Chapter 11 This Feels Good

Tian Chengcheng snorted and continued walking.

She had to deal with this dangerous guy. If she couldn't, she would have to find a way to stay away from him.

Fu Xinhan grabbed her hair.

"It hurts, it hurts!" Tian Chengcheng walked too hard, pulling her scalp so hard that it caused a piercing pain.

Fu Xinhan quickly let go of his hand and said helplessly, "I didn't mean to do that. Are you okay?"

"My scalp is almost torn off!" Tian Chengcheng pouted in pain, her eyes wide open, looking so adorable.

Fu Xinhan became even more panicked, "Why are you angry?"

Tian Chengcheng almost choked.

So she was angry at herself, and this naughty kid had no idea why she was angry?

My chest feels so stuffy!

Fu Xinhan's eyes were full of confusion.

Tian Chengcheng suppressed her anger and tried hard to force a smile.

"Falling into the water can be fatal. If Li Qiuju drowns, you will be responsible for her life."

I have to say something harsh to scare this brat.

Fu Xinhan said: "She was the first to do it."

Tian Chengcheng looked at his ignorant and innocent eyes and suddenly felt a little bit sorry.

Ultimately, Li Qiuju really reaped what she sowed.

Self-defense is fine, but—

"She got her comeuppance for her bad deeds and fell into the river. If you want to teach her a lesson, do it quietly and don't let anyone see. Got it?"

Fu Xinhan nodded and said, "Remember, don't let anyone see it next time."

Tian Chengcheng slipped and almost fell out.

Isn't it the point to not let people see it?

"Be careful, why are you so stupid? You fall down while walking." Fu Xinhan grabbed her, his tone was unfriendly but full of concern.

Tian Chengcheng nodded, stood up and continued walking back.

I suddenly remembered it while walking.

It seems like I forgot to enlighten him.

Forget it, I'll try to persuade him slowly when I get a chance. Look at his attitude of not caring about anything, it didn't develop in a day or two.

Someone spoke too quickly and mentioned that Li Qiuju pushed Tian Chengcheng into the water.

As soon as Tian Chengcheng entered the room, Tian Hengyuan pulled her over to check on her. "Fubao, are you okay?"

"It's okay." Tian Chengcheng said it was okay, but still told the story about Li Qiuju.

It’s not that she likes to complain, but she is afraid that Li Qiuju will blame her afterwards.

The village chief was very angry and grabbed Tian Laosan and gave him a scolding. Tian Laosan tucked his sleeves into his hands, squatted on the ground and listened silently without saying a word.

It looks so pitiful.

Tian Chengcheng returned to the kang to warm up. Seeing two White Rabbit candies still on the windowsill, she picked them up and handed them to the old lady, "Grandma, please have some."

"Grandma doesn't eat this precious thing." said the old lady.

Tian Chengcheng hesitated for a moment, found a large bowl, filled it with hot water, peeled a candy and put it in to melt.

When cooking pork, add some sugar to it, the meat will become more elastic and taste better. When the rich daughter-in-law put the ingredients together to stew the pig's head, she quietly poured the sugar water into it.

The rich wife didn't take it seriously and just gave it a bowl of water.

Fu Xinhan saw it clearly, "Why are you pouring sugar water?"

"You'll know when it's cooked." Tian Chengcheng said confidently.

Fu Xinhan didn't say anything else and waited for the pig's head to come out of the pot.

The pork head needs to be cooked for an hour.

Tian Chengcheng saw that there were about three pounds of pig blood left and cut it in half. "Take this one home."

Fu Xinhan said, "I only want a palm-sized piece. Can I exchange it for a steamed bun? Half a piece is fine."

Although pig blood tastes good, it does not satisfy your hunger.

Tian Chengcheng showed him the bag of black bark and said, "This is the only one."

Fu Xinhan was stunned for a moment, then stuffed half a piece of steamed bread from his pocket into her hand and said, "Eat this."

Tian Chengcheng's eyes became teary as she looked at the steamed bread in her hand.

The kid is a bit naughty, but he doesn't have any bad intentions.

"It's too rough. I'm having meat today." Tian Chengcheng stuffed the steamed bun into his hands. "I used to live with Li Qiuju, but she kicked me out yesterday. This is given to you by the village chief. Take it. After we exchange it for food tomorrow, we'll have something to eat."

Although she doesn't like steamed corn bread, she can't change the current situation of its scarcity.

Everyone has to tighten their belts to make ends meet, and she doesn't expect to rely on others for help. She has to rely on herself.

Fu Xinhan didn't answer.

Tian Chengcheng stuffed it directly into his pocket and said, "Just take it if I tell you to. Come on."

When Fu Xinhan followed, he saw Tian Chengcheng took out the small basket she was carrying, which contained some wild vegetables. She gave half of it to Fu Xinhan.

"Go back and wash and cut it up, cook it with the steamed bread, and add some pig's blood and pig's head meat, and have a good meal with your family."

Tian Chengcheng doesn't care about this, good days are coming soon.

But in Fu Xinhan's eyes, the meaning is completely different.

He was used to other people's contempt and ridicule, and suddenly someone was so nice to him that he didn't know what to do for a moment.

But it feels good.

He silently noted in his heart: I must be nice to this little girl in the future. Although she is a little silly and stupid, she is still very cute.

At this time, Tian Chengcheng had no idea that she had been labeled a silly girl.

The aroma of pig head meat wafted over the entire Wangshan Village.

Everyone's face was filled with smiles. They hadn't been so happy in many years.

After everything was done, the wealthy wife led people to scoop half a spoonful of pork soup for each household, and she also took her share back.

Tian Chengcheng kept the cooked pork liver and three pounds of pork belly. The village chief sent someone to take away the rest. They prepared to set off in the early morning to sell meat in the city, where the price was high.

Considering that Tian Chengcheng was young, she was not allowed to go with them, and Tian Hengyuan was allowed to go instead.
