zi leaned closer and asked curiously, "Jingjing, why is your neck all red?"

"Was it from mosquito bites?" she said, lifting up her shirt to show her arm. "I was bitten by mosquitoes last night too, and I have several red spots."

Su Jingjing quickly covered her neck; only she knew that it wasn't a mosquito.

She usually checks everything carefully before leaving the house, but she was in too much of a rush today and didn't notice.

She laughed awkwardly, "Maybe, I'll just apply some floral water when I get back."

Fortunately, the homeroom teacher, Lin Menglei, walked in at that moment, and the noisy classroom immediately fell silent.

Ye Zi reluctantly shut her mouth and eagerly took out her textbook.

Even though she was a little tired, Su Jingjing still studied diligently.

As soon as school was over, I would tidy up my textbooks and rush home.

He took out his keys, opened the door, and couldn't wait to look in the mirror as soon as he went in.

Tsk, there really is a big hickey. Luckily, Ye Zi hasn't experienced any romantic relationships, so she can't see it.

"Knock knock..."

Someone knocked on the door, so she quickly pulled down her clothes to cover herself and went out of the bathroom to open the door.

She paused, startled, when she saw the person outside the door.

"Jingjing, don't you welcome me in?"

Huang Qiurong teased her on purpose.

Su Jingjing snapped out of her daze and immediately ushered the person inside, saying, "Sister-in-law Qiu Rong, please come in and sit down."

"Please sit down, I'll get you some water."

Looking around at the living room's furnishings, Huang Qiurong was still quite shocked, even though it wasn't her first time here.

"Sister-in-law Qiu Rong, come and have some water."

Su Jingjing brought the water to her.

Huang Qiurong took a sip. "Jingjing, the house is decorated very warmly, it feels like home."

Su Jingjing looked around and smiled. "I don't understand art. I'm just messing around. As long as it's comfortable and clean, that's fine."

Huang Qiurong nodded in agreement and carried the fruit from the bag to the table. "I came here today to thank you. You provided the method for sprouting soybeans, and everyone in the residential compound made a profit. I am truly grateful to you."

"I bought some fruit yesterday, I brought some over for you."

She earned a total of several tens of yuan in the past few days, which is equivalent to a man's monthly salary. When her daughter comes home for vacation, she can also give her some extra food.

"Sister-in-law, don't be so polite. Take this fruit back for Miaomiao."

“Miaomiao has something to eat. This was specially bought by my sister-in-law for An'an and Yuanyuan.”

Huang Qiurong continued rambling, "I wanted to take it over last night, but..."

She stopped halfway through her sentence.

Su Jingjing clearly remembered what happened last night.

"Sister-in-law, I..."

"Hey!" Huang Qiurong waved her hand. "Don't be shy. It's a good thing that the couple is loving and affectionate."

"Don't worry, my sister-in-law won't talk nonsense."

"I won't bother you any longer, I'll head back now."

Jingjing's face turned bright red.

Su Jingjing took a deep breath and went to the bathroom to get some water to pat her face.

Within two minutes, Wu Xiuying and others came to express their gratitude, showering her with compliments.

Although it's a bit exaggerated, it's their honest opinion.

“Jingjing, you’re a good person. If anyone speaks ill of you in the future, your sister-in-law will fight them to the death.”

Wu Xiuying raised her fist.

Su Jingjing chuckled, "Sister-in-law, thank you."

"Don't mention it. You've told us your secrets to making money, you're a really great person." The others chimed in.

After seeing them off, Su Jingjing nestled on the sofa, rubbing her aching back.

She didn't have the energy to cook today, so she had to wait for her husband to come home and get the food.

I was lying in bed and dozing off for a while when I was woken up by noises outside the door.

"Who's back?"

She asked as she got up.

"Mom, it's me."

An'an changed her shoes in the entryway, walked to the sofa, and put her schoolbag down.

A small hand was placed on Su Jingjing's forehead to check her temperature, and the brows were slightly furrowed. "Mommy, are you feeling unwell?"

"No, why would you ask that?" Su Jingjing gently hugged him tightly.

"Because you never used to sleep on the sofa." An'an blinked her clear, bright eyes and looked up at her earnestly.

Hearing this, Su Jingjing was stunned. She had never expected that her small gesture would be noticed by her son.

My son is actually very perceptive!

"Hmm...it seems my little darling has really grown up, she actually cares so much about her mother." She smiled gently, seemingly unintentionally flicking An An's cute little nose with her finger.

At this moment, the atmosphere between mother and child became exceptionally warm and harmonious.

"Mom is fine, she just wanted to take a nap."

"By the way, where's my sister?"

"Dad is talking to Da Pang's dad downstairs, and my little sister is with him."

An'an smiled and said, "Mom, Dad came to pick me and my sister up from school today."

Su Jingjing was also surprised.

"Aren't you happy that Daddy is coming to pick you up?"

"Happy." An'an nodded vigorously, thinking that it would be even better if her mother came too.

However, he also knew that his mother was very busy, and he was considerate of her.

Li Hanting carried Yuanyuan in. When Yuanyuan saw Su Jingjing, she struggled to get down and eagerly rushed into her arms.

"Mother."

Su Jingjing lowered her eyes and gently stroked the children's hair.
