The KTV on the fifth floor was in the far corner, and a dozen or so high school students went in together, laughing and joking.
Throughout the journey, Ji Yue stood by Jiang Duoduo's side, as if he and his group of good buddies were complete strangers, with only Jiang Duoduo in his eyes, protecting her tightly.
As they reached the door, Ji Yue gently reminded Duo Duo, "Watch out for the steps."
Jiang Duoduo had been quiet and reserved the whole way. Hearing Ji Yue's words, she glanced at him and said, "I'm not blind."
Ji Yue's concern for the details was met with a cold shoulder from Jiang Duoduo. He didn't think much of it, but Ye Nian, who was slightly closer to them, took it to heart.
Ye Nian glared at Jiang Duoduo, cursing her inwardly, "You ungrateful wretch!"
Over there, the three sisters were arguing with the group of boys, but the boys were still begging them to go to karaoke together, so their current bickering was just for fun.
When they entered the large private room, they stopped fooling around with the boys, since they were there to have fun.
The private room was large, with two karaoke machines, a sofa, a coffee table, and on the coffee table were cakes, various kinds of wine, and fruit platters.
After they joined the private room, the two sofas in the previously empty large room were immediately filled with people.
Jiang Duoduo sat down with Ye Nian. She had only been sitting for a short while in the deafening environment when she felt an urge to leave.
In her previous life, she had been ill for most of her life and had never been to such a place before, so she found it difficult to adapt.
In just over ten minutes, Jiang Yuqin and Ye Nian got to know the boys from Class 3 and Class 8 and started hanging out together.
Only Jiang Duoduo sat quietly on the sofa, her head down, playing on her phone.

The boys were playing cards. Besides Ye Nian and her three girlfriends, there were a few other girls from their class who had been invited over, and they were watching the game while hugging pillows and eating fruit platters.
They were hoping to show off their card skills in front of the girls, but Ji Yue's mind was clearly not on the cards, so how could they not be disappointed?
Ji Yue admitted it, "Ahem... I'll drink the penalty wine."
As Ji Yue was drinking from his wine glass, Jiang Duoduo, who had just finished a game, saw him.
A handsome young man, with his well-defined knuckles, held a glass of wine close to his lips. He tilted his head back slightly and downed the wine in one gulp with an air of dominance, the way his Adam's apple bobbed up and down was particularly alluring.
The girls surrounding Ji Yue exclaimed in fangirl voices, "So handsome!"
Jiang Duoduo snapped out of her daze, turned her gaze back to her phone, and then felt a chill run down her spine.

Ji Yue drank alcohol!
I can't possibly... I can't possibly do that to her...
Jiang Duoduo couldn't imagine the scene that she could easily picture.
When everyone was having the most fun, the door to the private room was opened.
The boy who came in was wearing a suit, an exquisitely crafted pure black jacket, a white shirt, and a tie. Although it was a formal outfit, his buzz cut and roguish charm made him seem overly unruly.
The eye-catching boy strode with his long, straight legs into the lively group of boys at the coffee table area, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Am I... late?"
He spoke slowly and deliberately, and finally, he focused his gaze on Jiang Duoduo.
Jiang Duoduo, who had just started a game, clearly felt a cold glint in the distance. She shuddered and looked up.
The sight of Gu Yan startled her, and she widened her eyes.
