When Assistant Chen learned that Ye Nian couldn't make it, he was incredibly excited when he replied immediately.
With a trembling heart, he held his phone for a full three hours before finally running up to Qin Jue and saying calmly and cautiously, "Miss Ye has something come up, so you don't need to meet her tonight."
Qin Jue simply gave him a look that said, "It's none of my business," and then continued with his work.
The matter of Assistant Chen contacting Ye Nian was originally Assistant Chen's unilateral decision and had nothing to do with Qin Jue.
Upon receiving a glance from President Qin, Assistant Chen felt that he was one step further away from a promotion and a raise.
Qin Jue thought about Duoduo coming over that evening, and then casually reminded Assistant Chen, "Jiang Duoduo will be coming over tonight."

But Ye Nian insisted on dragging her along to a newly opened beverage shop for milk tea.
Ye Nian's frustration finally subsided when they arrived at the milk tea shop. "Did you see Jiang Duoduo's awkward expression? Serves her right!"
When she was dismissed from school, she actually thought of leaving first. Although I didn't know what she had to do, I could vaguely sense that she must be planning to go on a date with Ji Yue or Gu Yan.

When Ye Nian saw Jiang Duoduo so excited for the first time, his eyes lit up, and he tried to eavesdrop on whether the other person was male or female.

After sending the message, Jiang Duoduo put away her phone, calmly picked up her milk tea, and took a sip.
With a smile on his face as if nothing had happened, he explained to the shocked Ye Nian, "Just a friend of mine."
