During the two days back in Beijing, with her family by her side, Li Yuanyuan was happy every day. But at night, she would miss Ji Lingmo and even wake up crying in the middle of the night.
How should she tell her parents about her relationship with Ji Lingmo?
Just as she was lost in thought, there was a knock on the door, and she looked up at the doorway.
"Yuanyuan, can Mommy come in?"
Su Jingjing asked softly.
"Mom, you can do it."
Li Yuanyuan composed herself and quickly replied.
Su Jingjing walked in with a smile and sat on the edge of her bed. Looking into her eyes, she said, "Mom came to chat with you. It's been a long time since we had a heart-to-heart talk."
“Okay, Mom.” Li Yuanyuan took Su Jingjing’s arm, her voice soft and sweet.
Su Jingjing gently patted Li Yuanyuan's little hand and asked casually, "Yuanyuan, I've felt like you have something on your mind these past few days. Can you tell Mommy about it?"
Li Yuanyuan's face stiffened, her eyes darting away. She lowered her head, her fingers gripping the bedsheets tightly.
Su Jingjing keenly noticed her daughter's unusual behavior and said softly, "Baby, if you're unhappy about anything, you must tell Mom. Mom will always be there to support you and help you."
There was silence in the room for a few seconds, but Li Yuanyuan still refused to speak.
Are you in a relationship?
Li Yuanyuan subconsciously looked up and asked in surprise, "Mom, how did you find out?"
Was she making it that obvious?
Su Jingjing stroked her hair. "I already had my suspicions when you said you were staying to play with your classmates last time."
At this point, Li Yuanyuan nodded, "Mom, I am indeed in a relationship, but he is from Luoyue. I was afraid you wouldn't approve, so I dared to tell you."
Su Jingjing frowned. If Han Ting knew, he definitely wouldn't agree.
"Tell your mother if you love him, and how he usually treats you?"
Li Yuanyuan bit her lip, then slowly recounted her story with Ji Lingmo. After a while, she continued.
"Mom, he's really good to me, and I love him very much."
Seeing her daughter on the verge of tears, Su Jingjing hugged Li Yuanyuan with heartache and comforted her, "If he is really that good, Mommy won't object, but I'm afraid your dad and grandparents won't agree."
"How about this, I'll go back and work on your dad's mindset slowly. You can have him come over to our house first."
Li Yuanyuan nodded gratefully, "Mom, you must help me."
"Okay, don't be sad."
Su Jingjing wiped away her tears, seeing how worried her daughter was.
The next morning, Li Yuanyuan was taking a walk near Taoyuanju when she looked up and saw Ji Lingmo standing in front of her. She was stunned for a moment, and then she started to shed tears.
Unable to suppress his longing any longer, Ji Lingmo stepped forward and embraced her.
"Baby, do you miss me?"
"Waaaah..." Li Yuanyuan kept crying, "You bastard, you're actually giving me the silent treatment."
"Baby, I'm sorry, it's all my fault."
Ji Lingmo cupped her face and tenderly kissed away her tears.
"Don't cry anymore, okay?"
Li Yuanyuan wasn't a pretentious person, but in front of him, she really wanted to throw a tantrum without restraint.
After crying, her emotions gradually stabilized.
She looked up at him with her red and swollen eyes and said, "Ji Lingmo, I really love you so much, I don't want to be separated from you."
Hearing his darling's confession, Ji Lingmo couldn't help but smile.
He felt it was all worth it.
Ji Lingmo kissed her pink lips, "Baby, do you know how long I've been waiting to say that? Can you say it again?"

Ji Lingmo bent down and kissed her passionately, wishing he could devour her whole.
Just then, a cough interrupted them.
Li Yuanyuan opened her confused eyes, and when she saw her parents and brother not far away, she immediately pushed away from Ji Lingmo's embrace.
Ji Lingmo asked, "Baby, what's wrong?"
"My parents are..."
Ji Lingmo then turned around and met the Li family formally for the first time, but he was not afraid at all.
Li Hanting's face was dark. "Yuanyuan, what's going on?"
He was furious when a foreign lecher kissed his daughter.
"Mom and Dad, brother and sister-in-law, I..."
Li Yuanyuan looked at them awkwardly, unsure of where to begin.
Ji Lingmo squeezed her hand, signaling for him to come over, and calmly faced them.
"Uncle, Aunt, Brother and Sister-in-law, hello, I am Yuanyuan's boyfriend Ji Lingmo. I'm sorry that it's been so long since we started dating before I came to visit you."
Li Hanting didn't even glance at him, as if Ji Lingmo didn't exist.
Su Jingjing stepped in to smooth things over, and smiled at Ji Lingmo, "Come in and sit down."
In the living room
The Li family members sat together, with Ji Lingmo sitting opposite them. At this moment, Li Yuanyuan was being held back by Su Jingjing.
"Mr. Ji, right? You and Yuanyuan have been dating for a while now. Could you introduce yourself?"
At her daughter's prompting, Su Jingjing asked Ji Lingmo a question.
To be honest, she had a pretty good impression of Ji Lingmo. His appearance and temperament were excellent, and he could speak Chinese. However, she had heard from her daughter that his mother was Chinese, so it wasn't surprising.
"Auntie, you can just call me Ling Mo."
