Tonight's events could be written into an adventure story. Li Yuanyuan's emotions were still unsettled. She thought she wouldn't be able to sleep, but unexpectedly, she fell into a deep sleep in less than five minutes.
The next day, as soon as the alarm clock rang, Li Yuanyuan groggily turned it off, got up quickly, washed up, and changed her clothes.
She gently opened the bedroom door and saw that the door to the second bedroom was open. She subconsciously assumed that Ji Lingmo had left, and finally breathed a sigh of relief.
She walked out with light steps, and the next second she found Ji Lingmo lying on the sofa with his eyes closed.
She was startled and quickly covered her mouth.
Did he sleep on the sofa all night?
Ji Lingmo opened his eyes, his gaze clear, as if he had just been resting with his eyes closed.
She sat up. "You're awake. How did you sleep last night?"
Li Yuanyuan pouted but didn't answer him. "I'm going out now. There's bread and milk in the fridge. You can take some if you're hungry. Also, remember to close the door when you leave." With that, she slung her bag over her shoulder and walked out.
Ji Lingmo watched her leave, not forgetting to remind her to eat breakfast.
Li Yuanyuan stumbled slightly and quickly quickened her pace.
As soon as she arrived at the school gate, Anna called out to her.
"Yuanyuan, was your journey home safe last night?"
"It's nothing."
Li Yuanyuan smiled at her. Anna was her best friend here, and she didn't want to hide it, but she didn't know how to bring it up.
"That's good. Let's go have breakfast together."
Anna took her arm and walked towards the cafeteria.
