Lin Man was awkwardly ushered into the elevator by Assistant Chen. She was filled with all sorts of confusion and resentment. Qin Jue was still completely infatuated with Jiang Duoduo and didn't realize that he only believed Jiang Duoduo's words.
But why didn't Master Qin help her?
As she was thinking, the elevator stopped briefly on the 40th floor, and two company executives and several employees entered.
Employee A: "I just can't believe that President Qin really took that girl to the meeting."
Executive A: "Why would I lie to you? You have no idea, throughout the entire meeting, President Qin was whispering to a young girl, publicly displaying their affection. It made me lose my mind!"
Executive B: "Don't even mention it! I just can't understand it. Why is it that someone as good at flirting as me can't find a wife, but someone as quiet as President Qin... found one?"
Executive A: "You really dare to say that! Don't you know your own status and President Qin's status? Otherwise, if you kept a bunch of pets, women would flock to you."
Employee A: "What animal?"
Executive A: "Of course, it's Land Rover, Jaguar, Hummer..."
Lin Man thought the biggest blow she would suffer today was being kicked out of the company by Mr. Qin, but little did she know that an even bigger blow was waiting for her.
Qin Jue even brought Jiang Duoduo to the meeting?
She had assumed that after returning to China, Mr. Qin would definitely drive Jiang Duoduo away from Qin Jue, but now, Mr. Qin's actions were not what she expected.
She could no longer sit idly by and wait for her fate. No matter what means she had to use, she had to bring Qin Jue to his senses.

At the office door.
When Jiang Duoduo learned that Qin Jue had locked the door, she immediately ran over to open it.
When the door opened, Mr. Qin was the first person to be seen.
Old Master Qin's face was cold, and his eyes were sharp, which frightened Jiang Duoduo so much that she immediately turned to look at Qin Jue, her tone accusing: "Mr. Qin, how could you lock Grandpa out?"
Qin Jue was packing up the first-aid kit and sighed. He had finally given up the urge to confess to Duo Duo earlier. He couldn't imagine what it would be like if he confessed to her now and she accepted.
Her startled reaction was already vivid in his mind.
Master Qin was quite pleased with Duoduo's reaction to complaining about her rebellious grandson. He then thought to himself, if Lin Man had encountered this situation… Lin Man certainly wouldn't have complained about Qin Jue; she might even have offered him a full explanation.
Comparing the two, Master Qin was even more satisfied with Jiang Duoduo.
"It's alright." Old Master Qin said with a slightly arrogant tone, then said to Jiang Duoduo, "Grandpa won't hold a grudge against his unfilial grandson."
"Grandpa is so generous!" Jiang Duoduo winked at Old Master Qin cautiously, "President Qin didn't lock the door on purpose."
Jiang Duoduo could clearly sense that the relationship between Qin Jue and Old Master Qin was a bit strained. After all, Qin Jue was her boss and treated her so well, so she had to speak up for him.
Jiang Duoduo's tactfulness pleased Mr. Qin even more. "I don't blame him." He paused, then asked, "You come to the company every day?"
"Forehead……"
Seeing Jiang Duoduo's blank expression, Mr. Qin added, "I know about your contract."
Jiang Duoduo nodded, "Mhm! I come here almost every day, unless something comes up and I can't come...hehe."
"How is Qin Jue treating you?"
"Great! Mr. Qin is very good to me!"
Are you still studying?
"Yes. I just graduated from high school. In two months, after summer vacation, I will go to university."
