Chapter 59 Avengers Building

Chapter 59 Avengers Building

Wanda looked at Tony Stark's guilty face and felt that he was just acting.

Rong Huan knew very well that her hatred could not be vented in a short time, so she quickly changed the subject.

"Well, I don't want to go to school. I'll go to the building with him."

She glanced at Wanda's face and whispered to Pietro,

"Just take Wanda back to school."

Rong Huan originally didn't want the two to follow her, but Pietro, who was always easily influenced, refused and insisted on following her.

Although Wanda didn't want to stay with her enemy for a moment, the little girl was determined to follow Iron Man.

Tony Stark watched the three children whispering about something, not realizing that they were about to have a little burden.

Mr. Stark, who was once an old father who was heartbroken by his children's running around, is now quite interested in Rong Huan.

As a core figure of the Avengers, he destroyed many Hydra bases.

Every time the little mutants were rescued, they were either tortured beyond recognition or had become useless.

The survival situation of mutants can be seen clearly. Ordinary people are afraid of hatred, and Hydra only wants to use their abilities.

It can be said that mutants are like a race excluded by society, with no place to stay anywhere.

But Rong Huan was clearly aware of this, and even the vigilance and cleverness he displayed were not what a young child who had escaped from the base should have.

Tony Stark was about to speak when he received a call from Nick Fury.

"Tony, bring that child back. Her abilities are rare."

Stark's rebellious nature immediately broke out, he shut up instantly, and suddenly didn't want to take Rong Huan back.

Nick is worthy of being the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., at least he has some experience in controlling Iron Man.

He predicted Stark's intention and played his cards straight away.

"Her power is healing."

Tony Stark's pupils shrank. If the senior executives knew the four words "healing ability", Rong Huan's ending would be obvious.

She will go from one hell to another, and even Professor X may not be able to save her.

Now the top leaders of the United States are planning to introduce a mutant bill, and Rong Huan's appearance will undoubtedly become the fuse.

He had no choice but to take her back and protect her.

Tony Stark sighed, and finally agreed with Nick Fury.

He made another call, and a moment later a private plane landed in the open space.

Rong Huan could tell at a glance that this was from Iron Man, because the color scheme of the plane was exactly the same as that of Iron Man.

Thinking that a plate of scrambled eggs with tomatoes would soon fly across the sky, she looked up at the sky in silence.

Stark extended his hand and made a gentleman's gesture of invitation. Rong Huan boarded the plane first, followed closely by Wanda and Pietro.

Rong Huan seldom takes a plane, firstly because she has no money and secondly because there is no need.

She looked at the clouds in the sky curiously, and suddenly remembered that the scenery was the same last time Clark lifted the car and took them away from the tornado.

She turned her head away silently, unable to watch any longer.

Stark kept an eye on the three of them. Wanda sat farthest away from him, holding Pietro's hand tightly.

What Wanda said just now remained in Stark's heart. He lowered his eyes with a serious expression.

The plane soon arrived over New York. New York was very similar to a big city, with tall buildings everywhere.

The plane slowly stopped on the top of the building, and Stark led them into the building.

The elevator slowly descended, and Rong Huan discovered that the Avengers Building was the highest point in New York, and most of New York could be seen from the top.

Tony Stark's armor automatically detached from his body as soon as he got off the plane. He smiled at the child in a casual suit and said,

“New York is more beautiful at night.”

Rong Huan looked up and was amazed at the Iron Man's wealth.

The elevator quickly reached the 18th floor, and when the door opened, I saw a black man wearing a blindfold standing in the living room.

With his tall stature and stern face, he could scare children into tears just by standing there.

Stark obviously thought so too. He turned around and looked at Rong Huan, and found that she looked calm and a little surprised.

The last time the Avengers went on a mission, they happened to rescue a child, and Nick Fury happened to be there.

The little boy burst into tears the moment he saw him.

If Eagle Eyes wasn’t good at coaxing children, the hot search the next day would have been about Chaoying bullying children.

Nick Fury seemed not to notice Wanda and Pietro, his eyes fixed on Rong Huan.

Then he took a few steps forward and looked down at the little girl.

"Hello, my name is Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Rong Huan felt a little uncomfortable being stared at like that, and was even more annoyed by Nick's condescending gaze.

She bared her teeth to make herself look fierce.

"I don't know you"

In everyone's eyes, Rong Huan looked like a little cat, cute and fierce. Stark couldn't help laughing and thought this child was really adorable.

Wanda and Pietro on the side also had smiles on their faces, and Wanda reached out and touched Rong Huan's head.

Nick continued,

"I know your abilities and what you have done. From now on you will be monitored by us until we are sure you are not a threat."

The smiles of the three disappeared, and Stark stood in front of Rong Huan and fired at Nick.

"What do you mean, she's a child and you want to monitor her?!"

Nick's vision was blocked, and he looked at Stark.

"This is necessary. She has been judged to be highly dangerous and must be monitored..."

"Like you guys were spying on Old Popsicle?"

Tony Stark interrupted directly.

"She's a victim. Why don't you just deal with Hydra and blame everything on a child?"

Nick Fury's eyes were deep, and he disagreed with what Tony Stark said.

Surveillance is to prevent Rong Huan from doing dangerous things. SHIELD knows everything she does in the base.

Rong Huan never expected that Stark would confront Nick Fury for a stranger like her.

She could understand Nick being on guard against her; after all, everyone has a sense of vigilance.

But when she heard him say "I know everything", Rong Huan couldn't help it.

She popped up from behind Stark and spoke in a high-pitched voice.

"What do you mean by all? You knew about those kids in the base from the beginning, right?"

Tony Stark paused, and Nick Fury stared at her for a long time before answering.

"Yes, we did detect the existence of little mutants."

Rong Huan's eyes turned cold.

“When does it start?”

Nick was silent. Rong Huan raised his voice and almost yelled. After a long while, he spoke.

"I've always known."

Rong Huan's eyes were red and her nails were clenched tightly on her palms.

"You knew all along, but you allowed Hydra to harm mutants. Shouldn't they be protected?"

Nick and Rong Huan looked at each other.

"Hydra's power is very complex. In order not to alert the enemy..."

Rong Huan didn't want to hear that. She only knew the simple saying "Don't make trouble by striking at the grass". Many children will suffer inhuman treatment.

The so-called consideration of the overall situation is nothing more than sacrificing a part to preserve the majority. What is the basis for this?

Why should mutants be abandoned? Because they want to catch them all, so they choose to watch them die without helping.
