Chapter 55: Action

Roy didn't notice the bomb in the laboratory at all, and Kenny ridiculed her in front of the adults.

She returned to the laboratory in a rage. She looked at the boy who looked like a monster on the table and whipped him hard a few times before she felt relieved.

Noah spat out a mouthful of blood, and the hatred in his eyes was so thick that it seemed to be turning into substance.

"Roy...you...will...pay the price..."

Roy didn't care. She pushed the dosage of the drug to the maximum and laughed crazily at Noah who was twisted in pain.

"You are a piece of trash now. If you were not still useful, you would have been thrown away long ago. What qualifications do you have to talk to me?"

Noah curled up his body desperately, trying to resist the severe pain. He stared at Roy, looking forward to her death.

Here, Kenny walked into the laboratory whistling in a good mood. Seeing Rong Huan with her head down, he asked her if the bomb was safe.

Rong Huan said indifferently,

"It's OK. I see there seems to be a test sample on the table. Who is that?"

Kenny said casually,

"Oh, him. He was a test subject before. His abilities were not weak, but he escaped and was caught. Later, he was used as Roy's experimental subject. That woman tortured him a lot. Tsk, he really deserved it."

Rong Huan's ears twitched slightly when she heard Kenny's last sentence, and she walked out with a fake smile.

"I'm going back first."

Kenny was so caught up in his smugness that he ignored her actions.

Naturally, he didn't notice that the moment Rong Huan turned around, her eyes turned red and her face was so gloomy that it seemed like water could drip out.

She walked out, took a deep breath, and walked towards the cell.

Rong Huan was afraid that if he stayed there for another second, he would not be able to help but kill the beast. Kenny thought he was in control of everything, how stupid.

Rong Huan sneered. A real predator often appears as a prey. She will make these people experience extreme pain and regret!

Wanda and Pietro had not been taken away in the past few days and could only wait in the cell. Rong Huan didn't want to make them worry, so she forced herself to appear relaxed.

But even Pietro could see the little girl's anger. He didn't ask her, but told jokes to ease the atmosphere.

Three days later, after the experiment was over, Kenny ordered Rong Huan to take action.

Rong Huan nodded obediently, calling the system in her heart,

"Tongzi, listen to my instructions and prepare to destroy the suppressor."

The system responded, and Rong Huan hurried back to the cell before dinner, and said to Wanda and Pietro,

"Are you ready? It's up to us!"

Wanda took a deep breath and stood side by side with Pietro, indicating that they could start at any time.

She counted down in her heart.

"Three.....two...one! Tongzi!"

With a click, the red dots on the suppressors on the mutants' necks disappeared and turned into a pile of scrap metal.

The children didn't know what was happening yet and looked at their companions in confusion, then they heard Rong Huan's deliberately amplified voice spreading throughout the cell.

"My friends, today we are going to rewrite the history of discrimination against mutants! We must resist! Mutants should not be harmed! Your suppressors have been destroyed, now use your abilities, and rush out together! Long live mutants!!"

Many children were encouraged and their confused looks turned into determination. They raised their hands high. Some timid mutants were still a little hesitant, but when they saw their roaring friends, they couldn't help but raise their hands.

"Long live mutants!!"

At once, people in the cell used fire and ice, and one child with great strength even pried the iron door open.

The once indestructible cell now seemed as fragile as paper. Some children looked at their hands and couldn't believe that they had escaped like this.

Rong Huan continued to hold up the 10-point, 10-minute super loudspeaker that she bought in the mall. The sound was low and sounded very safe.

"Children, our final destination is not the prison cell, but the outside world. The brave ones will enjoy the world first. We are the ones who will rewrite the fate of mutants!"

The eyes of the others were all sparkling, bursting with unprecedented light, but there was only one voice questioning,

"What do you mean? Hydra is so powerful, do you want us to die?"

Rong Huan looked over and saw that the leader was a boy with a scar on his face, followed by several younger brothers.

Wanda recognized that he was the man who had backstabbed them before, and she looked at him unfriendly and was about to go up to him and teach him a lesson.

Rong Huan stopped her and looked at the few little mutants who seemed to be shaking without much concern.

"Then you can stay. I won't care about the life and death of those who don't want to leave. Since you want to be experimented on every day, stay here. Maybe Hydra will find out that you are 'loyal' and reward you."

Rong Huan continued indifferently,

"If you don't want to follow us, you can follow him. I just said that once the arrow is shot, it cannot be retrieved. How can you have nothing to do with me?"

The boy who was refuting the argument wanted to use moral blackmail. He stepped forward and tried to grab Rong Huan's arm.

"How can you leave? We are all mutants, so of course you have to take care of us. What if we are in danger?"

Pietro couldn't help it, he flashed and punched him.

"What does your danger have to do with us? No one will save you if you live by betraying your friends!"

The boy fell to the ground, holding his nose and glaring at Pietro fiercely. He was going to complain. If the supervisor found out, none of them would survive!

Rong Huan pointed to the end of the corridor and smiled harmlessly.

"Are you going to complain? Come on, that's it, go ahead."

The boy stood up in panic and was about to say something stubborn, but he saw his long-missed supervisor walking towards him not far away. His expression lit up with joy.

"Ha, you're all doomed..."

He froze before he could finish his words. He saw that his supervisor had a dull expression and it was clear that he was being controlled.

The younger brothers around him saw that their big brother actually wanted them all to die, so they walked past him in disappointment and walked towards Rong Huan's team and blended into the crowd.

The boy panicked when he saw that he was outnumbered. He wanted to threaten Rong Huan, but Rong Huan just patted Wanda on the shoulder and praised her for doing a good job.

Wanda smiled shyly, ignoring the sweat on her forehead. Her hands were glowing red. Just now, she received Rong Huan's gaze and began to control the people in the basement.

They also blacked out the surveillance system to prevent those above from finding anything unusual. Now this floor completely belongs to them.

Rong Huan was afraid that Wanda would lose too much magic and couldn't hold on, so she quickly handed the map and bombs to Pietro. Pietro took them solemnly and disappeared in an instant.

Not long after, he came back, patted his chest, showed his white teeth and told everyone that everything was arranged.

Rong Huan nodded and asked others to help lock up all the Hydra members in the cell. Until the last lock fell, Wanda suddenly withdrew her magic and fell to the ground in exhaustion.

Pietro quickly held his sister and wiped off her sweat. Wanda smiled at everyone's worried eyes.

"It's okay, I just overexerted myself. I can stand up after a rest."

Rong Huan was relieved and stared into the cell. The people who were controlled came back to their senses and found themselves in the cell, looking at the little mutant outside and cursing.

The one who cursed the most was Big Beard. He usually loved to bully these lowly test subjects, but now that the roles were reversed, of course his defense was broken.

Rong Huan smiled, she walked into the iron fence and said word by word,

"What did I say? I'll make you pay! Now, enjoy your last moments!"
