Jiang Duoduo likes exactly what Shen Chuanyu dislikes. The idea of getting Shen Chuanyu's autograph with a sweet smile is perfect in that it will earn his disgust.
The original text rarely mentions Shen Chuanyu's hobbies, so Jiang Duoduo could only do the opposite of what Jiang Yuqin told her.
In short, she wanted Shen Chuanyu to hate her as much as possible.
Jiang Yuqin was still explaining Shen Chuanyu's various habits and hobbies to Ye Nian and didn't notice Jiang Duoduo's little actions.
As the queue moved slowly forward, Jiang Duoduo sized up Shen Chuanyu.
Shen Chuanyu leaned back in his chair, having changed out of his performance costume into a white casual outfit. His well-defined knuckles held a pen, the knuckles turning bluish-white, as he forcefully wrote his signature on the white paper.
The scene was quiet and beautiful, but the only thing Jiang Duoduo couldn't understand was his messy signature.
He's a handsome young man, but unfortunately his handwriting is terrible.
When it was the turn of the five of them, Jiang Duoduo was the last in line. She saw Ye Nian blushing and constantly stealing glances at Shen Chuanyu, who was blushing and shy. She took the autographed paper from Shen Chuanyu and then stepped aside with a reluctant expression.
Then, Jiang Duoduo took a step forward and, mimicking Jiang Yuqin's address, said, "Yu Yu, may I shake your hand?" She extended her hand.
These words silenced all the girls in line, including those whispering amongst themselves after getting autographs. They all turned to look at her, waiting to see her embarrass herself.
Jiang Yuqin was about to faint from anger at Jiang Duoduo. "What is Jiang Duoduo talking about? She's crazy! How can she have no self-awareness at all?"
“Exactly!” The other two sisters also couldn’t understand Jiang Duoduo’s actions.
Ye Nian simply watched the scene unfold, but with her sharp eyes, she suddenly noticed the chocolate smeared on Jiang Duoduo's lips. Seeing this, she said rather cunningly, "I don't think it's that exaggerated." She paused, then added, "Strange, I think Duoduo's lip color looks particularly beautiful today. I wonder what shade of lipstick she's wearing."
"Holy crap!" Jiang Yuqin's eyes widened. "Duoduo is such a good actress! I thought she didn't like Yuyu! She even secretly put on Yuyu's favorite lipstick color on the corner of her mouth. This brownish-black color actually looks pretty good. No wonder she was so eager to shake hands with Brother Yu. When she comes back, I'll have to ask her for the link."
Ye Nian glanced at Jiang Yuqin speechlessly...
On Jiang Duoduo's side, Shen Chuanyu continued signing autographs without changing his expression. Before he could refuse, Fang Chu spoke first, smiling and saying, "Sorry, this event's perk does not include a handshake."
Jiang Duoduo's initial plan was that even if Shen Chuanyu rejected her, she would still shamelessly continue to ask, but she never expected that Fang Chu would be the one to answer her.
She glanced at Fang Chu, then looked dejected. "Alright then."
Seeing the little girl's downcast and disappointed expression, Fang Chu felt a pang of pity.
As Jiang Duoduo withdrew her hand, Fang Chu took a big step forward and then extended his hand, saying, "But I can shake your hand."
Startled, Jiang Duoduo quickly withdrew her hand, saying, "No need!"
Fang Chu frowned at Jiang Duoduo's resistance and intense reaction.
Is he ugly or what?
He was momentarily at a loss as to how to retract his outstretched hand.
Shen Chuanyu took in all of their actions. He smiled slightly, never expecting that Old Chu would have such a day.
He stood up and handed the autograph to Jiang Duoduo.
"Thank you..." Jiang Duoduo ignored Fang Chu's raised hand, took the autograph from Shen Chuanyu, and thanked him.
When Jiang Duoduo accepted the autograph, the group of girls behind her started making a huge fuss.
Jiang Yuqin wished she could rush over and take Jiang Duoduo's place, "Duoduo, what are you doing? Quickly shake hands with Chuchu!"
