Chapter 107 With great power comes great responsibility

Chapter 107 With great power comes great responsibility

Just as he was about to shoot, Peter stood at the door. Rong Huan saw the robber behind him and shouted,

"Holy crap, Peter!"

Both parties were obviously shocked, and Peter was the first to react and rushed towards the robbers.

The robber was no pushover either, and he immediately pointed his gun at Peter Parker.

He grinned and pulled the trigger.

If it was an ordinary family, he would definitely succeed, but he was unlucky enough to rob Spider-Man's house.

Peter quickly grabbed the wall, got out of his reach, and then threw it away.

Spider-Man delivered his steel-breaking fist to the kidnapper's side.

The kidnapper's pistol flew out and he fell to the ground.

His cheeks were in great pain, and when he opened his mouth he spat out several bloody teeth.

Really looking for teeth everywhere.

Peter landed and punched the man again, only stopping when he saw the man fainted.

Seeing that Peter had solved the problem, Rong Huan ran to the two people hiding in the corner.

"Are you all right?"

Ben Parker was prepared to be hit by a bullet, but Peter came back in time to prevent the tragedy from happening.

He first turned around to check on his frightened wife before speaking.

"We were not hurt."

Rong Huan breathed a sigh of relief. Peter tied the man up with the rope brought back by the kidnappers and walked over anxiously.

"Uncle Ben, Aunt May!"

Ben Parker comforts his nephew.

"We're fine, Peter."

Rong Huan used her cell phone to call the police, who quickly arrived and took the criminal away.

Peter looked at the kidnapper's familiar clothes and realized that he was the robber he had caught a few weeks ago but who had escaped.

He didn't take it seriously at all and thought there would be no problem, but what happened tonight made Peter Parker sweat.

He didn't dare to think about what would happen if they didn't get back in time.

Peter hugged Aunt May and Uncle Ben tightly in fear, his eyes turning red.

Rong Huan stood by and looked at this heartwarming scene with a little envy. She was bothered by the system assistant who had to choose between joining or leaving.

"Oh, I wish I had my family around me."

The assistant looked down on me.

"Didn't you just come back from Gotan? Are you thinking about it again?"

Rong Huan rolled her eyes.

"What do you know as an artificial intelligence? It's not enough for our family to be together all the time."

The assistant snorted heavily, ignored her and went offline.

When Peter returned to the room, he realized that his clothes were soaked with cold sweat. He looked at the little girl with gratitude.

"Xiao Rong, if it weren't for you, I would definitely not be able to catch up."

Rong Huan shook her head.

"You saved Uncle Ben and Aunt May. You should thank yourself."

Rong Huan had been busy all day and was a mess. She took her clothes and went to take a shower.

Just then there was a knock on the door. Peter got up to open it and saw Ben Parker standing outside.

He came into the house with two glasses of milk, smiling.

"I'm so sorry for you today, Peter."

Peter's face flushed red, and he lowered his head.

"I'm sorry, Uncle Ben, I shouldn't have run away."

Uncle Ben smiled, the wrinkles around his eyes deepened, and he shook his head.

"I should apologize, Peter. I don't think you're being idle."

"You are actually very brave and willing to become a superhero to protect ordinary people."

Peter was eager to agree, and he couldn't help but hug Uncle Ben when he heard this.

Ben Parker patted Peter's not-so-broad shoulders gently, which would shoulder greater responsibilities in the future.

"Peter, I want you to remember that with great power comes great responsibility."

.........

Rong Huan came out in her pajamas, her fair face turned pink from the steam. She squinted her eyes comfortably and showed her little teeth to Peter.

"I'm done!"

Peter spread the quilt on the ground, looked up when he heard the words, and chuckled when he saw the little girl's appearance.

"Go to bed and wait for me. I'll blow dry your hair."

Twenty minutes later Peter was using a hair dryer to blow dry the sleepy girl's hair.

Soft hair kept slipping through his fingers, and Peter secretly rubbed Rong Huan's hairy head several times.

Soon the lights were turned off and the room was plunged into darkness.

Rong Huan was so sleepy when she was blow-drying her hair with the buzzing sound of the hair dryer filling her ears, but now that she has calmed down, she feels more awake.

She turned over and looked at Peter on the ground in the moonlight.

"Can't you sleep?"

The boy's voice suddenly rang out, startling Rong Huan and causing the quilt to tremble noticeably.

Peter saw it clearly and apologized quickly.

"Sorry, did I scare you?"

Rong Huan was caught peeking at someone else and got his toes tapped twice through the quilt.

"It's okay, it's okay. I didn't expect you weren't asleep either."

The room suddenly fell silent. Rong Huan recalled Tony's hasty departure and asked,

"Peter, do you know where Papa is?"

However, in Iron Man's eyes, Spider-Man is still a child, so he will naturally not drag him into the chaos.

He shook his head.

"I'm not sure, but it seems that Mr. Stark has not been in the building recently."

Not in the building?

Rong Huan guessed that the Avengers might have been on a mission, and something happened afterwards that led to the split.

The system assistant refused to reveal a single word no matter how we asked, and was surprisingly tight-lipped.

She gradually felt sleepy, yawned, poked her head out from the warm quilt, said good night to Peter, and fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning, Peter hurriedly turned off the alarm clock. He breathed a sigh of relief when he noticed that Rong Huan was not awake but just burrowed into the quilt with a frown on her face.

He quietly packed his schoolbag and gently opened the door.

Rong Huan obviously doesn't have the habit of being particular about her bed. She can sleep soundly until dawn in any environment.

She rubbed her eyes and got up, only to find that the quilt on the floor was empty.

There was a note on the bedside table.

[I'm going to school and will be back in the afternoon]

There is also a small spider sketched next to it.

Rong Huan touched the cute little spider pattern and laughed.

Aunt Mei had already prepared breakfast, with a few slices of red date bread on the plate.

The room was filled with the strong aroma of dates, as if dates were everywhere. Rong Huan said good morning to Aunt Mei sweetly.

Aunt Mei and her husband have only one nephew, who is very fond of the obedient, soft and pretty little girl.

She nodded gently and casually placed the bread on Rong Huan's plate.

Rong Huan had never eaten date-flavored bread, so she took a big bite with great anticipation.

She chewed twice and then became stiff.

It seemed like there was stone in my mouth instead of bread. I didn't know why I couldn't taste the bread that smelled so good.

It seemed that she was not eating red date bread, but chewing a stone.

Rong Huan could even hear the crackling sound in her ears when she chewed hard.

She wanted to spit it out, but when she saw Aunt Mei's expectant expression, she swallowed it back.

Try your best to control your expression and raise your thumb.

"Not bad, quite chewy."

Aunt Mei happily placed the remaining bread in front of Rong Huan.

Rong Huan:.......

Rong Huan calmly put down the bread, picked up the milk and drank it all, then jumped off the chair.

"I'm going back to Peter's room first."

Only after closing the door did Rong Huan let out a long breath and rubbed her stomach.
