The car drove smoothly forward and arrived at the hospital half an hour later.
Li Hanting settled her in a chair, ran errands for her, collected forms and paid fees, and finally escorted her to the doctor's office, waiting for her outside.
When the test results came out, Su Jingjing gave the report to the doctor, who glanced at it and confidently told her: You are more than a month pregnant.
The two were stunned for a moment, followed by ecstatic joy.
Su Jingjing stroked her belly, and thinking about the life quietly growing inside her, she couldn't help but feel a little soft-hearted.

As they walked out of the hospital, the two of them felt like they were dreaming.
Especially for Su Jingjing, this was her first real pregnancy. It would be a lie to say she wasn't scared, but the thought of so many people accompanying her eased her fear a little.
Back in the car, Li Hanting's eyes were glued to her lower abdomen, unable to look away for even a moment.
Su Jingjing found it amusing; how could he be even more clueless than she was?
"Touch him if you want, but the child is still a tiny little thing and can't feel anything yet."
Li Hanting carefully lifted her onto his lap, lowered his head and gently stroked her lower abdomen. Just thinking about the baby inside her made his heart soften.
He pressed his hand against her soft cheek and said, "Wife, thank you."
"Honey, I should be the one thanking you."
Su Jingjing wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his ear.
With just two simple sentences, they both understood each other's feelings.
After a while, she finally let go of his hand. "Let's drive, we still need to go home and share the good news."
"Okay, let's go home."
Li Hanting settled her in the passenger seat and brought her a blanket from somewhere to cover her, claiming that she shouldn't catch a cold.
Su Jingjing let him have his way, then started the car and left the hospital. What should have been a half-hour journey took him a full hour.
