Su Jingjing made a surprising statement: she didn't mind becoming a grandmother now, as long as An'an had someone she liked.

The next day, Lin Xin'ai learned from Li Yuanyuan about Su Jingjing's feelings for her, so she took the initiative to visit her over the weekend.
Even though they hadn't seen each other for over a decade, the two still chatted happily, as if they were mother and daughter, and their relationship was very harmonious.

The next second, Li Cheng'an opened the door. When he saw Xin Xin's disheveled appearance, his heart ached. He quickly took off his coat, wrapped it around her, and carried her out.
"Xin Xin, do you feel any warmer?"
"Much better."
Lin Xin'ai tried to force a smile, but her pale face betrayed her.
"Cheng'an, I'm so sleepy, I want to go to sleep."
"Sweetie, go to sleep."
Li Cheng'an drove her back to Taoyuanju and also called a doctor to come over because Xinxin had a fever.
After a busy day, Xin Xin finally felt better. However, she kept having relapses of fever over the next few days, which worried Li Cheng'an so much that he hadn't slept well for several days.
Zhou Yan came to Li Cheng'an's side and said, "Boss, things are done. Yuan Shuijing and Xiao He will no longer appear at Beijing University."
Being expelled from Kyoto University will leave these two with this stain for the rest of their lives.
Looking at the sleeping beauty on the bed, Li Cheng'an said sadly, "Zhou Yan, it's my fault for not protecting her well."

Lin Xin'ai felt relieved upon hearing this, but then felt embarrassed.
The huge bedroom was empty except for the two of them, and she was occupying the bed.
The dark circles under his eyes were clearly visible; he certainly hadn't had a proper rest these past few days.
"Hey, do you want to come up and sleep with me?"
Li Cheng'an was stunned for a moment, and then a sweet feeling welled up in his heart after he realized what was happening.
