Chapter 6: Distribute Food to Everyone

"Wow, it's raining!" Tian Chengcheng raised her little head, stretched out her hands to catch the raindrops, and jumped up and down excitedly, "I was right, wasn't I?"

Fu Xinhan looked at her and asked, "Have you ever had your mouth blessed?"

Tian Chengcheng glared at him and said, "Stop talking nonsense! My name is Fubao, so I'm lucky."

Fu Xinhan said nothing more, and the two continued walking.

The rain soaked the soil, and the pine branches rolled more smoothly.

However, after they walked for a while, the rain got heavier and the mountain road became steeper and slippery.

Tian Chengcheng could only shout to stop, "We can't go any further, it's too dangerous. I remember there's a cave not far away, let's go there to take shelter from the rain."

The two men were exhausted after dragging the wild boar into the cave.

The rain outside was getting heavier and heavier, and Tian Chengcheng was in trouble.

A little rain would help drag the wild boar, but with such heavy rain the road would be very muddy and it would be difficult.

"Fubao! Fubao?"

Suddenly, Tian Hengyuan's voice was faintly heard outside.

Tian Chengcheng was overjoyed and hurriedly stood at the entrance of the cave and shouted, "Uncle, uncle, I'm here."

However, the next second, she slipped and fell into the mud. The key point was that her face was facing Fu Xinhan.

Tian Chengcheng blinked, looking confused.

Fu Xinhan was stunned for a moment, then walked over and picked her up, "Are you okay?"

"My clothes are dirty." She patted the mud off her body, and the more she patted, the dirtier she became.

"Stupid, it will be gone after it dries and you rub it." Fu Xinhan said.

"..." Tian Chengcheng was speechless.

Tian Hengyuan hurried over, his clothes were all wet. Seeing that Tian Chengcheng was fine, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Fubao, why did you come up the mountain alone? It's so dangerous! Don't come here again, okay? Hey, why are your clothes dirty? Did you get hurt?"

"Uncle, I'm fine. I just accidentally slipped and got my clothes dirty." Tian Chengcheng lowered his head, looking pitiful.

Tian Hengyuan couldn't bear to blame her, so he touched her head and then saw Fu Xinhan behind her.

"Fubao, what is this?"

Fu Xinhan stood aside and was shocked to see Tian Chengcheng's completely different behavior.

Only after hearing Tian Hengyuan ask him did he look at Tian Hengyuan.

Is this what college students look like?

"Uncle, his name is Fu Xinhan, a friend I just met. It's a long story. Uncle, take a look at this first."

Tian Chengcheng removed the pine branches covering the wild boar, her face full of joy.

After seeing clearly, Tian Hengyuan was so shocked that he couldn't speak clearly, "Is this a wild boar?"

This was the first time he had seen such a big wild boar.

After the shock subsided, Tian Hengyuan nervously pulled Tian Chengcheng to check on her, "Fubao, are you really okay? Are you not hurt?"

When a wild boar goes mad, it can be fatal, and even the hunters in the village dare not provoke it easily.

"It's okay!" Tian Chengcheng turned around and jumped twice to prove that she was not injured.

Then he gave a general account of what had happened.

The wild boar killed itself! ?

Not only Tian Hengyuan, but Fu Xinhan was also shocked!

He looked at Tian Chengcheng silently and thought: What good luck!

The name Fubao is not called in vain!

When the rain subsided a little, the three of them dragged the wild boar back.

Although it was much easier with Tian Hengyuan's help, it still took a lot of effort.

The three men dragged the wild boar to the corner of the yard, covered it with oil paper, and then went into the house.

"Mom, we're back."

Tian Hengyuan has always been calm, but at this moment his voice was filled with unconcealable excitement.

The old lady was already extremely anxious.

I heard some noise outside and looked out the window. I only saw something furry but couldn't see what it was.

"You found a treasure, why are you so happy?"

The old lady saw Tian Chengcheng was wet and waved to her, "Fubao, take off your wet clothes and warm up on the kang. Don't get sick."

Tian Hengyuan carried Tian Chengcheng to the kang and told her about the wild boar.

The old lady was equally shocked.

"A wild boar killed itself? That's bizarre! I've lived my whole life, and this is the first time I've heard of this. Our Fubao is a blessed child. Let grandma take a look. Is he okay? Don't go into the mountains anymore. It's so dangerous!"

Obviously, the old lady and Tian Hengyuan cared more about her safety than the wild boar.

Tian Chengcheng felt a warm feeling in her heart. She looked up with a well-behaved face and said, "Grandma, I remember this."

"Good boy Fubao." The old lady touched her head lovingly and looked at Fu Xinhan.

He was already lightly dressed and got caught in the rain.

Now his clothes were all wet and his hair was a mess, but his gray face was clean after being washed by the rain, and his facial features were surprisingly delicate.

His lips turned purple from the cold.

But even so, he endured it silently.

The old lady was a worldly-wise person, and she was shocked when she saw Fu Xinhan.

Such a young child has such resilience. If he has any opportunity in the future, he will definitely be able to succeed.

It’s a pity that I was born in this remote place and am destined to suffer a lot.

The old lady felt a little pity in her heart, and asked Tian Hengyuan to boil some hot water to warm Fu Xinhan up, and also found some old clothes for him.

Although it was old clothes, it was much better than the one he was wearing before.

After drinking the ginger soup, I felt warm and the rain stopped completely.

Tian Chengcheng put on her old clothes and discussed the matter of the wild boar.

"Grandma, let Grandpa Fang find someone to help us kill the pig."

The old lady touched her head and said, "Our Fubao is a sensible child. Hengyuan, go and ask the village chief to come over."

That's exactly what she meant.

Catching wild boars was originally a family business, but the problem arose during this year of famine.

As people from the same village, we cannot just eat and drink our fill while watching our fellow villagers starve to death. Our conscience will not allow it and it may even lead to trouble.

Soon, the village chief came with Tian Hengyuan, and Hu Zi followed.

"Sister-in-law, what do you want to call me for?"

The old lady told the story of the wild boar and the result of her discussion with Tian Chengcheng.

“Village chief, although it was Fubao who caught the wild boar, he is a kind-hearted child and doesn’t want to see others starve.

He told me that he wanted to slaughter the wild boar and take it to the city to exchange for food to help everyone get through this difficult time.

As for the grain, we can return it when we have more money in the future. If it is really difficult, we won't force it!

Consider it Fubao's thanks to everyone. But the child has a portion of the food, so we have to leave some for others."

The village chief was shocked and his eyes turned red with excitement.

"Sister-in-law, thank you so much, Fubao, you are everyone's lifesaver."

"Village chief, you've got it wrong. Our village is one big family. Fubao was driven out yesterday, and everyone couldn't afford to eat, so they were still trying to squeeze out enough food for Fubao. In the final analysis, this is a blessing for everyone," said the old lady.

"Yes, it's a blessing!" The village chief looked at Tian Chengcheng with satisfaction, "Fubao, from now on you will be the Fubao of our village! If you have any problems, just come to Grandpa Fang."

"Thank you, Grandpa Fang." Tian Chengcheng blinked her big eyes and smiled happily.
